I walked along the beach, guitar and notebook in hand. I was working on a new song.

I finished the song and layed down on the sand, tossing my guitar aside. I thought about what it would be like to be in love. To have someone who likes you for you.

Lowri walked down the edge of the beach, her earbuds in her ears and playing a Nivarna song very loud. She picked up a pebble, throwing it far into the distance whilst contemplating is her life was like a fantasy. She sighed, continueing to walk when she saw a boy lying on the sand, a guitar next to him. She took one earbud out. "Hello." She smiled friendily.

"Hey. Are you new? I haven't seen you around." She had shimmering silver eyes and luscious long blonde hair that went down to her waist. She seemed friendly and up-beat.

"Wanna take seat? I'm working on a song, you wanna help?" I grabbed my guitar and wiped the sand off of it.

Lowri tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear, watching the boy in the grey hat. She shrugged, going to sit down on the sand next to him. "No, im not new. I just got back from recruiting demigods...I dont know if I will be any good, sorry." She smiled at him.

"Well here's the song so far, tell me if I should change anything." I handed her the song. "So whats you're name?"

I smiled and moved closer to her to watch her read the song. I started to play the chords. Strumming cautiously, be careful not to miss a single chord.

She read through it, smiling at his creativity. "Its great. Deep though, man. Thats a good thing." She turned to face him, watching him play as she put the pad on the sand. "Im Lowri, daughter of Athena. You are?"

"Thanks and I'm Felix Boyd son of Hermes. I wish I was an Apollo child though." I said putting down my guitar.

I resumed playing but this time I played and sung Paradise by Coldplay. Lowri was smiling.

"Why? Hermes are cool." She laughed. She listened as he played, singing along quietly. She loved this song, it was one of her top ten. She turned her iPod off so she could listen properly. "How long have you been playing?"

"I guess so. I've been playing guitar since I was 6. My dad sent this fro olympus. It's special, the strings never break and the paint never chips." I told her. She was singing along with the song. "Sing louder, I want to hear you sing." I said. I flashed a smile at her, she couldn't resist. I heard rustling in the bushes behind us. Out popped my border collie, Moses. He just about tackled me, licking my face. "Heyyyy boyyy! How was you play time with Charity? Was it fun? Huh, was it fun?" I cooed. Whoops, forgot Lowri was there.I blushed like crazy.

Lowri laughed when he spoke to his Dog. It was cute. She reached out and stroked the Dog's fur. "I have a Dog too. A labrador; Bradley." She laughed again, running a hand through her hair. Lowri watched him blush, smiling. Bradley was probably being spoilt back at the cabin with her little brothers and sisters. They adored him. "And what's this guys name?" She changed to the same tone as he had.

"This is Moses. I found him on my way here, in brooklyn roaming an alley. He's been my number one companion ever since." I smiled. Lowri was stroking Moses. "You wanna go for a swim?" I asked.

Lowri continued to stroke Moses, looking up at Felix with raised eyebrows. Her smile turned into a frown. "Sorry, I didn't bring my swin suit." She said before grinning and looking down at her jeans "Unless you wanna go in in our clothes."

"Well, I didn't bring mine either so clothes it is." I stood up and grabbed Lowri. Throwing her over my shoulder running for the water.The water was freezing.

"Holy crap!" Lowri yelled, grabbing onto the back of Felix's shirt, holding on to dear life. Still on his shoulder, she dipped one of her toes in the water. It was so cold. She climbed higher on his shoulder. "Uh...I think imma stay up here, thanks."

Felix laughed. He had a devious idea. he went further into the water and dove down under, taking Lowri with him. When they came back up Fleix walked to the shore laughing the whole way. Lowri and Felix, both soaked.

Lowri jumped off him, now soaking as she followed him out of the water. Her hair was dripping all down her clothes which were also drenched. She growled at him. "You;er stupid, you know that?" She bit back a smile. It was hard staying mean at him.

He smirked. "No you just can't handle how awesome I am." Lowri was trying her hardest to stay mad at him. He thought it was kinda cute. Her trying to hold back her smile." Let me take you back to you're cabin. You can dry off, get changed and we'll meet on Half-Blood Hill." I picked up my notebook and guitar. I threw my shirt into my knapsack along with my notebook.

Lowri stopped trying to stay mad at him and rolled her eyes. She nodded. "Yeah, sounds good." She picked up her iPod off the sand and held it in her hand, deciding it best not to put in her wet pocket.
