Cassidy sighed and felt her newly braided hair. It had been like that for a while now, ever since she joined the Hunters. She sighed and began to pack up the few items that she had. Cassidy was packed and ready to go, to leave camp forever. She looked over her old bunk and smiled softly. She then looked around her whole cabin, as if memorizing it in her mind. Cassidy shook her head, she was leaving in a few minutes. She doubted any of her siblings would care that she was leaving, she never was a popular one in this cabin. Cassidy sighed, and bit her lip. It was time to go. She slung her duffel bag over her shoulder and headed out the door, running into someone.

"Oh, sorry." she mumbled, trying not to look at the camper. She wanted to leave silently, because she knew no one cared.

I looked up at the girl I had just run into. She was carrying a bag, so I naturally assumed she was running away from camp. "Are you going somewhere?" I ask. The girl looked sad. "I'm Jack, by the way."

Cassidy stopped and looked at him. "I'm not running away, if that's what you think." she said with a frown. "I just don't belong here anymore, I'm a hunter." Cassidy explained with a shrug. She looked the boy over, and replaced her frown with a neutral look. "I'm Cassidy, nice to meet you. I don't expect you to know me." she said, offering a handshake.

I toook Cassidy's hand. "I don't know a lot of people in this cabin. I'm not usually in here. I don't fit in with the tough guys." I said. "So, you're a hunter. That's pretty cool. If I could join, I probably would."

Cassidy smiled and let go of his hand. Even if he was her brother, he was still a boy. She heard him comment and rolled her dark eyes. " Yeah, right." Cassidy commented. "I don't think you would give up girls." she added. Cassidy looked outside, as if it were a watch. She would be leaving soon.

"Now, that's not true. I was there once, but I don't think so anymore. Any ways, it's only for girls." I say. I wondered what made her change into a huntress. I decided it best not to ask. I looked where she was looking. Outside. I loved Camp Halfblood at night. It was beautiful. I sighed. Jackie would have loved this.

Cassidy raised and eyebrow. " There once? You were in love?" she asked. Cassidy knew she might be hitting a nerve, but she didn't care. Besides, she would most likely never see Jack again. She wanted to know at least something about him.

"Why does that sound so surpising?" I ask. "But, yeah. I was. She was a daughter of Hectate. What was with people asking such personal questions. That was all I was going to tell her, because I didn't cry in the Ares Cabin. No, I cried by the creek and lake. Alone.

Cassidy shrugged. "It doesn't, really." she replied simply. "Well, see you around, maybe, no... no I won't." Cassidy said. " Take care Jack, I'm going to go." she said, giving him and awkward pat on the shoulder. Cassidy headed out to join Artemis and the other Hunters.

"Well, ok. Bye!". Cassidy left. I waved after her, feeling stupid. What else was I supposed to do? I walked back into my Cabin and collapsed onto my bed. I put my iPod on, and I was asleep in minutes.

Victarii saw her brother laying on the bed listening to his ipod and walked over to snatch the headphones out of his ear, hoping to wake him up. Her voice drawled as she spoke, not caring whether he had woken up and heard her or if he had slept through it. it would be entertaining to see how much it would take to wake him up if he didn't wake up.

"Hey lazybones. Sleep is overrated and i'm bored. so wake up."

My eyes snapped open as my music was cut off. I was staring at a girl. It was Victarii. "Hello to you to," I grumble as I sit up. I grab my iPod and turn it off. I look around the cabin. Victarii is the only other person in the Cabin. "What do you want?" I ask her. I'm not too grateful to her for waking me up, so I'm not going to try to be nice.
