Back from a Fight

I opened my eyes dazed. I looked around. The infirmary? I sat up slowly trying to use my arms to push me up. I yelped as the pain shot through my arm. I looked down at it. "Oh yeah." I spoke to myself.

Artemis sighed, she had nodded off, sitting by the bed, her lips pursed in thought. Artemis's head fell forward she frowned slightly as she slept, it looked as though she might fall off the chair any minute.

I was going to tap on her and wake her, but she suddenly fell out of the chair. I laughed then whined as pain shot through me. "Did I break something?" I gripped my chest.

A thud woke the girl Artemis from her slumber, she looked up slightly, realissing she'd fallen to the ground, she got up, kneeling besides Tori. Artemis took the girls hand "your ok, your ok, I thought you were.......I was realy, realy worried" she sounded a little too concerned realy, perhaps it was guilt or something else.

I laughed lightly and winced. "It's fine. Nothing time can't heal." I pointed with my good arm to the cup. "Can you hand me the nectar?"

"Oh ok" Artemis says, reaching over grabbing the bottle of nectar, she smiled, raising it to Tori's lips. Artemis hums softly to myself "I lost my shoes" she says, looking down at her bare and slightly burnt feet.

I looked down at her feet. "Oh my. Are you okay? Your feet are burnt." I waved my good hand. "Hey you. Apollo kid. Did you treat her feet? Their burnt."

Artemis shooed the kid away "it's fine, that was a couple of days ago, you've been out for about four weeks now." Artemis says, pursing her lips in thought waiting for it to sink in.

"What?" I was shocked. "Why was I knocked out that long? My injuries weren't that serious. That's crazy." I stared at her in disbelief. "Tell my you're kidding."

"Yeah I'm kidding" Artemis says, pleasent grin apearing on her face, still kneeling at the girls bedside. Artemis couphed "well after I shot you, sory about that, yu passed out and then after about three days I managed to bring you back here, oh I may have thrown your footwar away."

I laughed and winced again. "Nice. Good thing I wasn't wearing my converse." I smiled. "So how long till I'm healed?"

"Dunno couple of days I guess" Artemis giggles lightly, moving to sit at the foot of the girls be she throws off her cover, gigglig, she gently gips Tori's right foot. Artemis smiled, giggling softly "your feet are nic, their not as burnt s mine, but their still very nice, infact there pretty much the only part of you that hasn't been injured."

I laughed again. The pain wasn't that hard to deal with considering she was already used to it. "Thanks. What do you have some kinda feet fetish?"

"Yeah of course" Artemis says, giving a small smile as she looked over at Tori, folding her arms slightly, taking her hands away from the girls feet. Artemis couphs slightly letting a small giggle escape her lips.

I laughed again. "Why you so giggly? Do I look funny?" I asked self conscious. "Come on cut me a break I fought like 3 or for GIANTS! You can't expect me to look like a supermodel 24 7."
