Brief History: Adara was born and raised by her Mortal family in Macedonia. She came from a wealthy family who was happy with their life and very involved in everyone's business, including Adara's. She felt oppressed by her parents and always felt like they treated her differently than her brother Pavlo.
When she was five years old, she would skip down the roads, and the plants withering by the curb would perk and dance in her presence. Being young, she noticed nothing, but the city was wary of her and her abilities. Her mother, Gabriella, was worried about her daughter and her talents with crops. For instance, when her class took a trip to the corn fields, the stalks parted for her as she passed through. This act lead her parents to remove her from the elementary school in favor of home–schooling.
Matthias decided that he needed to inform Adara on who was her real mother. Gabriella already knew, thanks to a box of old letters in Mattias's desk drawer. Pavlo began to gate his sister upon finding out she wasn't really his sister. He kept his mouth shut though. No one at school was to know. Adara didn't believe her father. She thought he was lying to her, the gods weren't real. They couldn't be. But little by little, as her talents began to show more and more, she gave in and confronted her father about how to handle this.
He suggested that the daughter of Demeter be sent away, so no word spread out. He told her to go away, and all record of her in the city would be erased.
Adara cried for days. The eleven year old couldn't leave her family. Even though her family wasn't completely her family, she loved them to much to let go. With a lot of effort though, she was sent away to Camp halfblood to learn more about herself and her mother.
Adara still sends letters back home, and rarely receives a rushed note back. She knows they did what they did to protect her, and she is happy at camp. She now doesn't have to be constantly checking her back or felling self consious. Now she can be herself through and through.

Physical Appearance: Adara has wavy golden hair and tanned skin. She has bright grey–green eyes that are big and observant. She is average height, even a little short, with un–freckled skin that is sun kissed perfectly. She has wavy hair like her father, and always wears it down.

Personality: Adara is sweet and good with plants. She is happy–go–lucky, but cautious around strangers. She is friendly and approachable, but serious when need be. She is dependable and good at keeping secrets. She loves to garden and farm.

Fatal Flaw: Her fatal flaw is a feeling of inferiority. she always puts other needs before her own and feels like she is inferior to others
