Chris bit his lip before nodding, deciding to do just that. He had a bad feeling suddenly in his gut yet for some strange reason, he ignored it, thinking it was just hunger. He wasn't even that hungry, he just liked to eat excessivly. What? It wasn't as if he would get very fat, seeing as he was a son of Aphrodite. It was extremely hard to look bad, unless he tried dangerously hard. Which he didn't.

Chris heard a growl from the aisle to his right and froze for a slight second, not having time to run before the whole wall of shelves was barrelled over, half of it landing on him. Thankfully, he had been able to twist out of position before it had collapsed on him and Sophia had just been out of range.

Chris pushed the 'rubble' off him, quickly rolling to the right just before the Hell-hounds teeth snapped at where he had just been laying. Gods, that was too close. The Demigod reached into his pocket, pulling out his small celestial bronze dagger and taking a swipe at the hound. He missed and this seemed to make the beast more angry and pissed.

"Run! Don't just stand there! Run!" Chris screamed at Sophia, trying to get her out of this damn supermarket and to safety. However, whilst Chris had been distracted with yelling at his half-sister, the Hell-hound had charged at him, sending him flying through the air backwards and landing painfully on his back, his vision blurring and he became incapable of his sight.

Chris rubbed his eyes, slowly getting his vision back. He saw the hell-hound attack Sophia yet miss, and he knew that he had to get to his feet. He couldn't move, however. He was just so tired. All he wanted to do was sleep, for Christ's sake. Couldn't he be given that at least?

Touching the top of his forehead, Chris found his hair sticky and matted with blood and sweat. He knnew he had to get up. To save Sophia, because she was going to get ripped to shreds if she stayed there. He didn't know how long her Charmspeak would be able to last, but he didn't wish to hang around long enough to find out. Anyway, imagine if Sophia died. He would be without his big sister, who he loved as much as he did his girlfriend...but not in the same way because they would...weird. Plus, one of his best-friends would be without the love of his life. Chris haf to do something.

He clambered to his feet, swaying slightly before reaching forward, his hand clamping around his half-sister's wrist so much that it would no doubtedly leave bruises, yet that wasn't highest on his list of priorities right now. What was, though, was getting both of their ass' out of there. So that's what Chris did. He broke into a sprint, grabbing some baby formula and diapers for Kyle in one hand, dragging Sophia behind him with the other.

Chris rolled his eyes as Sophia stopped running, muttering under his breath; "Oh, stop being such an old woman." He whipped his head back in the direction of where they had come from. Should they go back? What if the hell-hound followed them? Meh, it probably wasn't even that clever.

Grabbing Sophia's hand again, he pulled her into a run back where her apartment was. Realising that she was going to take too long, Chris pulled her onto his back, his hands propping her up under her thighs as he ran, trying not the lose his balance.

He hated being a Demigod, sometimes. He had to carry around heavy things - even though Sophia wasn't exactly heavy - and he had to fight beasts, and he wasn't allowed off camp a lot. The good parts; he wws amazingly good-looking and he felt as if he had a family at camp so most of the time it was worth it. Right now though, it wasn't.

Chris got to her apartment, dropping Sophia lightly to her feet before throwing all his weight at the door, trying to open it. He heard the bolt open on the other side and Kyle appeared, looking worried immediatly.

"Are you alright?" Kyle asked.

Chris, who was panting and finding it hard to breathe, nodded. "Yeah man, I'm-oh...you talking to her. Love you too, bro." Chris rolled his eyes and Kyle pulled Sophia into a hug straight away, completely blanking him.

Biting his lip, Kyle raised his eyebrows down at Sophia for a minute before smiling, kissing her lightly on her lips. “Do you think that that was a wise decision? Seeing as you have only just given birth.” Kyle said with a small, amused smile.

He turned away anyway, to close the door behind the two. Kyle saw that Chris had made himself at home on their couch, covered in sweat and still gasping, like Sophia. Alex started to cry from the other room and Kyle went to him, picking him up in his strong arms and rocking him back and forth until he was quiet.

“Thanks, guys. He only just-why are you bleeding?!” Kyle noticed the blood staining the side of her shirt and his eyes widened. Alex’s tiny hands started to try and grab Kyle’s shirt so Kyle give him his finger, so Alex’s hand could wrap around it. Kyle’s hazel eyes gleamed with worry, and he looked from Chris to Sophia quickly before remaining his gaze on Sophia, wanting her to tell him what was wrong. He had to know these things. Alex was he only thing that was stopping him from running over to Sophia and shouting at her to tell him what was up.

Kyle thought for a moment before nodding, assuming that she was telling the truth. He knew that she would never lie to him, so he didn't doubt her. Alex had started to suck on Kyle's index finger, but Kyle didn't mind. Instead, he ran his thumb along Alex's small cheek, his smile wide.

He sat on the same couch that Sophia was lying on, leaning down to kiss her on the lips. This didn't last long, however, because soon Alex was hitting Kyle's chest and making baby noises in complaint. Laughing, Kyle pulled away.

"Look, I have to go. See you." Chris said uneasily before running out of the apartnent, slamming the door behind him.

Kyle frowned, wondering why Chris was in such a rush but shrugged it off. He winced at the look at Sophia's waist. "Take a shower, babe. Wash it off."

Kyle blinled when Sophia told him what had actually got her and Alex started to cry. Whoa. They had an all-seeing baby because right then, Kyle knew that a monster was close. However, a little too close because soon, the front door was knocked down and a massive hellhound burst in.

Grabbing Sophia's arm, he pulled her to his feet quickly and handed Alex to her, just before the hellhound attacked him, his teeth nipping at his back. Thankfully, he wasn't hurt. Kyle turned, running quickly to the kitchen sink and turning on the taps, lettinng the cold water run. The hellhound was slowly advancing on to him, yet Kyle had enough time to turn the water into millions and millions of ice-shards, firing them all at once at the beast.

Obviously, this wouldn't kill the hellhound but it did distract it enough for Kyle to nimbly jump over the marble counter, over to where the bags were. He pulled out a sword, about to kill the hellhound when the hellhound jumped at him, pinning him down on the ground. Kyle slid the sword along the floor to Sophia, trying to avoid the beast's teeth as he tried to bite Kyle.
