Name: Aurora Cook

Her mother is a starving artist that moves throughout the country, trying to find work. She is a bit of a free-spirit and has quite a bit of commitment issues. However, she doesn’t often act like a mother. She considers Aurora to be another friend of hers and she treats her as such, only pulling out her authority as a mom when necessary. 

Physical appearance: Aurora stands at a small 5’4” in height. Her frame is a slender one. Due to her small size, she isn’t very strong and does not have a lot of power when sword fighting.
Aurora has long, golden blonde hair that is curly, smooth and runs down the length of her back. There are tints of a lighter blonde due to the time she spends in the sun. She has moderately tan, rather soft skin and high cheek bones.
Aurora’s eyes are a bright and shining shade of vibrant teal. They are rather oddly colored and are rather intimidating when she is angry or frustrated.
Aurora tends to dress in rather easy to wear clothing like tank tops, t-shirts and jeans. She doesn’t wear a lot of make-up, since she finds it gets in the way.

Personality: Aurora is very kind and caring. She is often nice and friendly to everyone and has been described as being “too nice.” She has a gentle way to speaking and a soft voice, so it is a rare occasion for her to get angry or rude.
Aurora is creative and artistic. She loves to work with her hands and enjoys drawing, painting, and working with other forms of media. Because she is artistic, she can tend to be a bit reckless at times. She often follows her heart, not really giving much thought into somethings.
Aurora is a passionate person. It is not uncommon for her to get swept up in the moment and make a rather large mistake. She is a romantic, often swooning over for a sappy line or a sweet gesture.
History: Aurora was born in New York and traveled around the country with her mother to find museums or people that would buy her mother’s art. Because she traveled around so much, they hardly ever encountered any monsters or threats, which is why Aurora survived so long in the outside world. However, they moved back to New York about a week before Aurora arrived at camp.
After rather odd encounters with various monsters, Aurora began to question her insanity. However, one day Aurora returned home from school to find a piece of paper explaining who she was and giving her the address of Camp Half Blood.
After a rough trip and a bad encounter with a hellhound, Aurora made it to camp. To this day, Aurora is deathly afraid of hellhounds. However, she isn’t only afraid because she was almost killed by one. She is truly afraid because she has watched her once close friend, Mikey Son of Hermes, get killed by a group of them and her brother, Arron son of Apollo, get crushed by one. These traumatic experiences only add to her fear, making it just slightly irrational.
Pets: A pet fox named Dawn. Dawn has shining golden fur and bright teal eyes, giving she and Aurora a rather similar appearance. Dawn and Aurora are able to communicate telepathically.
Aurora found Dawn one day when she was lonely. After nursing the young fox back to health, she tried to let Dawn go off on her own again. But the fox wouldn’t leave. She has been following Aurora around everywhere ever since.

Weapons: Her weapon of choice is a bow and arrow. Her bow is pure white with gold and teal details she painted herself that travel up the sides of the wood. Her arrows always have a signature teal feather tied to the end of them, making it easy to see who’s arrows they are.
Aurora is able to create her bow and arrows out of light. Although the bow and arrows do dwell i her cabin, she can summon them at any time by simply opening the palm of her hand.

Talents: She has a great talent of archery and often does so when she needs to blow off steam. She’s also able to bend light to do her bidding, just as a child of Poseidon can control the water. Aurora, being a Daughter of Apollo, also has a great talent in music. Unlike most of her siblings, she is unable to heal.
Other: When she was young, she found a pair of sunglasses lying on her bed. She had never seen them before, but being a curious child she kept them. They fit her perfectly ever since, growing to fit her whenever they needed. And she learned that they gave her the odd ability to see heat. Even when it’s pitch black, she’s able to see people using heat whenever she has these glasses on, so she always keeps them with her.

Name: Autumn Marie Drawnson
Age/Birthday: 16 years (October 13) 
Gender: Female
Years in camp: About two months 
God parent: Eurus (god of the unlucky east wind, often associated with the season autumn)
Mortal parent: Mayble Drawnson 
Physical appearance: Autumn is tall and slender. She stands at about 5'7" in height. Her build is a thin, petite one and her arms and legs are long and twig-like. She is not muscular at all, however she is rather quick and agile.
Autumn has a thin, heart shaped face with defined cheek bones and prominant dimples. Her skin is smooth, slightly tanned, and soft. She has freckles, but she covers them with make-up. 
Her eyes and a deep shade of grass green with flecks of gold and silver. The rim of her iris's is a bright shade of emerald green that makes her eyes shine like grass covered in morning dew. 
Her hair is long, straight, and is a light shade of strawberry blonde. Her hair has streaks of gold and red, giving her an "autumn-like" appearance. Her hair reaches alittle above half-way down her back. It's also rather thick and can only just lay there. She can't curl her hair because it never holds. 
Personality: Autumn is sweet, friendly, slightly oblivious, kind, a nature lover, and is extremely unlucky. Her friendly an kind disposition makes her well-liked by most. She has a slight sense of humor, but isn't exactly very funny. She is book smart and is a rationally thinking, very intelligent person. However, when it comes to people and relationships with others? She's oblivious.
Autumn loves nature and is a vegetarian. She often can be found sittin outside, no matter what the weather is like. 
Autumn is uncoordinated ad a klutz. She trips over anything and everything ad can be described as unlucky. Although, this is because she has the unlucky east wind following her around. And rather than causing bad luck to others, she has taken the hit of the unluckiness to spare those around her.   
Pets: None
Weapons: Autumn uses a bow and arrow as her weapon. Although, she doesn't fight often. Mostly because the arrow would end up bouncing off of a rock and hitting her in the leg. 
Talents: Autumn, even though she is unlucky, is able to control wind. This is the only time that she's not unlucky. 
Other: Autumn's fatal flaw is innocence. She believes the best of everyone and often gets into trouble for trusting so easily.

Name: Landan Matzie (goes by Matzie)
Age/birthday: 17 years (August 14)
Gender: Male
Years in camp: 4 years 
God parent: Hephaestus
Mortal parent: Helen Matzie
Physical appearance: Matzie is tall, being around an above average 5'10" in height. His hair is shaggy, a dark shade of brown and it's slightly curly. His hair hangs a bit in his deep, brown eyes that are set under slightly bushy eyebrows. His skin is tanned and calloused from working with fire and metal. 
Matzie's hands and feet are rather large and people often comment on them. He used to find it irritating, but he's just stopped caring now. 
Matzie is rather muscular (after four years of training). However, it isn't easy for him to stay as built as he is. When Matzie came to camp, he was rather scrawny. And after working hard everyday, he has built up his muscles. And he continues to work to keep his strength.
Matzie has burns up and down his arms and back. This happened when he was young and was unaware of how to control his abilities. After the years, he's built up a high tollerance for fire and heat.    
Personality: Although Matzie seems rather rough, calloused and unreachable he really isn't. Matzie has a kind heart, a goofy sense of humor, and cares deeply for those he puts his trust in. 
Matzie tends to wear his heart on his sleeve. He has had it broken many times, which is why he is hesitant about who he trusts.
Matzie has a strong, couragous heart and mind. He often tries to help and assist even if he is greatly outmatched. Although he doesn't seem like he has a temper, once he gets angry his frustration rises until his temper is uncontrollable. If he gets this angry, Matzie will often beat himself up for days afterwards because of the out outbursts he tries to desperately to control. 
Pets: Matzie has a faithful german Shepherd names Lyon. Lyon has light brown, black and gray, shaggy fur with piercing gray eyes. Lyon can understand what Matzie says and also has the odd ability to not feel heat. That's why Lyon is often helping Matzie when working with fire.  
Weapons: A doubled edged, celestial bronze sword with rubies along the base of the blade, a black hilt, and the word "Forger" on the side in acient Greek. Forger, when it's not a sword, is a sword-like pendant on a necklace he keeps hidden in his shirt. 
Matzie also has many daggers that are disguised as a butterfly knife. Each choice of blade is a dagger. He keeps this nameless weapon in his pocket. 
Talents: Matzie isn't musical, artistic, or very smart either. The only talents he has are located somewhere within the mechanics and metal working area. 
Matzie is able to control fire. However, he has learned that fire spreads on its own and can't always be tamed. Matzie had built up a strong tollerance for heat. He feels the heat, but it doesn't hurt him at all. However, this tollerance does have a limit. He just hasn't found the limit yet. 
Other: Hardly anyone actually calls him Landan. The rest call him by his last name and are often confused when someone doesn't call him Matzie but Landan instead.

Name: Johnny Macbeth O’Neil
Age: About three years.
Birthday: Born on September 12
Gender: Male
Years in Camp: His whole life, he’s been there since he was born.
God Parent: Son of a Daughter of Zeus and a Son of Euterpe
Physical Appearance: Johnny has a sweet, round face, chubby cheeks and a sweet, baby smile. His eyes are a bright shade of blue, like both of his parents. His hair is red, like his mother’s, with hints of blonde, like his father. He’s the normal size for a new born and is very healthy.
Personality: Johnny, even though he is young, has a very happy-go-lucky personality. He loves to laugh, play and is very friendly. He doesn’t cry very often, which is odd for a baby. He greatly enjoys being around others and laughs at almost anything.
Johnny can be described as a “sweetie-pie”. His greatest enjoyment is laughing and making others laugh. He loves to meet new people and loves making them happy. This is why he’s loved by almost everyone. Johnny is hardly ever mean and doesn’t have much of a temper. However, because he automatically trusts everyone and instantly thinks they are is friend, he can be described as innocent and naive. (That is his fatal flaw. And his innocence is often what gets him into trouble.)

Weapons: None yet, he’s far too young.
Talents: Johnny has a rather..odd combination of powers and abilities. He is able to control lightning, although his specialty is storms. Unlike his mother, Johnny has no control over the wind and what it does. (Which is because he is not a full Zeus child.) Johnny is also able to play any instrument, like his father. However, he has to be ale to read the music for it to be able to play the music. If he can’t read the music, then he can’t play it. Johnny also has his own, unique ability. He is able to basically cheer anybody up. (this is not a magical ability though) Johnny has a very infectious laugh and smile and loves to cheer people up and make them laugh.
Because of this, he’s often able to simply make people happy.
Others: Johnny was named after the song “Johnny B. Goode”. (Which is the song that his father made his mother sing when they met.)

Name: Penelope Yargin
Age/birthday: 14 years. (January 1)
Gender: Female
Years in Camp: 7 years.
God Parent: Zeus
Mortal Parent: Elizabeth Yargin. Penelope’s mother is the famous, Broadway actress. Penelope often goes to see her mother’s shows whenever they are showing in New York.
Although Elizabeth is well known for her performances, she and Penelope still often lived pay check to pay check. However, that’s the life of an actress and performer for you. Elizabeth is rather girly and also a bit pushy. She and Penelope often butt heads about subjects that can span from large issues, or small disagreements.
Physical Appearance: Penelope stands at about 5’7” and has a curvy figure. She is not small and petite like some, and she is also not very built or muscular. She is of average weight for her height, of not slightly under. Her face is round with sweet chubby cheeks, dimples and freckles along her nose. Her hair is a naturally bright shade of red. It is often frizzy in the humidity and reaches to about her shoulders.
Penelope’s eyes are a stormy shade of blue. When she is angry or feels strongly about something, they flash like bolts of lightning. Her eyes are almond shaped, slightly squinty, and are framed by long eyelashes. Penelope tends to wear quite a bit of make-up, enjoying the intimidation it seems to bring.
Penelope is often wearing a goofy grin. Because of her quirky and light-hearted way of life. However, on rare occasions, she will lose her grin and arched eyebrow and will put on a serious face. Although, this only occurs in times when it is necessary.
Penelope is often rather critical of herself. She dislikes her red hair and openly makes cracks that usually are along the lines of saying that it looks like she was “dropped into a bucket of tomato juice”.
Personality: Penelope is witty, sarcastic, smart, a rational thinker, and has quite a temper. She is known for her sarcastic cracks and witty jokes and is often the one to break awkwardness in most situations. Penelope is a rational thinker, she looks at the logical side of things and bases her conclusions on those facts. She is often unable to see the right side of opinions formed by those who did not think things through thoroughly. Because of her rational way of thinking, she is often unable to make a choice on a whim. However, this is not always the case. She often talks herself in or out of things in a quick moment, since her mind works quickly.
Penelope has had quite a past due to her temper. Because of her lineage and who her father is, she naturally has a fiery personality and a quick temper. However, she tries as hard as she can to control her emotions and succeeds most of the time. However, there are those few times where she is unable to control and she lashes out randomly, often injuring her victims. When this happens, she often goes into a sort of depression due to her past experiences with her temper.
History: Penelope was born in New York in 1996 on New Years day. She and her mother lived in New York for most of her life. Penelope was a happy-go-lucky child and was rather outgoing towards everyone. Back then, she did not try to control her emotions. It was not uncommon for her temper to flare or for her to suddenly get extremely passionate about a certain subject. However, that all changed one day.
Penelope was unaware of who she really was. She simply assumed she was a normal six year old living with her mom and her mom’s new step-father. However, this step-father often verbally abused Penelope and was rather rude to her. However, he kept it hidden from Penelope’s mother. And Penelope didn’t want to say anything because she saw just how happy her mother was. That was until the day that Joe took it just a bit too far. He hit Penelope, leaving quick a bruise of her cheek. Penelope was enraged. And her Zeus inherited powers of lightning flared. Joe was struck by a bolt of bright, blue lightning and was instantly killed. The lightning, in turn, set the apartment they lived in on fire. Penelope felt horrible. From that moment on she vowed to control her temper.
Penelope came to camp when she was seven, after a very odd, traumatic experience during one of her mother’s shows. Penelope was attacked by a manticore and was almost killed. During that time, she met Xanthus, her faithful falcon companion. She was almost killed and during the attack she blacked out.
Penelope woke up days later in the camp’s infirmary, unaware of how exactly she got there or where she was. She has been there ever since.
After years of going through rough relationships with boys, Penelope met Wesley O’Neil, son of Euterpe and rockstar Stone. After a rather interesting meeting experience, scaring her hands on a piece of coral, and going out together, they fell in love.
Penelope found out she was pregnant with Welsey’s son. She had the baby, named Johnny, in a hospital in New York. After returning to camp, she and Wesley got engaged to be married.
Pets: A falcon named Xanthus. He has brown and beige feathers and he shares the same stormy blue eye color that Penelope has. She and Xanthus have an emotional connection. He senses when she needs him and swoops down to assist her. Even though he has talons, he has learned how to keep them from entering Penelope’s flesh.
Weapons: She has her electric sword. It is fused with electrical charges so it gives a powerful shock to anyone who feels its sting.
Penelope often uses lightning as her weapon, since it’s simple easier to use.
Penelope also carries around a worn out, black bag. It is bottomless and has the weight of a normal bag. She carries everything with her in there and often steps inside of it to retrieve something.
Talents: Like most Zeus kids, she is able to control lightning. However, she also has the power of wind. She is able to control it as long as there is at least a breeze. She is still unable to take still air and control it, the wind has to be moving.
Others: She greatly enjoys reading and always has a book with her, no matter what.

Name: Mary-Lu Bellinda Maarx (But she goes by Bellinda or Bell)
Age/birthday: 16 years old (November 27)
Gender: Female
Years in Camp: First year. She’s been at camp for about a month so far.
God Parent: Dionysus
Mortal Parent: Ginger Maarx
Physical Appearance: Bellinda stands at about 5’1” in height (she gets her height from her father). She only weighs about 90 lbs, because of her small height. Bell had shortly cropped, bleached blonde hair. The tips of her swoop bangs that hang a bit in her eyes are purple and crimson. It’s as though they were dipped in wine. Her eyes are a striking shade of purple, much like her dyed hair. Her skin is pale and she has a piercing on her upper lip. It’s a small silver stud that she keeps in most of the time. Bell has an oval shaped face and her cheek bones aren’t very noticeable. This gives her a rather sweet appearance, as do her rosy cheeks.
Bell tends to wear a lot of makeup to try and detract from her eye color. She enjoys harsh looks and purple eye shadows. Her hair is feathery, soft and straight and it only reaches a little past her ears. (She cuts it herself) Bell has an hour glass figure, however, because she’s so tiny her curves are not very noticeable.
Bell tends to wear rather dark colored clothing. She loves the colors black and white and enjoys wearing colors like that. She hates wearing shorts and dresses and other “girly” clothing items. She tends to wear ripped skinny jeans, even when it’s warm out.
Personality: Bellinda is quirky, sarcastic, outgoing, artistic, and a bit rude at times. She loves to draw, write, and play her electric guitar (which she has named George) Bell has a bit of a quirky personality and is very outgoing most of the time. She has a sarcastic sense of humor and isn’t one for cracking “punch-line jokes”. She is rather blunt and can be rude whenever she gets angry. She doesn’t ever think before she acts, so she is rather impulsive. Often, she seems as though she is drunk. And at times...she is. But usually, she isn’t drunk...just hyper and odd.
Bell has a great talent for basically all things artistic. She draws, paints, writes poetry, songs and short stories, plays her electric guitar and also sings in her free time.
When Bellinda gets angry or upset she lashes out with rude remarks and harsh words. It’s rather mean to those she’s snapping at. However, she never actually means most of the things she says. But, because of her short temper and rude, sarcastic remarks, she has often lost friends throughout her life. But...she always says that she doesn’t care about these loses. However, secretly she is often hurt by the choice of her friends to leave her and blames herself for her temper.
Pets: Bellinda had a horse back at her home named Whisky. But Paint stayed behind. However, Bell has contemplated over her month at Camp Half-Blood about bringing Whisky there and keeping him in the horse stables.
Weapons: Bell’s weapons of choice are her celestial bronze daggers. She has a total of four. When they are not daggers they are the four, wine colored beads on her necklace. She simply clutches her necklace and all four appear in her hand. She uses them for close combat and she’s also been working on throwing her daggers. The daggers always return as beads around her neck when she loses them or throws them somewhere. She has no name for her daggers, she finds names unimportant.
Talents: Bell has realized she has quite a natural talent for dagger fighting and simply hand-to-hand combat in general. However, because she never thinks things through, she is not the best at battle strategy and planning out her attacks. And this impulsive behavior is often what gets her into trouble.
Bell is also able to control the movement of grape vines. She has learned she has the ability to grow grape vines and also strawberry vines, however, she has not learned how to master this talent yet. Because she has not mastered the art of growing the vines, she keeps a coil of them with her most of the time. She uses the vines like a whip or like a rope of some kind.
Others: Bellinda’s real name is Mary-Lu. And she finds her name to be stupid and girly. So, she never tells anyone her actual name. She simply calls herself Bellinda and sometimes goes by Bell, since it’s shorter and easier.
