Chris didn't move his head from Isabella's shoulder, or else she might see his true reaction. Thats the second time he has come close to shooting someone now. He was convjnced that one of these days; he was going to lose it. He couldn't let her see how shaken up he was, not again but he couldn't stop his body from shaking all over. "I'm great. Never been better." He lied, fear coming out in his voice despite his attempts to hide it. He wasn't just scared for himself, but for Isabella also. He could never let anything happen to her; he loved more than anything in the world.

Isabella narrowed her eyes at Chris. "Chris, don't you lie to me. I know when your lying so stop. Because if you keep lying, I'll kick your butt," Isabella told Chris, moving his head off his shoulder to see his face. "It's okay Chris," Isabella whispered to him, his hands of either side of his face.

Chris, who had Isabella's blood on his skin, clothes and now his face, looked down and took a deep breath. "I'm sorry. It's just, people that think they can hurt people and get away with it...it makes me sick." He whispered to Isabella, his light brown eyes meeting her grey ones. "I'm sorry." Chris breathed again, his vunerable side having broken free past his cocky and confident side, which wasn't common.

Isabella nodded. She hugged Chris, his head resting on her chest. "I know," Isabella whispered to Chris, he head leaning on his. Isabella sighed, seeing how bloody everything was. Isabella looked down at her shirt to see that it had blood on it as well. Isabella groaned; Eli was going to kill her. Isabella smiled lightly. "We should change clothes," Isabella said quietly to Chris.

Chris nodded in agreement, taking a steadying breath before standing up, assessing how bad Isabella's leg looked. He didnt think she would want to get it checked out at a hospital so, without warning, he lifted her up into his arms, wincing at the amount of blood on the sofa. "Where are the clothes?" Chris asked Isabella, planning on carrying her there like a real gentleman.

Isabella smiled lightly at Chris. "Probably n the bedroom closet," Isabella told Chris. She knew she wasn't going to be able to stand on her leg for a few days at all. Isabella grumbled. She would walk if it killed her. Isabella slowly got out of Chris's arms and walked a few steps towards the bedroom. "I'm fine," Isabella told Chris before she stumbled and fell to the wood floor in pain. Isabella sucked in her breath at the pain.

Chris tried to ucatch Isabella in time but couldn't. He groaned, scooping her off the floor back into his arms. "Yeah, no. Im going to have to be your doctor." Chris grinned, winking down at her before carrying her to the bedroom closet, opening it and looking inside, keeping a tight grip on her so she couldn't escape is arms again.

Isabella rolled her eyes at Chris. "Okay Mr. doctor," Isabella retorted with a smirk. Isabella looked in the closet and grabbed a random pair of jeans and a yellow shirt. "There, done picking out my clothes," Isabella said with a smirk. Without warning, Isabella took off her bloody shirt and put the new one on. Isabea sighed when she realized that it was going to be hard to put her jeans on.

Chris cleared his throat, looking away to hide a smirk. Chris had never blushed in his life but a faint tint of red appeared on his cheeks. Keeping Isabella in his arms with one arm as he picked out a pair of chinos and polo shirt, grimacing as he reqlised he had to wear the same underwear. He placed his new clothes on the bed, looking down at Isabella with a frown. "Do you want me to cut these jeans off?" He asked, wondering after that how he would get the next ones on.

Isabella couldn't help but smirk as Chris blushed a bit. Isabella looked down at her bloody jeans. Isabella shook her head. "Nah, I can figure it out," Isabella told Chris, wondering how in the world she was going to do this. Isabell got out of Chris's arms and sat on the bed. She grimanced; might as well get it over with. Isabella quickly took the bloodly jeans off, gritting her teeth as she did so. Isabella put the new jeans on, cussing uder her breath as she realized that she had chose skinny jeans. Isabella sucked in a breath when she was finally finished, the pain going away slowly.

Christopher pulled off his bloody jeans, puling on the new pair of chinos before walking into the bathroom, taking off his shirt and washing the blood off his chest, arms and face. He didn't know how it had got there. Walking back into the bedroom, he pulled on the new shirt before smiling at Isabella, holding out his arms to her so he could carry her again. "Are you hungry?" He asked, planning on making something for himself.

Isabella couldn't help but smile at Chris. He looked so cute in everything."Yeah, kinda. I could finish making the food. Besides, do you know how to cook?" Isabella asked Chris, curious, crossing her arms. Isabella did wonder if Chris could cook. He would probably look really handsome cooking. Isabella couldn't help but blush at the thought.

Chris grinned at Isabella, nodding. "Unless you have noticed, baby, but Im a man of many talents; cooking being one of them." Chris winked, brushing a dark curl from his eyes that was still wet and sticking on his forehead from the shower. "But Ill make something. I dont want to to hurt youself." He smiled, leaning down and kissing her lightly on the lips.

Isabella laughed lightly at what Chris said. He did have mnay talents though. Isabella's gray eyes fluttered close as Chris leaned in a kissed her softly on the lips. Isabella's hands went behind his neck, grabbing at the curls that were at the back of his head. Isabella pulled away after a bit, both of their noses touching. Isabella smiled lightly at Chris, noticing that his breath smelled like mint. "I love you," Isabella whispered to him, kissing him on the lips again.

Christopher moved his lips with Isabella's gently before pulling away, smiling. "C'mon, lets go before I get carried away." He grinned, scooping up Isabella in his arms and carrying her out of the bedroom, past the bloody sofa and sitting her down on the counter-top of the kitchen, smiling at her before bending down to pick up the shells of egg she had dropped earlier, putting them in the bin, washing his hands as he turned to face her. "So what would m'lady like to eat?" He asked, placing his hands on the counter either side of her, his face close to hers as he raised his eyebrows.

Isabella couldn't help but grin. "Make me oatmeal," Isabella jjoked, her gray eyes ligghting up. Isabella chuckled and looked up at Chris, meeting his warm brown eyes. Isabela ran a hand through his curls and smiled. "I don't know. Surprise me Chrissy," Isabella teased with a light smirk. She pulled away and laughed. Isabella raised an eyebrow at Chris before smiling at him again.

Chris smiled back at her, shrugging and planning on suprising her. He turned the radio on, pulling out bacon, eggs, flour and more from the cuboard and fridge, almost dropping them when he heard what song was playing on the radio. "Dude! This is my jam!" He grinned, doing a little dance to the counter where he dropped the ingrediants and started singing along to Ne-Yo. "Think of it second, I cant get nothing done, only concern is the next time im gunna get me some..." He started to fry the bacon, still singing.

Isabella laughed when Chris sang. She smiled as he started to cook bacon. "I think you already got some," Isabella teased, her gray eyes sparkling. Isabella smiled again, running a hand through her wavy, dark brown hair. Isabella's stomach rumbed as the bacon was being cooked, making a nice aroma. Isabella stuided Chris as he cook. He did look pretty handsome. "You look handsome babe," Isabella told Chris, the corners of her mouth in a smile.

Chris laughed at Isabella's first comment, taking his eyes off what he was cooking for a minute to wink at her and wiggle his eyebrows before starting to make the pancake mixture. "No, he's talking about when he's gunna get some more." After a few minutes, when there was about ten minutes of waiting until he cotinue cooking, he crossed over to Isabella who was still on the counter, standing in front of her. "Why, thank you, Beautiful." Chris murmmed, leaning in and kissing her jaw gently, his hands on the counter at her sides.

Isabella laughed at what Chris said. "Well, maybe you'll get more later," Isabella teased Chris, a small smirk on her face. Isabella smiled lightly when he called her breautiful. Isabella felt Chris kiss her jaw softly. Isabella wrapped her arms around Chris's neck and kissed his lips softly before lightly kissing his neck Isabella was tempted to give him a love bite as well to see how he liked it, but Isabella chose not to as she brought her lips's back to Chris's.

Chris smirked, liking Isabella's idea a lot. "Oh, yes please." He smiled as she kissed his neck before kissing Isabella back gently, pulling away after a few minutes when he had to flip the bacon. He continued to sing softly to himself, knowing most of the songs they had been playing. He poured the first pancake out, brushing his hair off his face and returning to his spot in front of Isabella. "What do you want to do today, Honey?" He asked, raising an eyebrow as his light brown eyes studied her.

Isabella laughed qt Chris's comment. Maybe, if he was only good to her. Isabella smiled lightly, thinking of where to go. They were in new York City after all. "Let's go to the measum," Isablla told Chris, suddenly getting all excited. But, she knew Chris wouldn't like that. Isabella thought again. "We could just walk around. I mean, there are a lot of fairs," Isabella told Chris.

Chris nodded thinking for a moment before smiling, finishing the first few pancakes and stacking them up on a plate. "Or...maybe before we walk around...we could pop in and visit my parents...?" Chris raised an eyebrow and trailed off, not knowing how she would react. He searched the cuboards for maple syrup as he waited for her answer.

Isabella raised an eyebrow at Chris. Visit his parents? Sure, why not? "Uh, sure. Do you think they will like me?" Isabella asked Chris, bitting her lip. Isabella looked down at her clothes. Oh, she would so have to change. She would have to find something else in the closet. "I just have to change though," Isabella told Chris quickly, not liking how she really looked.

Chris shrugged, finishing the pancakeaand bacon and placing them on the table, and sitting down. "Dont worry about it, my family are very, very easy going. They will love you; they love everyone." He smiled, remembering Isabella's bad leg so he carried her and sat her down into the chair opposite him, raising his eyebrows and wanting to know what she thought of his cooking.
