Guarding - Eliana's Much Practiced Art (Private~Madge.)

Eliana prowled along the Bridge. Her keen eyes were darting every where, checking for monsters... or men. She had another Huntress with her. No one guarded the Bridge alone, it would be much safer for the Huntress Camp is there was at least two people at all times. Seeing nothing Eliana walked back to the other guard without making a sound. She gazed around and finally spotted something. It was a man. Eliana scowled with disgust. She absolutely hated all of the male kind. She took careful aim and fired an arrow right in front of the man's face. He jumped back, and scuttled away like a startled rabbit. Eliana smiled in satisfaction. She quickly raced in to retrieve her arrow and sprinted back to her post. "If we see anything else you can have a turn at shooting." she told her fellow guard. At times it could be dull protecting the camp. Whenever Eliana was guarding she made sure to spread the action around.

Maysie Anne Walker

Sprinting through the forest in her silver jacket and Hunters t-shirt and a pair of jeans, Maysie Walker was late. She didn't mean to be late for guard duty, but she had been talking with a healer after she had sprained her ankle training. The Healer had healed it up right away and had told her to keep weight off of it. Maysie thought that was a good idea, but then she remembered she had guard duty. She had to ignore the instructions to keep her ankle fully healed and go help and contribute to her Lady Artemis.

Bursting onto the bridge with her dagger in her belt and her bow and quiver strapped onto her back, she skidded to a stop on the bridge. Leaning over to put her hands on her knees and breathe for a few moments and stood up straight, her chest heaving up and down. "I'm so sorry I'm late. I was.. in the Healer's tent. I had a sprained ankle. Sorry." She repeated, her silver jacket changing into a set of silver armor. The chest plate with made from tough, flexible leather and molded to her body perfectly. An arm band wrapped around her wrist protecting it from arrow abrasions and a pair of calf guards were on her legs.

A hood hung down on her back, ready to change into a helmet and moment's notice.

Eliana smiled at Maysie. "It's all right." she said kindly. Maysie shouldn't make a habit of this though. You souldn't be tardy when you were a Huntress. It was an important rule. "There hasn't been much action anyway." Eliana continued. "Only one male and I scared him away." She paused for a moment, checking they were still alone. "I hope your ankle's better." she added. Her ankle should be fine though. The Huntress healers were great at their jobs.

I tiptoed near the bridge, waiting. I was on a dare that a hot, charmspeaking son of Aphrodite could get across to see the most beautiful girls in history. I would probobbly get turned into a freaking deer for this but, what's life without a little risk? And a son of Ares doing my laundry. Hey, a dude can make a bet right?
