Newly Claimed Daughter of the Sea God

I opened the door and looked around the room, hesitant. It seemed so much smaller than the over-crowded Hermes cabin. Percy sat on his bunk, listening to music from his iPod.
"Percy?" I asked hesitantly. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited about being claimed, but will my other half-brothers and sisters accept me, or disown me? Percy looked over at me and smiled, pointing to the bunk above his. "You can have that one, Gracie. I heard you like the top best." He grinned, and for a second, I caught my breath, he looked so much like our Dad.

I walked over to it, avoiding other people's items, and placed my bag on the bunk. It was hot outside, but inside the cabin, it was fresh and breezey, like a sea wave had washed over you.
"You can pretty much do whatever you want. We only do stuff together for breakfast, lunch, and supper," Percy informed me.
"Wow- that's sweet! So, can I go to the sword arena?" I asked with a gleam in my eye. Percy nodded, returning his attention to his iPod. Taking off my shoes and rolling my jean shorts up some more, I fingered my ring to make sure it was there, and left the cabin for the arena.

Saphé whined from outside the door. I groaned, sliding off my bunk, hitting the floor with a thud, and walking over to open it and let her in. My blue Dobie turned herself inside out with her pleasure to see me, and I couldn't help but smile.
"Hey girl," I laughed, patting her affectionately on the head. I walked over to my stuff and got her crate together and put her doggy bed in it, putting it right next to my bunk.
"There you go," I invited, pointing to it. She smiled happily at me -yes, dogs CAN smile, but you have to know what to look for- and curled up in it.

I walked into the Poseidon Cabin after quite a long morning. I noticed a girl and Percy in the cabin. "Oh, hello" I said with a smile.

Kind of sweating my butt off I walked into my cabin for some fresh sea air and noticed a new girl in the cabin. "Hey." I said.

I walk in from my last night in the Hermes cabin and see a lot of people in the cabin, including Percy, listening to an i-pod. "You have an i-pod, too?" I complain."Everyone in my family has one except me! ... ummmmm.... are there any bunks left?"I said, trying not to sound rude. Percy nodded and pointed to one. "Thanks!" I said. I put my duffel bag down and fish out some money. "Hey,you guys want to head over to the camp store? It's on me, and I heard they have some tridents on sale!" Everyone cheered and followed me out the door.
OOC Is there any thing else in the camp store?
BIC We made our way to the tridents and paid for them at the front desk. "That'll be 15 drachma's" the cashier said. I paid the money, and we all left. Percy spotted Clarisse from the Ares cabin and hurried back to cabin three. Once we were in the cabin, Percy started sword fighting with another boy. They were pretty good, but then the dinner conch shell sounded. We lined up by senority like the other cabins, so I was last. Did I mention I hate being last? We got to the Poseidon table(which was now kinda filled up) and sat down. Nymphs served us peperoni pizza with extra cheese and mushrooms.I asked my soda goblet for straw-berry soda.I walked over the fire and scraped in a slice of pizza.

After dinner, we went to the sing-a-long at the campfire and roated marshmellows for s'mores.

OOC Does anyone know any camp fire songs?
