If they knew how misery loved me
A hyper four-year-old Mckenna spun around in circles as her father, Calvin held her tiny hand. She let out a giggle as her purple floral dress spun around her. Calvin picked her up and walked into the kitchen. There was a batch of peanut butter cookies in the oven and a batch of chocolate chip sitting on the counter. "Daddy! Spin me! Spin, spin, spin!" Mckenna poked her fathers cheek repeatedly until he put her down and spun her again. The timer on the oven went off, releasing an annoying, ear-piercing beep. Mckenna's hands smacked over her ears and looked at her dad. He chuckled and walked over to oven, putting on the mit and taking out the creamy cookies.
After having way more cookies then Mckenna probably should have consumed, they both plopped down on the black, leather sofa in the living room and watched The Lion King. It was a typical weekend for the two. Mckenna giggled at the movie and Calvin smiled. Mckenna was such a smart kid. Calvin was glad she was his daughter.
