Happy Birthday and Here's Your Present (Timmy)

Andromeda sat in bed feeling more alone than ever. It seemed her father had forgotten her Birthday, and so did everyone else. She hadn't spoken to Kylar in months and it seemed as if the roaring fire that had started between them have been snuffed out, leaving only charred marks on her heart.

"Happy 18th Birthday," she said to herself as a tear rolled down her cheeks. Maybe it was a mistake coming here. She should have just stayed home and stayed homeschooled, forever locked up in her house.

I tiptoed into the Hera cabin and snuck up behind Andromeda. "HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY" I shouted from behind her. I jumped on to the bed and gave her a tight hug. "I got you a present" I said handing her a small wrapped box. (its a specialy made necklace)

Andromeda jumped at the sound and a smile spread across her face when she was met with a hug from Timmy. Her arms wrapped around him, "How'd you know it was my birthday?" She'd never told anyone in the camp.

Taking the box and putting it on her lap, a large grin formed on her face. "Oh! Timmy, it's beautiful! Thank you!" She pulled him in for another hug and kissed him on the forehead.

Andromeda laughed. "You're a crazy little boy, so I wouldn't put it past you." Placing the necklace around her neck, she reached over and took out a large brown envelope from her dresser.

"Timmy, since I have you here, there's something I'd like to talk to you about," she said opening up the envelope and look at him.,

"Well since I'm 18 now, I'm able to well... adopt you..."

She gave him a sidways grin.

"I know that I can't replace your parents, but you said you didn't have anyone eles to take care of you... So.. iI mean, if you want to that is." Andromeda waited for him to respond.

Andromeda pulled him close and opened the envelope. Taking the papers out, she flipped to a marked page and signed the dotted line. Then putting it asside on the night stand, she laid Timmy down on the bed and tucked him in.

She hadn't told her father yet... Oh boy. This was going to be interested. 18 and already with a 4 year old kid.
