I walked the beaches of Miami, looking for a good place to set up my towel and other things. Beaches wern't usually my place to hang out, seeing as I preferred cold places, but i figured if I got too warm I could chill the air around me. A few of my close friends, not that I had many, had commented on my pale skin, so I figured out a way to sneak off to Miami for break.
I pushed my sunglesses up my nose, and found the perfect spot. It wasn't in the sun, and wasn't quite in shade. It was just the perfect spot. For me at least.

I laid out my towel, and sat down, near the edge of the shoreline. I put on my sunglasses and took off my shirt. Laying back, I felt kind of lonely. It was weird not being at the beach with friends. Especially so far from Camp.

I swam to the surface of the ocean. I gasped for air once my head broke the surface. Being a grease monkey had taken its toll on my social life and camp life. I had closed shop for the weekend and rode my way south on my motorbike to wash the troubles back home away.

I walked down to the beach just glad to be in Miami. "Ah Miami Beach, FL, No offence to the people who found Camp Half-Blood but Miami Beach beats Long Island Sound anytime!" I exclaimed. I got the jet ski out and just got it in the water, started it up, and just got out into the ocean.

I was beginning to get warm in my shady sunny spot, so I igured I would go into the water to cool off. I was a short walk down to the water, but still, I put on a show for who ever was watching me. I knew people would watch me, I mean, I was beautiful. My sunglasses were still on my face so I was able to analyze people without my knowing. The fat guy who needed to put on a shirt, those weird girls who looked like twigs, you name it, I saw it. I just couldn't help as a scowl came across my face, but I quickly replaced it with a smile.
As I got into the water, I started to let little bits of winter flow into the water around me, chilling it to my liking. There were people swimming, diving, and doing all things imaginable. Even people on jet skis, who I hoped wouldn't run me over. If they happened to though, I might just freeze the engine. That would surely ruin their day at the beach.

I swan to shore as the jet skies made their way out to the water and dragged myself to my towel. I felt the relaxed heat of the sun and away from the troubles of work. Slowly I started to drift off to sleep. absent-mindedly my open hand flared to life and caught fire.

I look out back to the shore and saw Ever and Axl laying there also a lot of hotties in their bikinies so I decided to the something to impress them. I rode close to the shore and did a flip on the jet ski. "WOOHOO!!!!" I winked at the girls and rode off back to where my friends were. I layed on my towel and three of those girls walked over smilin. "Helloooo Ladies!"

I watched as Demitri and Axl acted llike typical men, always after the girls. Demitri more so than Axl. I decided to play a little trick on both of them to amuse myself. Taking the long way back to their towels, I snuck up behind them. They were both facing the opposite direction, so the timing was perfect. I placed my hand over their heads and willed some of my power to come, letting white fluffly snowflakes fall onto their heads, chilling their skin. I brought my other hand up to my mouth to muffle the small giggle that escaped.

I felt a tingle on my neck. I almost jumped out of my skin as i felt something cold on my shoulders. I brushed off some snowflakes from my shoulder. 'snowflakes... in Florida... wait a minute.' I thought I looked behind me noticing Ever. i smirked. 'Well if she wanted to play it that way.' I glanced at a palm tree near her. as a coconut was falling my eyes flared catching it on fire. It dropped next to her foot smoking. "my bad" i called over to her. "i didn't see you there."

I started talking with Amber, Cayla, and Ellen when i noticed Ever and Axl out of control. "Excuse me." i walked over to Ever and Axl. "Can you guys not torture each other for one day?" I asked them.

"Shut up," I snapped at Demitri. I gave him a glare, just to make sure I proved my point. He was so annoying, always trying to impress the 'ladies.'
I jumped as my foot was almost set on fire, no thank to Axl. "Oh my gods. You almost set me on fire, you arse." Such immature children.

I said sounding like a cautious Demi-god. "Plus the fact that you guys are embarrassing me in front of those girls over there." I looked over at the girls who were smilin and wavin. "Please can you quit fighting for one day?"

"Chill out, I'm pretty sure I can handle my own if monsters attack us, unlike you two wimps." I wiggled my slim fingers in Demetri's direction, letting some snow fall out, just to prove my point about the whole 'chill out' thing. "Plus, those girls aren't looking at you, they are making fun of you. Can't you see the way they giggle and look at each other? You loser." If Demitri wants girls, I would give him a girl. "Plus, on the other hand, Why want them when you have me?" To prove my point, I went to hug him, but had a little too much force and knocked him down. Laughing, I imagined the looks on the girls' faces.

"I have to agree with you on that on Ever." I said. "I'm going to get my kit and work on my bike. The suspension is off." I walked away towards my bike "OH and Ever. I can handle my self in fight." I slid under my bike and got to work.

I got Ever off of me and looked up and saw Cayla over me. "Need some help?" She asked extending her hand as she helped me up. "Thanks Cayla." I told her. "So Are you and that girl...?" She asked. "Who Ever... No way." I told her. "Cool Cool, so Amber, Ellen, and I were going to this party later and we were wondering if you and that guy over there..." She said gesturing to Axl. "... would maybe want to come?" She asked in a please say yes kinda tone. "I'll see if he would wants to go." I walked over to Axl. "Hey Axl wanna go to a party later?" I asked him.

"Cool I'll tell the girls." I walked over by Cayla. "We'll be there." I answered. "Cool So I'll see you there." Cayla said. When she walked over to her friends, I walked over to my truck and just leaned on it. "Hmm Axl and I at a party with 3 hot girls."
