Niall walks up the hill to Thalia's tree, perfusly typing on a I-Phone. He knew, it wasn't the safest idea, but he wasn't leaving camp with it still on. He would turn it off, before they left. Anyways, reaching the top of the hill, he looks around looking for Kate. He then looks back down at the phone, he was trying to plan their date. So far he figured, dinner, and maybe just hanging out in New York City. Niall sighs, and turns off the phone, putting it into his pocket.

He looks down at his outfit, hoping he looked nice. He didn't want to be dressed to poorly, but he didn't have a good idea of what, you wear on a date.

I clicked on my necklace, turning to look at myself in the mirror. I think I looked pretty. I hoped. I had straightened my hair. I hoped it would stay that way. It wasn't curly, but it wasn't perfectly straight so I did my best to make it as straight as possible. My highlights were orange, the color for excited which didn't look to good with my blond hair, but it was my mood. I was so incredibly jumpy. I had pink lipstick on but you could only tell if you looked close. It was sparkly. Then there was my outfit. I couldn't tell if it was too much or too little. I hoped it was okay. I reached for my Iris phone, but remembered I had given it to my cousin when he went on the quest. I gulped. I knew I was probably late anyway. I was still in the Hera cabin. I took a deep breath and began to head to Thalia's pine.

I walked up the hill and saw Niall waiting for me at the top. I sped up my pace. "Hey!" I called, coming to a stop in front of him. "Ready!"

Niall looks up, and sees Kate. He grins widely, she looked beautiful. He stands there grinning like an idiot,his mouth basicly hanging open. After a few minuets he realizes he looks stupid. He closes his mouth and blushes. "Gosh you look beautiful!"he says to her. He then walks over to her, and holds out his arm.

"Ready to go?"he asks her. He had thought of an idea, of what to do. He grins lightly, and looks at her. He then looks down at his outfit. She looked alot nicer than he did.

I kissed him lightly on the cheek, and looped my arm in his. "Are you kidding," I said, pulling my jacket back up on my shoulder. "I look bad." I wanted to say I looked like a slut but I thought that would kind of ruin it. I then nodded at his second question and began to walk out of the camp boundaries. I began to let him lead, not exactly sure where we were going in the first place.

Niall smiles widely at her. "You do look beautiful"she says softly. He grabs her arm, and leads her down the hill, over to a waiting taxi. He opens the door, for her to get in. When they are in the car, he says, "Times Square". The Driver, then starts driving.

I got in the taxi, and it wasn't exactly the nicest smell. Popcorn, bubble gum, feet. Lots of feet. I grimaced a bit but tried to ignore it, turning my attention back to Niall. I leaned my head on his shoulder as the taxi began to move. Times Square? I began to wonder what he had planned, but I didn't ask. I wanted it to be a surprise. It felt nice having my head on his shoulder, knowing there was someone next to me who cared. I just felt...better.

Niall smiles, and puts his arm around Kate. He was pretty excited about their date. His smile starts to fade, as he looks around the taxi. It looked disgusting, and not to mention it smelled, badly. He looks back over at Kate, and slowly he starts to smile again. It was impossible not to smile when she was around.

I closed my eyes as he put his arm around me, feeling much warmer. I wrapped my arm around him until I felt the taxi come to a stop at Times Square. I opened my eyes and sat up, paying the driver a wad of cash. "Thanks!" I said, quickly. "Keep the change!" I popped open Niall's door and pushed to get out faster and followed behind him. I shut the door as the taxi drove away. "Don't worry about it, I'm loaded," I chuckled. Really, I just wanted to get out of that taxi. IT was the least romantic place for the most romantic moment they had so far.

Niall smiles, and steps out of the cab. "You didn't have to do that"he says to Kate. He then looks around and smiles, as he takes in the fresh air. It was really beautiful, and nice here. He then looks back at Kate, still smiling. "Are you ready?"he asks her.

I breathed deeply enjoying the change in scenery. I nodded. I began to wonder what we were going to do. Were we just going to wander around Times Square? If so, it would be fine by me as long as he stayed by my side. I took his hand. "Lead on macho man," I chuckled.

Niall smiles at Kate, and takes her hand. He laughs to himself, and starts to walk. Honestly, just wondering around Times Square, would be fine by its self, but he felt they should do something else. "Okay, I hope you have fun"he says to her. He then walks of leading her in the direction, of the Rockefeller Center, but that doesn't exactly mean thats where their going.

I followed him happily. The suspense to see what we were going to do was killing me. I kept a firm grip on his hand as he began to walk faster, as I didn't want to be left too far behind in a crowded area like this. I followed him as we began to walk toward a huge building. I had lived in New York for a whole long time and I new this building and about every other. I held onto Niall as we walked, avoiding people, sometimes bumping shoulders and getting cussed at.

After a few minuets of walking, the reach their destination. The Rockafeller Center. Niall smiles lightly, and leads Kate up to the enterance, where he pays to get in. He then leads her towards the ice skating rink. He stops, and looks at her. "I hope you dont hate, ice skating"he says softly.

I followed closely behind him and saw the ice skating rink. My eyes widened and a smile broke across my face. He had picked the most romantic thing to do. I almost squealed. "Oh my god!" I said, hugging him tightly. "I LOVE ice skating!" I laughed. I followed him and got our skates. I sat on a bench and laced mine up tightly. When I was finished, I looked up at him, waiting. This was going to be a blast, I hoped. My highlights turned orange again which was excited.

Niall chuckles, as he takes his skates and sits down. He takes of his shoes, and puts on the skates and laces them up. "I'm glad you like it."he says to her. Niall then stands up, and offers her his hand. He hadn't been skating for a while, he hoped he wasn't too rusty. That would most likely mean trouble.

I laughed, taking his hand in mine as we stepped onto the ice. I wanted him to hug me, to warm me. I wasn't dressed very well for this and it was really cold on the ice. "Like it? I love it!" I replied as we began to slowly make our way forward. My dad had gotten me put into figure skating lessons a few years back so I was pretty good, but I wondered about him so I didn't go at a very fast pace.

Niall looks down at Kate, and notices that she looks cold. He wraps his arm around her, pulling her closer to him. He slowly recoils his arm, and starts to take off his jacket. He then hands it to Kate and says,"Here, take this."Niall then smiles and looks at her. "Well, I'm very glad."

"Oh, a gentlemen! Thank you," I joked as I pulled on the jacket, instantly warming me up. I skated over and plucked a single kiss on his cheek as a thank you, and took his hand again after his jacket was straight. I was impressed that he was able to maintain balance as he had put his arm around me cause gods know I am so clumsy I would have probably accidentally hit him with my foot.

Niall grins, his cheeks turning a slight rosy color. It was pretty cold, out today, but not too cold. "Why thank you"he says to her. Niall smiles, as he starts to skate. So far, this had been fun. He just hoped nothing bad happened.

I skated along decently, happy that I wasn't one of those people barely shuffling forward or at least not gripping the edge. I began sniffling, the cold air affecting me. I skated, and the necklace I kept flashed a bright pink color as well as my highlights. I smiled, looking over at Niall. "Hurry slowpoke!" I giggled, skating in front of him.

Niall grins, and skates after Kate. She was a lot faster than him. "No fair, slow down!"he calls after her. The boy, then skates after her. Soon he manages to catch up with her. He wraps his arms around her, as he skates.

I smiled, feeling his arms around me. I slowed to his pace so that he would stay by me. "After this," I said, finally breaking the silence. "Would you like to get dinner somewhere? It's on me," I said, looking up at him. Like I had said before, I was loaded but I wasn't sure he knew that quite clearly.

Niall looks down at her and smiles. Dinner? That sounded nice, he was planning on dinner, but he had know idea, of what he was going to do, so he felt relived. He grins widely and says,"Sure!"Niall then laughs and takes of skating ahead of her.
