Kenneth 'Ken' Young -- Cybele -- 15

Ken was getting angry now, he was told he needed to learn how to read. Out in the wilderness it was simple , you woke up, you hunted, then you went to sleep. That is what he was taught, not words, Ken did not even understand how reading could help him. Ken then took a long sigh then returned to the book called "The One Two Three's of ABC's". He looked at the page again, he believed the letter was B but he was not sure, his hands curled into fists, he flung the book across the library, it landed next to another kid sitting at another table on the other end of the library.

"Whoa!" Sara screamed as the book hurtled towards her. She shrank back, expecting to be hit, but it slid to a stop right in front of her.
She huffed indignantly, having gotten over her initial fear and shock. The book, though not large by others standards, was bulky as she carried it under one arm back to the kid who threw it.
"I think this is yours?" She dropped the book on the table. Seeing the cover she raised an eyebrow.
"A B C's huh?" She glanced at him out of the side of her eye.
