Spanish Lullaby (Angel)

Subject: Spanish Lullaby (Angel) Mon May 30, 2011 12:57 am

With a quick glance out my window I wacthed as the night sky folded over like a speckled blanket. The clock that hung silently in the corner blinked blue : 10: 29. My cabin mates were around and active or dead asleep. I had already hid my bags away and hidden and ready to go.

Walking out the cabin unnoticed I made my way to the border. Once I got there I waited on the hood of a old trunk. I had found a familey link to the tattoo on my arm. I never really tried to remember what happened before I was turned into a wolf. But when I do I find some it gone and others we'll. Lets say it's not amazing.

I heard a few steps to the north and my head shot up and looked up. "Bell?" I whispered into the dark looking for her. All I told her was that we were leaving and to pack plenty. Droping my hand I brushed somthing off the shirt on my chest.

Bellinda trudged through the shadows and the darkness of night. She was curious as to what this was all about... She had done as Likos had asked. She had plenty of bags, almost all of her things, and was heading towards the border. She stopped just before it. This was the first time she had left camp is so long... She wasn't one to leave without a reason. Bellinda had stayed in camp for years, so this step was one she wasn't particularly used to.
Bellinda heaved a sigh and stepped out, heading towards the muscular figure she saw. "Hey Likos.." she said. She set her things on the ground and looked up at him. She was confused, obviously, but she didn't question it. She simply grinned, wiggling her eyebrows mischievously. "Let's go," she whispered.

Likos watched with an ever growing smile as she walked towards him. Grabbing her things and setting it in the back of the truck he opened the door and gestered to her to get in with a mocking smile.
He leaned over and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek and started the engine. Staying silent words of how to explain there trip without saying it to fast or talking to long.
Pulling away from the camp in the old truck, Likos gave a quick glance to the old tattoo on his lower bicep that simply read λύκος. The greek wording was always in a different slent and feel like a different lanuge I happened to know but not recall.

Bellinda followed his gaze to the tattoo on his arm. It read λύκος, which was "wolf" in greek. She frowned, looking up at Likos. "What's this about anyway? I mean...don't get me wrong. I have no problem leaving camp to go on a road trip with my hot, muscular boyfriend...but still, I can't help my curiosity," she said, watching as he drove the old truck. She sat there in silence, quietly wondering what this might be about.
'Romantic getaway? No...that wasn't like Likos...'
'Random, spontaneous road trip? No...he seems to secretive for that..'
She was out of ideas now, either that or she just got too lazy to think of any more possibilities.

Taking a deep breath Likos looked at Bell. He's expression was unreadable. "Well, I found a back tie to my fathers family. I found an adress to my great uncle. We got in touch and he invited me to his home. I thought I'd keep it pretty quite." He smirked at Bell.
Likos kept a lot of details away from Bell on purpose. This wasn't going to be planned out. "I do like your description of me" his deep eyes sparked in the dark night light.

Bellinda slowly nodded her head. "I've never heard anything about your family...but are you sure bringing me along is the best idea?" she pointed out, gently arching her eyebrows. Seeing he was obviously pleased with how she had described him earlier, Bellinda rolled her violet eyes. "Don't get a big head there, buddy..." she said, giving a snort of laughter. A puzzled look slowly overtook Bellinda's face and she turned her gaze to Likos. "Just out of curiosity...what's your description of me?" she asked with an eager smile.

Likos shrugged, I don't remember much about them. Kind of why I want to go so much, to learn about who I was." Looking at Bell I nodded. "Of course I should bring you. You'd be mad if i didn't take you and I don't think id make the trip without you" he stated with a gleam on his face.
When she asked his description of her he smirked. "My beautiful, sexy, short girlfriend." Likos watched her expression for a moment. Looking at the clock as it read 11:02. "there is a good reason we're leaving at this time."

Bellinda grinned, folding her hands behind her head with satisfaction at her description. "You know me all too well," she said, snorting with a bit of laughter. When he mentioned the time, she examined the clock a moment. She sat in silence for a few seconds, simply staring at the clock. She then snapped out of her daze and turned to Likos. "What? We catching a flight or something?" she asked in a joking tone.

Likos smiled and looked at her for a second and gave a single shrug. "Of course, I can't really drive there." The dark haired boy tapped his fingers against the wheel restlessly. Hyper and excited the man was happy to be on the trip.
"Where do you think I'm from?" He asked rising an eyebrow. You could tell he wasnt from s long line of Americans. His eyes watched the road but he listened close to Bells response.

Bellinda was a bit shocked. "Oh...well I suppose a plane ride could be fun.." she muttered. She herself had never ridden in a plane. She had always driven places...never flown. She was scared, simply curious and a bit nervous.
Bellinda studied Likos a bit. She looked at his facial features, his brown hair and soon came to her conclusion. "German-Swiss.." she said with a determined nod. "You've got that rustic German look, but still the softness of Switzerland. Maybe a little Russian..." she said, narrowing her eyes a bit.

Likos looked at her with a laughing smile. "Haha. Not very close. Though you did get the german part right, only just alittle." He wasn't going to tell her, the reason she didn't know everything that was going to happen was because he wanted this to be a surprize and different for her.
Now on a large interstate they were flying down the highway. "It was either by plane or by ship. And I'm sure you'll apracate the plane better."

Bellinda thought for a moment. "French, Italian, Irish, Scottish, Spanish, Swedish...any of those? I'm just naming them now.." she said studying him curiously. When he spoke of a ship, Bellinda shuttered a bit. "Remind me to thank you greatly for not making me go on a ship...I hate boats.." she said, scrunching her nose is disgust at the invention.

Likos chuckled quitly to himself as she rambled off countries of orgin. Her reaction to the thought of a ship was expected to him. "I know you hate them." Likos ran a hand through his curly dark her before grabbing the stirring wheel again. Pressing his lips together in a tight line he seemed to blank out a moment in thought. Then we alittle jolt he returned into the wakeing world. "Oh wow. I shouldn't do that behind the wheel." He joked. A side glance out the side window he seen trees and road and trees and the upcoming of the night city as the came closer and closer to Mannhatten.

Bellinda noticed he was obviously sleepy and she frowned. "Want me to drive? That way you can get some rest?" she asked. Although, thinking about sleep now herself, she began to feel quite drowsy. The daughter of Dionysus stifled a yawn, placing her has over her mouth as she failed to repress it. "I'd be okay to drive...I'm not tired at all," she said, unconvincingly as she began to doze a bit. When she realized she had had quite a long blink, Bellinda's eyes shot open. She turned her purple irises to Likos with a sheepish laugh. "See? Perfectly awake!" she said, yawning again.

Likos shook his head. "Naw... I'm not too sleepy, I could go to sleep if I tried, Insinoma I guess comes with the Nyx thing." Looking down at Bell he smiled. "You should rest though. We going to be there in about 30 mintunes." He said with a gentle smile. He could tell it was going to be a long night and tomarrow was going to have so much excitement he started to consider about just sleeping in for a day before exploring the new country. Yeah that sounded just fine to him.

Bellinda hesitated a moment before she gave a small nod. "Okay...if you say so.." she said. She craned her neck a bit, gently kissing Likos on the cheek. The daughter of Dionysus then curled up in a ball, letting her head lean to the side. "Wake me when we get there," she added, speaking as she yawned sleepily. It wasn't long before Bellinda had drifted off to a deep slumber.

Likos couldn't help the smile on his face as she kissed him and fell asleep. Wondering in his thoughts the young man drove closer and closer to the air port. As lights started speckling the cab of the truck Likos watched the city change and grow thicker and busier. All to he found the air port

Bellinda stirred a bit as the noise of the city grew louder and louder. Her purple eyes flickered open and her vision slowly began to focus on the world around her. It took her a moment to figure out where she was. She glanced around with a slightly perplexed expression, but when she saw Likos, she remembered their little adventure they were taking. "Hey," she said, stretching out her limbs a bit.

Likos pulled into the Airport and parked. Turning the truck off he looked over at Bell and watched as he woke up. Leaning over to her he gently kissed her lips. "Come on" Climbing out of the truck Likos grabbed his to duffle bags and backpack. And waited on Bell grabbing some of her stuff to tote also

Bellinda smiled, yawning sleepily before she climbed out of the truck. She grabbed her bags, walking over towards Likos. "They better give us peanuts on that plane," she said with a goofy grin.

The son of Nyx laughed and started towards the entrance. "Oh I'm sure. Mastro, my uncle, is paying for our plane rid." He had a thoughtful expression on his face. Likos wasn't one who liked depending on others but somehow did it. Coming inside into the crowded midnight flights that ran the airport

Bellinda looked at her necklace. The necklace was bronze with a floral design. She flipped open the lid to reveal the small, pocket watch-like clock that sat inside. Turning her purple gaze to Likos, she tilted her head. "What time is our flight?" she asked, wondering how long they had to wait. Bellinda wasn't a big fan of waiting, so she hoped that they were late and they only had about thirty minutes. But knowing Likos, that probably wasn't the case.

Likos pulled the tickets out of his pockets. "Um... 12:00 so we have about 45 minutes left." He frowned looking around them. A bunch of cranky, mad, tried people walking around being rushed. He never liked big citys like this much anyway."

Likos looked around with the upperclass apartment of the plane. Being one in the morning now and still he was unable to sleep. He looked over at Bell for a moment then looked back out the window. Black skys and light clouds speckled the skies. He leaned the seat all the way back and laid still just resting, closest thing he could get to sleep. He rubbed he thumb over Bell's hand gently.
