| I don't think I'll ever rp with these charries again, so I guess it would be nice to put them up for adoption. They are barely used, so feel free to change them/develop them in any way you want. By the way, they're 50 drachmas each. FREE. ADIN GREYHOUND;; Daughter of Apollo
- Spoiler:
BASICS;;
Name: Adin Greyhound Age/Birthday: 13 / October 3 Gender: Female Godly Parent: Apollo Claimed: Yes Mortal Family: Janine Greyhound (Mother) Years in Camp: 0 DELVING DEEPER;;
Brief History: From an early age, Adin had to face countless jibes about her not having a father unlike ‘normal’ kids, about her dyslexia. Her mother Janine continued to reassure her that her father worked abroad and even showed her letters from him. Being so young at that time, Adin didn’t question her mother, but as she grew up, she began to realize a lot of things. Things like how her mother didn’t have the title ‘Mrs,’ and that the handwriting on her father’s ‘letters’ were very similar to her mother’s. Adin finally confronted her mother about what really was going on with her father. However, Janine refused to disclose any information and in the next days, acted like nothing happened. Hurt and confused, Adin tried to find out anything from her other relatives, but she only received the same answer: ‘I don’t know.’
Already a quiet child, Adin became more sensitive and kept to herself more often. While she had some friends at school, she preferred the company of Rocky, her three-year-old golden retriever. One day, when Adin took Rocky out for a walk, she spotted a huge black dog watching the two of them. At this time Rocky was already growling and baring his teeth at the other dog, and not wanting any trouble, Adin quickened her pace and tried to pull Rocky away. Then all of a sudden, Rocky yelped and began backing away. Looking behind her, Adin saw that the dog (hellhound) grew bigger and advanced towards them. She barely escaped with her life. After hearing what happened, Janine immediately brought Adin to Camp Half-Blood, stating that the camp holds the answers she had always been looking for.
Physical Appearance: Adin has straight shoulder-length black hair and easy-to-read onyx eyes. She stands at five feet. She has slightly pale skin. She usually wears a plain shirt under a bulky jacket, since she’s insecure about her skinny build. She looks weak, and she believes that she really is. Her appearance of being a weak girl causes most kids her age to pick on her.
Personality: Adin is very shy and doesn’t trust people easily (due to the fact that her mother lied to her back in her childhood). However, she’s extremely kind and will try to help people out if she thinks they’re in need. People describe her with the words ‘humble’ and ‘sweet’. She is insecure about herself and her abilities. She downplays herself and her talents especially when it comes to her singing ability. She also believes that anybody else can do stuff better than she can. Yep, pretty pessimistic girl over here.
Fatal Flaw: She has low self-confidence and doubts herself a lot, to the point that she will refuse to do things she believes she can't do. SOME MORE DETAILS;;
Pets: A three-year-old golden retriever named Rocky (male). Talents: She can sing very well. She also has a knack of determining whether a person is lying or not, but she won’t tell people that. Weapons: A golden bracelet which can turn into golden bow and arrows. The number of arrows summoned are dependent on Adin's energy at that time. At the moment, the maximum number of arrows she can summon is three. Year-Round or Summer: Year-Round Other: None.
ABIGAIL MORRIGAN;; Daughter of Athena
- Spoiler:
BASICS;;
Name: Abigail Morrigan Age/Birthday: 17 / August 8, 1994 Gender: Female Godly Parent: Athena Claimed: Yes Mortal Family: David Morrigan (father) Years in Camp: 4 DELVING DEEPER;;
Brief History: When David Morrigan, an intellectual businessman, learned that he had a child with the goddess of wisdom, he was overwhelmed with joy. He had always dreamed of a child who would bring him a lot of honor, especially in academic things. David had taught little Abigail how to read, write and do basic arithmetic at around three years old. Abigail had only slight dyslexia so she found these to be easier than other demigods, but she had extreme ADHD to make up for that. Anyway, Abby always met his high expectations as the little girl mastered everything David taught her at such a young age. Abby became David’s pride and joy, his finest treasure to show off to all his friends and acquaintances. Abby didn’t mind it at that time, being too young to understand that her father considered her as more of a trophy than his child.
Abigail aced all her subjects when she started going to school. She was the teacher’s pet, the smartest kid in class, and she won awards like ‘Most Behaved’, ‘Most Friendly’ and things like that. David was beyond ecstatic for having such a gifted child in his hands. But what he failed to notice—or ignored, really—was that other kids avoided Abigail. They were mostly jealous of her, but Abby didn’t really fully understand why. She was just an innocent and naïve kid back then. Despite the efforts she invested in making friends with other children her age, her schoolmates still didn’t like her because she was the ideal kid and they were jealous of that fact.
Then, a single mistake changed it all.
When Abby was in second grade, she failed one exam. It was the first exam she ever failed. She was slightly scared to tell her dad about it, since he was always pressuring her to be the best. When she finally told him, David went from super nice to extremely scary. He started yelling at her for failing, telling her that she didn’t try hard enough. Scared of the sudden change in her father’s demeanor, Abigail became terrified of failing. But then, the pressure seemed to get on her nerves more than she realized, and soon enough found herself failing subject after subject, the pressure just getting into her head. Unable to face the shame, David pulled Abby out of school and moved from one state to another to start over.
It seemed to be a cycle. Abigail did well at first, then commits a single mistake then screws it all up. Then they moved. This happened a lot of times that Abby couldn’t even remember where she was born. And she couldn’t even ask David, since her father was growing more and more distant from her every time she disappointed him. It even came to a point when they were no longer speaking to each other, the only words exchanged limited to ‘pass me the salt’ or trivial things along those lines. Eventually, Abigail got pretty tired of it and just started failing subjects on purpose. And somehow it was much easier. Even if she got an F, Abby actually learned more things with most of the pressure now gone. She just no longer felt the need to please her father, and that just brought her intense relief.
Then it just occurred to Abigail. What if she just ran away? Her father no longer cared anyway. So one day while her father believed that she was going to school, she just decided to run away. With her school bag containing clothes instead of books, Abby just strayed off the path to find her own way. Fortunately, a satyr found her before she could attract some trouble or monsters and brought her to camp. Then she was claimed immediately as she set foot in the camp’s borders.
Abigail liked camp ever since, and she was definitely sure that her dad had no idea that she was here. In fact, Abby guessed that her dad assumed her to be dead. It still hurt her a bit every now and then, not seeing her dad, but she had convinced herself that it was for the best.
Physical Appearance: Standing at a measly height of 5’4”, Abigail has straight dirty blond hair reaching around five inches past her shoulders. She sports the trademark gray eyes of an Athena child. Abby has fair looks as described by most people. She takes great care of her appearance, carefully avoiding imperfections like acne or pimples. She also dresses nicely, looking girly and conservative—usually wearing a tight-fitting shirt and skinny jeans. Abigail is remarked to be a simple girl.
Personality: Abigail is actually a pretty nice and friendly girl. Being selfless, she loves helping people, even those she doesn’t know. She always believes that people have a bright side and that not everyone is all bad. She can trust a person easily, but once that trust is broken, Abby will never trust said person again. Abby is clever enough to not let herself be manipulated. She is the kind of girl who knows that she is rather smart, but prefers not to show it. It is safe to say that this demigod knows her limits well. She has also grown to be very independent since her father had started to ignore her, and she would rather not ask someone for help.
When Abigail decided to no longer care about school, she eventually progressed into a more rebellious and lazy style of living. She learned to ignore rules and procrastinate. She also won’t do something she doesn’t like. Abby has also started to dislike studying, because it reminded her of her father and his expectations. Abby doesn’t hate her dad, but her feelings are somewhat between indifferent and just downside annoyed. Due to her extreme ADHD, Abigail just can't sit still and tends to walk around a lot just for something to do.
Fatal Flaw: Abigail can become too independent that she would actually refuse help even if she needs it. She can also be too helpful, but she hasn’t gotten into any trouble for that… yet. SOME MORE DETAILS;;
Pets: None Talents:
- Strategy Formulation. Abigail has a knack in formulating battle strategies, typical of an Athena kid. She prefers to organize from the sidelines rather than be in the frontlines.
- Photographic Memory. The reason why Abby excels at school, even with her slight dyslexia. She can easily memorize anything—names, definitions, whatever else.
Weapons: Abigail’s weapon of choice is her three-foot-long celestial bronze sword named Strix. She never bothers to practice with her sword though, since she just doesn’t like or want to. Her skills are mediocre at best. Year-Round or Summer: Year-Round Other: None.
RILEY JAE WILLIAMS;; Daughter of Hermes and a Hunter of Artemis GIVEN TO VINA
CHRYS JAYDEN RUSSELL;; Daughter of Aeolus GIVEN TO FUDGE
KEITH TOBIAS WARREN;; Son of Hermes
- Spoiler:
BASICS;;
Name: Keith Tobias Warren Nickname: He goes by Keith, Toby and even Warren. It actually depends on his mood. As a result, people know him by different names. However, he uses Warren most of the time and he only introduces himself as Keith in front of little children, who he has a soft spot for. Age: 17 Birthday: May 19, 1995 Gender: Male Godly Parent: Hermes Claimed: Yes Mortal Family: Evangeline Duchac (mother - deceased), Rupert Duchac (stepfather), Theodore Kane Duchac (stepbrother - deceased) Years in Camp: 2 DELVING DEEPER;;
Brief History: Even as a young boy, Warren was already a troublemaker. He could almost pass as a school bully in preschool because of his tendency to play seemingly harmless pranks on his classmates. His mother had been called in to the office more times than anyone can count. Raising a dyslexic boy with ADHD as a single parent was a challenge and Evangeline Warren can attest to that. Phone calls from teachers were almost a weekly occurrence for her and she would have been so surprised if she hadn’t gotten one for a certain period of time. Despite the trouble Warren made her put up with, she loved the little boy with all her heart and wouldn’t dream of ever letting him go.
When Warren was five, there came a man who managed to capture Evangeline’s heart. All Warren could remember was that Rupert loved his mother as much as he did. He made her happy, and that much was enough for Warren. They got married in a year and Warren found it awesome how he can have someone to call his father, a man he can look up to and idolize.
Within that same year, Evangeline gave birth to Theodore. Moments after seeing the tiny helpless infant in his mother’s arms, Warren vowed to be the best big brother ever and protect Theodore from all harm.
As the two grew up, Warren kept his word. While he may play the occasional prank on Theo and didn’t make much of his affection obvious (because it seemed so un-manly, as he put it), he made sure that nothing bad happened to him. If Theo managed to land himself in a playground fight, Warren was always there to back him up. Sometimes, Warren forced himself to stay back and let Theo stand on his own two feet, but if the situation gets too much to handle for the younger boy, he will assume his older brother role once again and do the responsibility he took the day his brother was born.
All seemed good in the next few years, until tragedy struck—Evangeline died in a plane crash. She was on her way to a business meeting alone, leaving Rupert with the kids despite his protests, and it was rather fortunate too. Had she agreed to Rupert’s proposition, all four of them would’ve died.
Warren was only twelve at the time and Theo was seven. Heartbroken by the death of his mother, he blamed Rupert for letting her go. He believed that Rupert should have dissuaded Evangeline from her decision. Despite the fact that it wasn’t really Rupert’s fault, Warren chose to think that way because he felt that he needed someone to blame for Evangeline’s death. Already a troublemaker at school, Warren let his frustrations out on random people he passed by through pranks and even shouting matches and failed all his subjects. The guidance counselor talked to him and discovered that he was not handling the situation well due to the grief of losing his mother. Warren remained stubborn and stormed out of the counselor’s office without looking back.
If Warren wasn’t good at dealing with the matter, Rupert was even worse. Blaming it all on himself like Warren did, he succumbed to drinking. He started out a bottle a week before it turned into two bottles a day in a span of a few weeks. With Rupert becoming an alcoholic and Warren on his way to becoming an out-of-school delinquent, the only one who managed to keep his composure was Theodore.
Warren saw Theodore’s silent coping behavior as annoying and he even came close to hitting his brother for being too ‘calm’ about the whole mess, but as time passed, he began to discover that Theo was the wisest one of the bunch. He studied, kept his cool, and was always behaved whenever Warren went to pick him up after school. It was disorienting at first, but Warren didn’t realize that he was adopting Theo’s attitude himself. The pain of losing Evangeline was still fresh, but Warren started to move on through his brother.
But then, Rupert became worse off. He got fired for not going to the office and continued to drink. There were times when he nearly lost it, yelling at the two children for reasons unknown, and sometimes ordered them to get him beers. With no money and being underage, Warren feared going home without any of his stepfather’s desired liquor on hand and getting him and his brother yelled at or perhaps beat up for that. Out of desperation, he tried his hand in thievery. He discovered that he was especially good at it, not knowing that it was in his blood as a demigod son of Hermes. Soon enough, as Rupert turned to liquor, Warren turned to stealing to sustain his and his brother’s wellbeing. He knew it was bad, but he convinced himself that he didn’t have any choice if he wanted to keep Theo alive.
Soon, Warren no longer stole just for basic needs. He stole because he felt the urge to do so. Perhaps it was the stress of the family crisis getting to him or because the Fates meant for him to become like this all along, but Warren became a kleptomaniac. Most of the things he steals are small insignificant figures that other people miss, but he occasionally finds himself getting an item of higher value like jewelry or high-class food. Theo tried to discourage him from this but his efforts were futile. Warren believed that this was ‘what he was supposed to do’. He could no longer control his impulses whenever it came to stealing. Nevertheless, he assured Theo that he was pretty much the same old big brother he had all along.
Then came the ultimate the test of brotherhood. Rupert, influenced by all the alcoholic beverages he consumed on a daily basis, launched into an uncontrollable rampage and hit Theo. The punch from a full-grown man rendered the younger boy unconscious. Had Warren not walked in to see what all the commotion was about, Theo would have been beaten up to death.
Thinking quickly, thirteen-year-old Warren knocked Rupert out with his mother’s favorite vase. Powered by adrenaline, he hoisted Theo up on his back and ran away, afraid that his stepfather might wake up and kill them both. The brothers ended up on the streets. Warren didn’t want to go to the police in fear that he and Theo would be put into an orphanage. An orphanage meant the possibility that they would be separated. Warren could not let that happen.
They survived for the next week, Warren using his handy ability to keep them full, but he knew that he couldn’t keep this up for long. It would only be a matter of time before someone in the school noticed Theodore’s frequent absences and discover that they had run. Warren tried to put that worry at the back of his mind for the moment, choosing to cross the bridge when he got there.
One night, Warren picked the wrong place to sleep. It turned out that they had wandered in a gang turf. Warren was woken up by a harsh kick to the side and loud brash voices yelling at his ear. He opened his eyes to the sight of huge thugs, most likely in their teenage years, beating his brother up for reasons he can’t explain. Blinded by rage, he lunged at them, trying to stop them from harming Theo more, but he was outnumbered five to one. He received the same treatment like his brother that would’ve resulted to his death, but by chance, two demigods heard the commotion and used their powers to chase the gang away. Warren was half-conscious at the time and mustered up the effort to crawl to where Theodore was. To his horror, the boy was no longer breathing. His brother, the only person that kept him rooted to the world as he seemed to slip away, was dead.
It was Warren’s lowest point in life, and he still blames himself for it now. The two demigods who had helped him were from Camp Half-Blood. Asher, one of the demigods, had a good hunch about the son of Hermes and he was the first one to sense that he was also a demigod. Unable to leave Warren there dying and wanting to see if his their instincts were right, Asher and his friend Wilson made the decision to let Warren tag along with them on their way to Kronos. With Warren being rather emotional and weak-minded at the time, he was easily brainwashed by the Titan lord and joined his side without reluctance. When he was fifteen, he was sent to Camp Half-Blood under the guise of a new and clueless camper for espionage reasons.
Warren was claimed by his father at that point, perhaps in an effort to turn him away from the dark side, but the damage was done. The son of Hermes already felt like he owed the Kronos army for keeping him alive two years after he had run away from home, and it was going to take more than claiming to change that.
Physical Appearance: "Can't you just look, yeah? No? Let's see... I'm awesome-looking. Eh, what do you mean elaborate? Sorry, man, I just can't be arsed." Let’s start from the top, because that’s how people notice Warren first. His dark chestnut brown hair is always a mess. He ruffles it ever-so-often and he doesn’t care if the strands stick up everywhere—well, Warren doesn’t really care if his head looks like a bird made a nest on it. The curly locks on his forehead nearly reach his slightly thick eyebrows, one of which is almost always cocked up. His eyes are nothing special, just a dark shade of brown that almost fade to black. His full lips are usually stretched into a wide mischievous grin that will leave you wondering if your wallet is still safe in your pocket. Warren’s oval-shaped face is almost fully developed as he is nearing adulthood, and upon closer inspection, one can barely make out the slightest hint of stubble on his chin. Warren tries not to emphasize this though, as he doesn’t want to grow up and wishes to remain a kid forever.
Standing tall at 5’11”, Warren is gangly with long arms and legs that contribute to his athletic prowess. He doesn’t really pack a lot of muscle unlike most of the other demigods in camp so he puts on baggy and large clothes in the effort to make him look bigger than he really is. Warren’s lack of body mass leads him to be more nimble and quick in battle which bodes well with the fact that he specializes in evasion tactics rather than offensive ones.
Warren wears rocker-style clothes. Black is his color and it is always present on his outfit. Black leather jackets, black sneakers, black shirts, black pants, you get the picture. He likes tribal designs too, to the point that he has a tattoo of a tribal dragon snaked around his left arm, from his shoulder to his wrist. Despite his dark way in presenting himself, Warren always has something on (most of the time an accessory like a watch) that hurts people’s eyes, bright neon colors especially, and it is unknown whether he does this on purpose or not.
Personality: This independent, mischievous and daring boy is commonly found doing crazy stuff like flipping off random people, playing childish pranks on innocent campers and pickpocketing from unsuspecting people in New York. Warren is no stranger to drinking and smoking, but he at least has the courtesy to keep from doing it in front of very young children. At first glance, he is thought of as dangerous and the kind of guy parents would warn their kids to avoid.
This son of Hermes is no stranger to danger. He will actually jump at the chance to do extreme sports like maybe skydiving, wakeboarding, bungee jumping, and pretty much anything that gives him thrill and excitement to last a lifetime. While Warren will face these activities head-on, he doesn’t bear the same attitude to actual demigod-style spars. He prefers dodging and even fleeing with the least possible amount of damage. He doesn’t think that fleeing is a coward’s road. Rather, it feels to him like the ‘smart’ way out. If escape is not an option, he will attempt to just evade, wearing his opponent down before delivering a sure and final blow when the opportunity presents itself.
Warren is witty and sarcastic when you grab the chance to actually talk to him. He will throw jokes around is actually pretty fun to be with if you don’t mind his teases and slightly dirty way of doing things. Warren likes surrounding himself with people who find his ways fun, but he also doesn’t mind being alone. It is advised that you keep a close eye on your things at all times as Warren is a kleptomaniac and a son of Hermes—not a good combination for the people around him. Sometimes, he can take things right under your nose regardless if you see him or not. Stealing is second nature to him and he is very impulsive when it comes to that.
He also isn’t the prince charming most girls are hoping for, unless they like boys who make such an obvious display of hitting on them and are above committing themselves to only one girl. Warren is immature at heart and isn’t the type to look for a long-lasting relationship, especially at his age where he values fun above everything else.
What one wouldn’t expect from a guy like Warren is that he has a soft spot for very young kids. They can, in a way, become his weakness. He likes to play around and really doesn’t mind being with them even if they are barely half his age. Warren also has the habit to look his best whenever kids are in the picture. But of course, he doesn’t like people knowing about this little quirk of his. He usually threatens those who know about it (which is comprised of only a few people, by the way) and they are smart enough not to get on his bad side. Well, there was a camper once who did just that, but he ended up watching his back every second for the rest of his life because of the ‘accidents’ that happened to him on a daily basis.
Warren has a short temper. He doesn’t forgive and forget. Once you make it to his ‘Most Hated’ list, you’ll be hard-pressed to get out of it. It isn’t good news for you either, because Warren will make sure that you will regret the day you’ve ever been born. On the contrary, if you get him to like you or if you do him a favor, he will be loyal and trustworthy to his dying breath. This isn’t obvious as most people don’t make an effort to get close to him. Actually, Warren can project a better more likeable image of himself if he wants to, but he prefers to make himself known as some sort of a bad boy.
Campers think that Warren is just fooling around with the stuff that he does, but they barely suspect the persona behind his act. This son of Hermes works for Kronos. He is cunning enough to keep anyone from knowing about this. He is also careful not to talk about anything related to the Titan lord because he doesn’t want to run the risk of his tongue slipping, but he is actually on the lookouts for new recruits. Warren has a way with words and will target those who are especially weak-minded and whose minds are filled with doubt and wavering loyalty.
Fatal Flaw: Warren’s fatal flaw is that he can be overly sentimental. This is most obvious through his different attitude towards children. He also feels the same way towards people who have done him a huge kindness. Warren will do absolutely everything to repay the favor and he considers himself indebted to them for life. SOME MORE DETAILS;;
Pets: None. Talents:
- Athletics. With Hermes being the patron of athletics, it isn’t a surprise to say that Warren can be pretty sporty if he wants to be. With quick reflexes, he is a fast runner and he is the kind of kid who got picked first for teams.
- Thievery. Warren is greatly skilled in taking people’s things without them noticing. He is driven by random impulses to steal thanks to his kleptomania.
- Combat Skills. Warren has mediocre skills when it comes to swords and he knows it.
Weapons: An unnamed three-foot celestial bronze sword. Year-Round or Summer: Year-Round Other: I'm not giving away Warren's playby, but I'm willing to share if you adopt him.
ALEXANDRA LOUISE WHITLOCK;; Daughter of Zeus
- Spoiler:
BASICS;;
Name: Alexandra Louise Whitlock Nickname: Goes by Alex since she hates Alexandra. Age: 17 Birthday: June 16, 1995 Gender: Female Godly Parent: Zeus Claimed: Yes Mortal Family: Diana Whitlock (mother), Lios Alexander Whitlock (brother) Years in Camp: 6 DELVING DEEPER;;
Brief History: Diana used to live in San Francisco, but moved to New York since strange things started happening to her small family when Alexandra was born. Things like huge beasts the size of trucks seemed to just appear out of nowhere and attack for no reason. Flying things also seemed to follow her family, and Diana even claimed to have seen one of these weird bird things tapping on her window. Even the minutes before she left the state with the toddler Alex in her arms and a small five-year-old boy Lios pulling on the end of her shirt, Diana was plagued with the appearance of creatures that seemed to come to life from her old Edith Hamilton mythology book.
For a few years, the small family lived peacefully. Being a person with a lot of connections, Diana was able to rise up the ladder and end up as a top manager of an accounting firm. Diana still noticed some unusual things every now and then, but she paid them no heed. She smartly devoted her time to work and raising her two children. She provided them with all their needs and even sent them to the best private schools. But even with this luxury, Lios and Alex did not grow up into rich spoiled brats. They were as normal as any other child.
Alexandra was the typical average student. She wasn’t one of the popular kids in school. She kept her cool, tried not to get into too much trouble, and has a huge circle of friends since she liked to talk to everyone and anyone in general. She was similar to her half-brother Lios in many ways, and they even tend to clash at times, but they got along surprisingly well.
And then, there came the time when strange things started to happen again.
Lios, a fifteen-year-old then, was extremely annoyed when Alex gave him back his GameBoy with its battery dead and fried. She claimed to have not tampered with the hardware but couldn’t explain how the battery ended up pretty much burned. However, Alex admitted to having been totally frustrated with the GameBoy when she lost all her lives in the game she was playing.
Pretty soon, Diana discovered that most of Alex’s gadgets ended up being burnt, as much as the ten-year-old tried to hide them. She noticed that Alex’s cell phones got destroyed often, and these usually happen after she fails an exam or a subject. Or when she gets into a fight with her friends.
Diana also found it weird how a crippled boy from Alex’s class seemed to follow her everywhere.
And the last straw? When a huge shadowy dog went on a rampage in their very own home, almost killing the three of them. They would have been dead if the crippled boy hadn’t shown up and played his flute to somehow subdue the beast.
Since then, Alex was sent to camp. She wasn’t entirely sure why at first since her mother refused to tell her anything, but she figured it out after about a week. She was claimed three years after she first entered camp, during a thunder storm. A lightning bolt was about to hit one of her fellow campers and Alex instinctively manipulated the said bolt to hit a place somewhere else. She passed out after doing this, but not before seeing the lightning bolt symbol above head.
Physical Appearance: "Well I'm not ugly but I'm not really pretty either, so I guess you can say I'm average-looking..? Uh, I'm okay in the height department and I'm definitely not fat. That's a good thing, right? I mean, I wouldn't want to be fat. It's unhealthy. Uh, yeah, I know being thin can also be unhealthy but I think it's still better than being fat. I mean, it's easier to run and things like that. Not that I'm athletic, but when a monster comes charging at poor weaponless you, you'll need to like run. It's basically a demigod's second nature. Wait... I should be talking about what I look like, how did it come to running from monsters..?"
Alexandra wouldn't be considered for a runway modeling career, not that she expressed any interest in it. While she sports an okay height of 5'6", Alex's frame leans more towards skinny rather than slender. She watches what she eats a little too much, to the point that she sometimes has only two bites of food at maximum for lunch and dinner. Her arms and legs are long and thin enough to see the slightest hints of the bone under her fair skin.
Originally, Alex sported the trademark blonde hair for Zeus kids, but she dyed it black some few ages ago on a random impulse. Now, dying her hair once again, her hair looks to be a dark shade of brown, almost bordering on auburn. Her long hair reaches up to her elbow it doesn't fall straight past her shoulders. Rather, it can be somewhat messy even if Alex tries her best to comb it, and to fix it, she sometimes resorts to putting it up in a bun or braiding it down her back.
Alex's eyes are a clear shade of blue like the sky, but she often wears shades to cover them. It's not that she's ashamed of her eyes, no; she just likes having black tinted glasses on to give off a 'celebrity-ish' vibe. Alex has an angular face with defined cheekbones and half of her face is usually occupied by a smile. She prefers to smile with her mouth closed, what with her teeth not really being perfect. Well, at first glance they look aligned, but upon closer inspection one can see the small gap between her two front ones. While an expert on make-up, Alex doesn't really wear much, just some concealer here and there to hide a few zits and freckles.
Alex's dressing style is described to be rather girly. While not interested in the modeling part, Alex likes fashion in general and is quick to look up the newest trends. Her outfits comprise of what is usually new in the stores - mostly blouses, skintight jeans, and heels - but she never leaves home without a colorful lanyard around her neck where her Canon DSLR is attached.
Personality: Alexandra is, for the most part, unpredictable. She can go from happy-go-lucky to annoyed in just mere seconds, and it is usually just caused by a small detail. She can be described as a ticking time bomb around people since they almost never know at what point she snaps. Alex can be very moody because of this, but most of the time she is pretty hyperactive.
With people, she tends to ramble on and on, even about random things that have no connection to the topic whatsoever. Her mouth has a mind of its own, she claims. The words leave her lips before she can properly think them through, and this trait has landed her in more tricky situations than she can count. Some people have dubbed Alex to be insensitive because of this. What with the girl blurting out things without even thinking, she usually doesn't realize that she is already hurting people with what she says.
Alex leaps before she looks, and this is most obvious through her outspoken attitude. The daughter of Zeus does the first thing that comes to mind without hesitation. Most of the time, her instincts are bang out of order and she ends up overreacting to a small situation and blows it up into epic proportions. Adding to this, she is quick to become paranoid due to her active imagination, sometimes counting the chickens before the eggs even hatch.
She is also a frequent compulsive liar and breaks promises often. People don't really trust her completely. Alex isn't the type of person one should confide his deepest secrets to, lest he wants them spilled out to the whole population of human beings the next few hours. Also being a romantic, she is great at sniffing out rumors and gossips relating to love and is quick to spread it around. Alex doesn't mean this most of the time, but she doesn't think she could help it.
Another trait of Alex is that she finds it hard to finish things she has started, since her attention span is really short and she loses interest in them halfway through. This impatience is mostly caused by ADHD. She has already lost count of all the projects and hobbies she tried in the past. Embroidery, guitar-playing, cross-stitching, heck even video-game playing - none of them really stuck. However, there is one hobby which she remains committed to until this day, and that's photography. She loves photography to bits and takes the utmost care of her trusty DSLR. Her motto goes, 'Mess with my camera and die.'
Fatal Flaw: Alex cannot control her emotions. She is rubbish at anger management. SOME MORE DETAILS;;
Pets: None. Talents: "I can do stuff with electricity, but it's of course expected. It's honestly scary sometimes, because I don't really have much control over my powers and it has the tendency to spiral out of my control... wait, where are you going? Don't be scared! I told you, I'm harmless! Well, at this point, maybe... Waaaaait! Come back!"
- Lightning and Electricity Manipulation. As a child of Zeus, Alex can of course control lightning or any form of electricity. She finds it easier if the electricity is already there instead of her creating it first.
- Electricity Generation. Alex can actually channel electricity from her fingertips, but she only has mild control of the electricity and using this power drains a lot of her energy. Since she doesn’t really practice using this a lot, the electricity she channels goes out of control and usually hurts any creature within a five foot radius from Alex. Her power also goes out of control when is feeling a particularly strong emotion like anger and excitement.
- Combat Skills. Alex’s skills in combat extends to her being an average fighter with her twin blades.
Weapons: Alex has a pair of celestial bronze daggers. These are very similar in appearance, with the golden hilts imprinted with a lightning sigil. Alex can also channel electricity through these blades, able to electrocute the things she stabs with them. When not in use, Alex can press the buttons on the bottom of the handles to transform them into twin golden bracelets. She wears one on each hand, and to activate their dagger mode, Alex only has to clap them together, with each bracelet touching the other on the lightning symbol embedded on its side. Year-Round or Summer: Year-Round Other: You may only adopt Alex if you meet the 500-post requirement of having a BTC.
I hope these characters find themselves a great home!
