Who are you? {ALLY}

I tried to stay out of everyone's way, I really did. So, being myself, I went to the only place that I knew how to get to. The water. I sat down, and slipped of my shoes and put my feet in the water. I gave a sigh, wich was when I heard a twig snap from behind me. If Cerberus was here, he would have begun growling even before that. I was glad that even though it was nice and quiet, I hadn't taken off my eyepatch. "Whose there?" I called, turning my head.

"Oh, I'm, Uh, Shana," I said kind of awkwardly, given the fact that I followed a girl to the stream and she saw me. I could help it, it was just my natural curiousity. "Sorry about that," I said, still feeling kind of strange about this. "I'm Shana Moll, daughter of Dionysus. Who're you?"

"I'm Melli. Daughter of Posiden." I turn my head back and stare at the creek. "Why?" I asked her. Did she follow me here? I wouldn't be suprised. A lot of people get curious about a girl with an eyepatch.

"Natural curiousity?"I guessed about my self, shrugging my shoulders as I did so. As I spoke I looked to the opposite side o her head, the side that didn't have the eye patch. I didn't want to stare, or be rude or anything.

"They say that curiosity killed the cat." I said. "It's not allway's a good thing. My own curiosity caused this." I pointed to my left eye, that was coverd up with my hair and my eyepatch. "You never know what might happen." I smiled.

"I have ADHD you know, so I can't help it. My brain just wanders off when I'm bored," I explained. "Ouch," I winced. "What happened there?"

Oops, up there I used Cyan when I meant green. Sorry if I confused you.

~Nah, that's ok. I kinda figured. I've doon that myself a few times myself.~

I turn my head and look away. That's not something that I want to talk about. "Let me give you some advice." This time I do look at her. "Don't trust people you've just met. It always leads to bad things." I say, turning my back once more.

I looked at her weirdly. Was everybody like me, not trusting? "I'm already on that page," I said as i sat down beside the creek. Trying to change the subject, I said, "So...you're a Poseidon kid? That's pretty cool."

I shrug. "It's nothing special." But that was a lie. According to...them, I was very special. "He left my mom. Personally, I'm quite mad. He could at least have helped her out. Her and my brother were left raising me."

"Poseidon's defiently more special than Dionysus kids. You can control water and all. I can strangle people with vines. Some talent," I said sarcastically. "And all gods have to leave their families. Think, if they stayed with them foreer and never had more kids, eventually, there'd be no more demigods. That would...really suck," I mumbled.

As the girl talks, I make a small serpent out of water rise out of the creek. It does some flips and twirls before I get tierd, and release it. "Stragling people. That is a very practical talent." I said, trying to make the girl feel better. But it was true, having a talent like that would be usefull during batle.

"I'm not really into killing people though," I said. "You, on the other hand can shoot water at people without killing them, but at least it gets them afraid and injures them."

I give a shrug. "Water is powerful, yet weak. We need it to survive, but it can kill us if were not careful. I guess it just depends on how you look at it." I say, putting my hand in the water, and then taking it out. I don't collect any water, I just let it drizzle through my fingers.

"Good point,"I say. Water is dangerous, considering what happened to my friend Holly's little brother and that lake... "So...you running for cabin leader or anything?"

I shook my head. "I'm not much of a leader, I just go off and do my own things. People just happen to follow, sometimes." I say, hoping that Shana will see what I mean by 'People just happen to follow.' I give a small snicker.

"Oh---Uh, yeah, I guess." I laughed back, understanding her comparison. "I'm running. But not going to win," I shrugged again. "But there's always next year."

I shake my head. "No, I don't plan on running. Ever." I say. "I don't think that I'd be a good leader." Not after what I had led myself into, I thought.

"Oh. Um..." I say. It was still kind of an akward moment. I followed a girl out here, she saw me, now we're talking, and I'm running out of things to say.
"Should I just...leave?"

"Only if you want to. I'm not forcing you to or anything." I told her. Secretly, I thought it was quite nice to talk to another human being. Not Cerberus, not myself. It was, nice. Nice in a weird way, though.

I looked down into the creek and hung my feet over, letting them rest in the water. I shivered at the cold water. "Ok, I guess I'll stay then. If it's alright with you."

I give a small smile, it was actually nice to be in the company of another person. "It dosn't matter to me. It's your life, your choice. You can do what you want, regardless of what another person wants you to do. Even if it's against the law, it's your choice." I told her. Wow. Sence when have I been a phlosipher?

"Good point," I smiled. She sounded official and technicall, in a cool way. "So...what now?"

I give a shrug, and start fooling around with the water again. Making a little ball rise out of the creek, do some tricks with it. Let it fly around, and then release it back into the water. "I'm not sure." I said.

Hmm. XD I don't know what to type...
I wished I could do that stuff. Control water, not vines. It must be good, being a Poseidon kid. Being a child of the big three, where as I was the child of a drunkee god who probably wouldn't even say hi to me ever.
