"Oh," I said quietly. "Well, that's okay. I mean, there are plenty of boys around here," I said. "So, what's camp like? Are there any downsides? Other than dyslexia and ADHD, of course." I asked Demitri. I was playing with my hair. I do that whenever I'm in love. I know Lex is my half-sibling, but still. He was hot. Then he walked over towards me.
I walked over to Jazzie. "Hey, I'm Lex Smith. I'm a son of Apollo, one of your half-siblings," I said. Maybe even one of your real siblings, I thought. "So, when we finish with the sing along, do you think that I could show you around Cabin 7?" I asked.
I started blushing. Then I slapped myself, trying to make myself stop. Lex looked at me weird. "Sorry. I do that sometimes." I said, not trying to catch people's attention. "Sure you can!" I said, sounding a bit too excited. I knew I had spent a few years with an Apollo boy, most probably my brother. Lex seemed a lot like me. Maybe he was the guy I was looking for. I waited for Lex to answer.
"'Kay. Just holler when you're ready to go to the cabin. I'll be over there," I said, pointing at a log next to the fire. I went back to my guitar and started strumming for Claire, singing along with the notes I was playing.
