The Arrival

"...Well let's just say he is the death god now-a-days. Hmmm, I wonder what cabin you'll be put in? If you don't like yours feel free to come hang with me in Hermes cabin."
I smile and nod as if I was agreeing with my own idea.

I see him frowning and think 'Yikes might have over-done the whole welcome wagon thing already... Oh well.' Then I say "Yeah it's a nice cabin and all...except for the fact it isn't fully finished yet. Your father, Thanatos, is more of an older god. What I'm trying to say is...he is no longer one of the gods." I frown at the idea of making this boy feel left out, so I put on my fake smile and swing my arm around his shoulder. "So buddy, what's your name? Tell me a little 'bout yourself , alright?"

I laugh and sit down on the hill. "Nice name kid. Your gay...? That's cool and good luck slicing me in half, I already took your necklace when I put my arm around you." I jokingly toss the necklace back to him. "There ya go. Better watch out for us Hermes kids. We're tricker than we seem." I wink and slowly walk off, secretly hoping for him to follow after me.

I laugh to myself thinking how much this boy frowns and how much I smile. Exact opposites. "Why don't you smile much? Honestly I understand your gay and maybe you don't like pretty girls like me but hey it's beautiful out and we're not being eaten alive so why not let your smile SHINE!" I run down the hill a little bit twirling and spinning the entire time untill I get too dizzy and fall on my butt.

Nope no problems here. I say. Wow just wow was all I could think though. I couldn't imagine what that'd be like. but then again I wasn't going to ever have to find out any of that kind of stuff because I was now a proud hunter of Artemis.

I put my aviators on and stand up. "Rediculous am I? Alrighty then. Whatever you say. But if I'm rediculous then you must be utterly boring. I just think life is good here...especially after my quest. Having all your friends be killed infront of you? Eh not so much fun. I prefer smiling and laughing to that any day of the week." I say in a somewhat harsh tone.

Yeah cheer up a bit. I don't normally hang out with guys but seriously, you should really be a lot happier. Life's no fun if you're always angry. I say.

I nod and agree with Jesabelle. "I agree bunches with that. Even my old pal Nico was happier than you."

I frown and look at the ground. I think to myself 'Some people just don't understand.' I stare into Cyn and Jesabelle's eyes and say "Some people are worth the pain that they put you through." And I run off crying.

Well, then you are not just mad, you're absolutely bonkers, but let me tell you a secret. The best people in the world are. I tell him.

before i totally embarrass myself by posting some big long soliloquy where one shouldnt be, id like to ask... can anyone just introduce a character here or is there already a big roleplay already going on?

I had arrived in camp just yesterday. Chiron was waiting as if he expected me. He welcomed me, told me a bit about the camp, and told me to find the cabin appropriate to my god.
However, as my father was not an Olympian and my grandfather was the only one of the gods that didnt have a cabin, he told me I could stay in the hermes cabin. I didn't. I preferred to camp out in the woods that night.
To put it simply, I dont have very good social skills. I grew up in a temple in Tibet and even though I spent the 3 years in a city I never related very well to people.
So far only chiron has even seen me, let alone acknowledge my presence. I hope to keep it that way...at least, until I have to...
