Brief History: Sabrina was born December 14th on a snowy Monday. She arrived on her father’s doorstep covered in a blanket woven in shadow. Her father did what any other normal mortal man would do; he tried to give the child a mother figure. When Sabrina turned five, her father promptly remarried to the sweetest woman alive, Ms. Carrie Laurel. Her father chose Ms. Carrie partially because she already had kids, twins, Marcus and Katie, Ms. Carrie’s 12 year olds at the time. Sabrina grew up happy, her family supportive despite her ever low grades and when she was expelled three times from school, the 1st an explosion having to do with a Khalkotauroi calf that had gotten loose and hit a gas pipe. Her parents never blamed her for anything.
When Sabrina was ten, her father and Carrie had a horrible divorce. Carrie thought of Sabrina as her child and tried to get custody of Sabrina during the divorce. But Sabrina’s father fraught for Sabrina and gained custody instead of Carrie. After the divorce her father became drunk. Sabrina mostly stayed with Ms. Carrie to get away from the foul smelling house.
A year later 11 year old Sabrina was on her way home from school, when she was attacked by a hellhound, she barely escaped with her life. She visited Ms. Carrie and the twins a little while after, and when the twins saw the scars on their “baby sister”, they got all protective and went out and brought her a switchblade and gave to her for her birthday that year.
The next time a year later she was attacked she used the switchblade on the monster and was surprised when it exploded into black dust. Instead of going home she went straight to Ms. Carrie house to question the twins. The twins were not home yet, so when Ms. Carrie question her about the dust, she lied saying she had just gotten into some black dirt. She waited for the Twins to come home, taking a shower and eating a lot. When the twins finally came home, she dragged them upstairs and forced them to talk about the strange switchblade. The Twins confessed to buying the switchblade from a woman on the street who was selling other weapons. They said that the switchblade just called to them. When Sabrina went home that night, she expected for her father to be sitting or sleeping on the couch. He was not home. It was not until a few days later that his body was found in a gutter. The police said he died from loss of consciousness a sign of alcohol poisoning.
After her father’s funeral, Carrie adopted Sabrina. The 12 year old told her now- mother about dreams she had been having about camp after doing their research, Sabrina found Camp Half- Blood. The twins both in New York at the time for collage agreed to drop her off, she still visits them from time to time. She has been here for two years.
Physical Appearance: Sabrina has naturally tan skin. Her eyes are almond shaped and the deepest brown. Her hair is dark brown and long. Her nose is very reminiscent of Quinn Fabray's or at a different angle Rachel Berry's. She had small pink lips perfect for kissing and her ears are small. Her style because she imitates Katie's is rather casual and feel good. Her smile if you can get it is big and blinding white.
Personality: Sabrina is arrogant. Really arrogant. She believes she is the best like really believes it. She is an impatient person and one of her bigger dislikes is waiting around for someone. She is ambitious, has big dreams and hates when anyone gets in her way. In a rather twisted irony she is also very loyal and it causes her frustration on a massive scale.
Fatal Flaw: Her ambition plus her loyalty is a dangerous combination for making enemies.
Pets: Golden retriever named Angel
Talents: Sabrina can talk to dogs and see in the dark. Sabrina also has the ability to shadow travel though she isn’t very good. A few feet maybe, China never. She is also semi-able to manipulate shadow. She can use it for a shield or blanket but there must be some light creating a shadow for her to use that power once the light is gone so is the shadow for doesn't the quote go "For a shadow there must be light."
Weapons: She has a small stygian stiletto switchblade knife with a gold handle. When opened it glows with a bright gold light that she uses to create shadows with.

Introducing All That Is Ty Name: Tyra “Ty” or “Rose” Rosalyn Daring Age/Birthday: 14/ April 9th Gender: Female God Parent: Athena Claimed: Yes Mortal Family: Andrew Lamont Daring (father- alive) Years in Camp: 6 Brief History: Tyra was born on April 9th on a chilly, windy Friday. She arrived on her father’s doorstep in a golden cradle her tiny blonde curls mussed by the wind. She had a smile on her face that would be with her whether on her face or on her heart. Athena left a note in the casket, saying that Tyra was a gift from her and the note told him if things ever were too dangerous for Tyra to take her to Camp Half Blood. Tyra’s father was a high school calculus teacher and not a man of many words. He had spoken to Athena and she had seen his intelligence, together they made Tyra. Tyra grew up in a quiet house. She made up for what her father did not say being the talkative one in the house. Tyra was a talented child, when she was younger she would be seen singing, dancing and putting on shows for those that entered the house. When Tyra entered school she began to get more into her “Athena aspect” as her father called it. Tyra loved to read, often getting in trouble for reading when she was supposed to be doing other things and starting multiple books at one time. When Tyra was reading her dyslexia did not affect her, she could read for hours never moving from one spot. Tyra has always had a bad history with dogs. Whether it was the neighbor’s pit bull or the Hades’s kid hellhound, no dog has ever liked Tyra. So maybe it was no surprise when Tyra’s first monster was a hellhound. When Tyra was in third grade she was attacked by a hellhound on her way to her father’s school, after school. The hellhound tore at her clothes leaving them in shreds, Tyra barely got away. She had small bites on her legs. She was sobbing the entire way. Her father seeing her ripped clothes, immediately understood. He comforted his daughter. Little Tyra did not understand why she was a freak. Her father did not know what to do. Something inside of him however told him that this could just be the beginning. He made a decision right then to move to New York, get a teaching job there, and take Brooklyn to Camp Half Blood where she could finally be safe. Tyra always knew she was different, so when her father sat her down and explained she believed him . . . of course she questioned him (Athena all the way!) But in the end both of them were happy and safe. Physical Appearance: Tyra has long wavy light blonde hair. Her eyes are are a dark grey with specs of blue. She has a small nose posted slightly to the left on her face. She has one of those brilliant smiles practically blinding to the other person and also has smile lines. Her lips are naturally pink and slightly heart shaped. Her face is narrow and she has a square chin. She has a splatter of frecles underneath her chin.Her style at the moment is preppy yet cute. (purple nerd glasses) Personality: Tyra is as bright as Apollo. She loves to laugh and enjoys a good joke. She is always smiling, she is outgoing. She has always had that optimistic attitude about life, never letting anything get her down. She is going through that rebel stage of life (though she was always rebellious) so she recently learned how to talk back to her dad, she has even lied so far. Tyra is very intelligent girl who can get straight A’s, but her ADHD and Dyslexia prevents her from doing so. She is always thinking and is proud that she can finish something and do it greatly. Her independence can get the best of her very often. Her amazing ability to quickly think makes her a good ally for capture the flag. Fatal Flaw: Her independence Pets: As explained in the history Tyra will never have a dog but that does not stop her from having an Egyptian Mau named Tatum. Talents: Singing, minor dancing, acting, and pegasi riding Weapons: Tyra has twin daggers named Simba and Nala Year-Round or summer: Year- round but goes to school in New York and then comes back to Camp. | Great characters! As much as I'd like to accept them, I have noticed that both don't have enough sentences in their Appearance section. Might want to add one. And yeah, as soon as you do, they'll be accepted. :] | |
