The awsome beach party.(group RP) (Open to all)

"Stern." He said resting his pale green eyes on her. Staring into her eyes, he raised his free hand for a handshake. "Kylar Stern. Failure Extraordinaire."

I put my head in Andromeda's lap. in my sleep. and stayed there still dreaming of candy and sweets.

Andromeda let out a small airy laughter, "Nice to meet you Kylar."

What an odd group they made at the beach, she thought. Sitting back to let the boy lay on her lap, she looked up at Kylar, "Sit down before you fall again?" She gave him a slight wink before turning to Fiona and grinning. Her fingers automatically played with Timmy's hair as he slept.

It was such a nice day, she wondered why there weren't a lot of poeple going in the water.

"Thanks for the invite." He laughed as he lowered himself next to her awkwardly. Once he was situated perfectly, he looked over into her lap. "Cute boyfriend you got there."

Her hand stilled and she suddenly realized what she was doing. She smiled over at Skylar and proceeded to play with the little boy's hair.

"Oh yes. I've found THE ONE," she said smiling at him. Without even realizing it, Andromeda was staring into his eyes as if she was being drawn in somehow. Shaking her head from the transe, she looked out into the water.

She wished she could just fall asleep like Timmy had, her life seemed like one long marathon where she wasn't allowed to rest.

I woke up and hit him out of instinct. "I heard that" I said staring daggers at him. I sat up and got ready to hit again. come on say it again. I taunted evily.

I laugh. "Cute kid," I say. I turn to Kylar. "So, Kylar, what cabin are you? I might know some kids." I threw back my head and let my face bask in the sun. Heat felt good. Just like the fire I was trying to perfect.

"Looks like it. I'm a Demeter." Kylar let out a small laugh and stared out at the water. "You're- It's beautiful isn't it." He blushed slightly and lowered his eyes to the sand. "Bright as well." Then with a swift movement he pulled open the box he carried. "Iced Cream anyone?"

I laid back down on the dock and began to fall asleep. I fell asleep a moment later. I dreamed I was an undercover cop searching for gangsters when I got shot in the arm. I shot up to make sure it was just a dream.

Andromeda shook her head and put her hand up as if defending herself from the evil ice cream.

"No, but thank you. The little one might want one though," she said tapping Timmy's shoulder slightly. She stopped suddenly, "on second thought- he might not need anymore."

Andromeda looked Kylar up and down, where ever did he get that box from- she hadn't noticed him carrying anything but a cane.

I looked around and saw every thing was the same. "ooooooh ICE CREAM" I shouted scooting closer to him and taking te box and grabbing ice cream. then giving him back the box. I ate the ice cream silently and watched every one.

"Smuggling routes. We could be sitting on soda for all we know." He said following her look. "I'm not much a fan of it either." He set the returned box aside and leaned back. "It's bright out." He turned and looked right into her eyes. "Feel like takin a walk?"

"I'd like some ice cream," I say. I open my eyes and face Kylar. "A Demeter, huh? I know some nice Demeter kids. One's been here thirteen years, year round. She's pretty old around here. Have you met her yet?" Someone's got the hots for someone else. Puppy love. its adorable when not messed with.

Andromeda gave Timmy's head a pat. She loved children, though rarely had a chance to be around them. She was always surrounded by adults, or people her own age- but either ways, she was always expected to act like an adult.

Her eyes widened at Kylar's question, "What?... You mean... Alone?" Adromeda's eyes shifted from Kylar to Timmy to Fiona and then to Miranda, until they came back around to Kylar.

She wasn't exactly sure what he was asking. Being in a social gathering, even something as simple as sitting at the beach with strangers, was rare for her. And now she was faced with an odd question she didn't really know how to answer, or to take for that matter. Her guard went up immediately and she remembered the knives she carried with her.

I smiled knowingly of what he was doing. It was pretty obvious. or atleast to me. I thought to myslef. "coughFLIRTINGcough" I said coughing it out and laughing a little. I leaned against Andromeda when I finished my ice cream. I leaned on her shoulder slowly falling asleep.

"Eh," He relaxed slightly, "We don't have to."He turned towards Fiona. "I have not. I'm usually avoided by everyone. Due to my uselessness. If you're not whole nobody wants you. Not even your own. That's probably the reason why we've not previously met." He said, ignoring Timmy.

Andromeda's eyes widened even more but she fought to regain composure. No one had ever flirted with her before. Her cheeks flushed as she realized her mistake, thinking he wanted to harm her in some way when he probably was only trying to be nice.

"What do you mean by 'whole?'" she asked tilting her head, desperate to find another subject after such an embarrasment on her part.

I fell asleep again. I dreamed I was in Afghanastain fighting bad people. I was with 4 other people watching citizens from the roof. I was dreaming when I slipped off Andromeda's shoulder and hit my head on the dock. I started crying and quickly moved my hand to my head

"I'm broken. When I was running from my orphanage, I happenend across a breeding ground for some...Snake people? Anyways, I took a club to the bottom of my shin. Not only fractured it, but it'll never settle right. It's physically impossible for me to run. That's what I mean by Not Whole." My voice had grown even sharper than I had wanted, "Sorry, I didn't mean to get that worked up over it."

Andromeda immediately tended to Timmy's head, taking his hand away and looking for any blood. She sighed when she saw none and started to hush him.

"It's ok, you aren't hurt," she cood before turning to Kylar and shaking her head with a slight smile.

Hearing his story made her heart swell, in only a few sentences he'd told her so much.

"I'm so sorry to hear that," she said trying her hardest to keep her voice even. "Can't... anyone... do anything about it? I mean, there are a lot of ummm.. people here," she said, not knowing exactly what she was trying to say. Except that being, not exactly humans, someone must have some kind of ability for that kind of thing.

Everything was so new to her she didn't know what kind of abilities other people had, for all she knew there could be someone in the camp that can kill someone with one glance.

I slowly stopped crying and laid my head on her knee and slowly fell asleep again.I must of been tired cause I passed through 3 dreams. I slept and slept and slept.
ooc: I have a character that has healing powers. :)

He shook his head, knocking the tears from his eyes. "It was too late when I got here. It had already healed wrong. If it had been a little earlier, I might've been saved but it's impossible now. I'm just happy I can walk." He layed back and stared into the sky. "But enough of this sad stuff." he stared at Timmy with a smile. "Four year olds shouldn't sleep so much. I hear it can lead to bad habits."

The little boy continued to sleep and she wondered why he was so lethargic. Was he really just that tired?

Her eyes moved up to Kylar, "He should probably get to bed, it's getting late and he's just a babe. I wonder who takes care of him while he's here?"

Standing up slowly, she picked the boy up and realized with a bit of surprise that he wasn't as heavy as she thought he would be. But the dead weight of sleep pulled her arms down.

"Do you know where his cabin is?" she asked Kylar looking over towards the direction of the cabins.

He shook his head lazily, and stood up. "I don't even know what he is. Apollo? I know where each cabin is though." He tossed his cane to the ground and took Timmy from her arms. "I don't necessarily need it. But it helps when going uphill" Kylar rolled him over until he was laying in his arms, as a newborn would. "Do you know what who his Parent is?"

Andromeda raised her eyebrows, "not as weak as you made yourself sound, I see." She walked towards the cabin, leading the way.

"I don't know, I just met him today," her voice carried behind her. "Might we go door to door and ask?" But as soon as she saw the first cabin, she lost her nerves.

"Or... better yet, just askin him," she said walking back towards them. She looked up at Kylar, and then down at Timmy.

"Hey, wake up. What cabin are you in?" she said softly.
