Meeting new people

Madeline was walking past the lake, as she does for some peace, when she spoted someone sitting at the lake. "Hiya." She said, stopping to talk to him.

Maddie walks over to the boy, and sits next to him, folding her legs. "I'm Madeline, daughter of Zeus." She said, holding out her hand to shake his.

Maddie smiles. "Cool," she started, "a half-brother."

Maddie laughed a bit. "Nice meeting you too." She said.

Madeline looked up at the sky to see the cloud. "Wow." She said in amazement.

Madeline thought for a moment. "She's nice, I guess. But I only see her on some holidays." Madeline said.

Madeline felt guilt filling her from her comments. "Sorry for your loss." She said.

Madeline still had some guilt in her stomach. Moving to a different topic, Madeline asked, "How long have you been at camp?"

"So, your familiar with these parts?" She asked, even though she has been there longer.

Madeline thinks for a moment. "Well, I like sitting under the pine tree. Meeting new people and watching monsters struggle into the camp." She says, laughing a tad.
