Adele walked along the path through the forest that lead to the beach. She loved spending time outside, it was warm and the sun was shining. Today she was going to be meeting someone that her friend had set her up with. She was a little nervous, but how bad could it be she thought. She took off her sandals and walked in the sand in her barefeet. She watched the waves roll in and out, crashing upon the sand.

BURN BRIGHTER THAN THE SUN ☼
Christian had been swimming since the early morning. His friends had set him up from someone in the Aphrodite cabin and therefore he wasn't all that excited. Mostly girls from there were snobby, gorgeous but snobby. Christian himself was a laid back guy who was a bit cold-hearted and didn't have a single care in the world. All he would do is train, be a player, swim, train, sleep, be a player, train etc. He never stood still, he was always doing something, not only because of the natural ADHD he possessed but because it simply just annoyed him, people who wanted to have long conversations and whatnot.
Christian came out of the sea and shook his head violently causing waterdrops to splatter all around him. He brushed his hand through his hair quickly and walked to his towel. He had no idea who he was supposed to find so he hoped whoever he'd been set up with had more info about him and knew what to look for because all he knew was that he was looking for a girl from the Aphrodite Cabin and there were about 5 cooing him right now trying to use CharmSpeak on him which didn't work as his mum was Goddess of Persuasion and Seduction.

Adele looked around to see if she could find the guy that she was to meet. She saw him coming out of the water, and headed towards his towel. She walked over to the boy and introduced herself. "you must be Christian, Im Adele, daughter of Aphrodite." she said, as she sat down in the sand beside Christian.

And I will try; to fix you
When you try your best, but you don't succeed When you get what you want, but not what you need When you feel so tired, but you can't sleep Stuck in reverse And the tears come streaming down your face When you lose something you can't replace When you love someone, but it goes to waste Could it be worse? Lights will guide you home
Christian smiled a lopsided smile that didn't quite reach his eyes, "I'm Christian, son of Peitho," he said it in a polite fashion but without any interest. He wasn't really into blind dates...they annoyed him because they were always incredibly boring and awkward. You didn't know what the other person liked so you didn't know what to do with them, second you hadn't met before so you wouldn't know where to start a conversation and third, most of the time the 'set-ups' ended up being either friends or never speaking to each other again and just going on with their lives.
Christian glanced sideways as she sat, "How're you?" he started with his melodic voice that could convince anyone of anything. Christians mother was the goddess of persuasion and seduction. This basically meant that Christian was such an amazing liar and so convincing no-one could punch a hole in his story once he'd caught their eye. However he couldn't turn his powers of so he tended to wear sunglasses or try and avoid direct eye contact with whoever he was having a conversation with.
