Sitting down at a table for two made of weaved iron, Tilly held a syrofoam cup full of thick, hot chocolate. Her dirty blonde hair was in a side braid, and a cute earflap cap kept her ears warm from the winter winds. Looking down at her fuzzy boots, Tilly sipped a bit of her hot chocolate, wiping off the whipped cream moustache she had on her face with her thin glove. Smiling down to herself, Tilly's blue eyes traveled down to her coat pocket. In there was the change she had left over from the hot chocolate that she was going to give to charity. Feeling a little bad, Tilly choked back the hard feelings and looked up.
"Will!" Tilly exclaimed, "I didn't expect you to be here!" Tilly's face went red, and she hoped he couldn't tell. Standing up, Tilly looked down, then up quickly. Could it have been a coincidence that he met up with her at this time? It wasn't daylight, and the ski slopes were closed. Twinkly lights glittered through out the fair, and Tilly felt like she was just emmitting this sort of... Frost.
Blushing immensely, Tilly sat back down and held her hot chocolate. She didn't want to seem like a glutton by finishing off the rest of that hot chocolate... Especially not in front of him. Though best friends for about 3 years, Tilly began to develop a crush on him within the past few months. They were closer than 2 Scylla heads! "What are you doing here at this time of night?" Tilly paused, [color:e905=powder blue]"I had something on my mind... So I couldn't sleep." Tilly said, hoping he doesn't ask what exactly that thought was.

Will chuckled at his goofy friend Tilly. "Hi, Tilly." He said his eyes on the horizon behind her. It wasn't really that late compared to most of the nights he spent awake laying in bed thinking about the girl in front of him. She didn't have a past that was involved with Roxanne so he was good. He was attracted to her. But not for that reason alone.
Will smiled a very white smile and said, "I'm only out late because I couldn't sleep." He said. He looked down at his peacoat and rebuttoned one of the buttons. He tucked his scarf a bit farther into his jacket.

"now in the morning i sleep alone;
sweep the streets i used to own..."

Tilly smiled faintly. Will was one of the only people Tilly could trust. After all, he had stuck with her since... Since what? She couldn't remember. "Oh." She laughed a bit to herself. She gazed into his dark eyes for a moment, then looked away and blushed slightly. All the sleepless nights she had spent, um, NOT doodling pictures of her and him holding hands and walking into the sunset together, could finally be worth the while... That is, if she had the guts to ask him to dance with her at the winter dance. It wouldn't be lady like of you to ask a guy to the dance. He has to ask you. Tilly argued with herself in her own mind, and she didn't even think of that awkward silence between them.
"Well, we could go ice skating tonight? It's supposed to be for couples, but we could go as friends...?" Tilly suggested, looking down. Of course, she didn't want to push it, but she didn't want to seem like she just wanted to be friends, either. Standing up, Tilly sipped a little more of her hot chocolate, and threw it away in the trash can nearby. Rubbing her hands together, Tilly looked up into the sky. It was snowing, and Tilly looked down at the glass table. (The chairs were weaved metal, but the table counter was glass). She was going to draw a heart, with several other hearts inside of them, but she just did one.
Removing her glove, Tilly traced her finger on the glass, a heart. It was the slightest bit deformed, but it made do.

Will watched her walk over to glass table and draw something in the cold. He shifted his weight to his left leg and thought about his answer for a moment. Will ran his tongue along his teeth and sighed.
He walked over to her and put his large hands on her shoulders and rubbed gently. "I don't like ice skating," he said with a bit of a chuckle. It was true; he hated ice skating with a passion. "But maybe we could do something else?" he offered.

sweep the streets i used to own..."

Sorry, that sucked. I have a lot on my mind.

Nodding, Tilly realized that she wasn't very good at ice skating either. Was he suggesting that they go to the dance? She was totally up for that! She was afraid of heights, but the Ferris Wheel after the dance wouldn't be too bad, either... Tilly smiled a bit, and looked at him with her curious eyes. Looking toward the lighted up white tent that held the Winter Dance, Tilly looked back at him. Looking down, Tilly wrote down the words she wanted to say, but couldn't get them out. Do you want to go to the dance? Tilly wrote down in cursive. She blushed mildly, and looked at him.

Everybody else that crowded around Will fuzzed out into the distance. She thought about him. And only him.

Will sat there and watched her write the question out on the table. He frowned; he couldn't read longhand. He could barely read shorthand for that matter. Will tried very hard to decipher what it said but just couldn't. "Tilly, I can't read that." He said, very frustrated with his dyslexia at the moment. One thing about being a demigod meant that you couldn't read for crap.
He sat down next to her and looked at her and sighed. "I can't read whatever language that is. I wish I could, believe me." He said frustratedly. He glanced down at her hands. They looked cold.

To come to think of it, Tilly had a hard time reading it as well. Embarassed to say it out loud, Tilly wrote it down in greek. Tilly didn't use greek much, so she probaby said something like, "Do you want to go shopping with me?" or something like that. Laughing at her mistakes, she wiped it out and leaned in to whisper it into his ear. She didn't want to do it, but she had to. "Do you want to go to the dance with me?" Tilly whispered, in her sweet little voice. Looking down, Tilly blushed, then looked up at the tent again.

Surprised, Will thought for a moment. He was nervous to answer right away. If he answered right away he'd look desperate and odd. But if he waited for a few moments he'd look cool and calm and collected. What he really wanted was to jump for joy and say, 'Heck yes!' but, he'd have to control himself.
"Yes, I'll go with you." He said with a small smile. His eyes were lit up with joy, though. He had thought about asking her, but he wanted to wait a few more days until he decided if she liked him or not.

Smiling at Will, Tilly pulled him into an awkward hug. Blushing a bit, she rested her head on his shoulder, and looked at him in the eyes. Nothing could describe the emotional connection they had between each other. It was they were created for each other. Two misfits, a boy and girl... Looking down, her face a shade of red, Tilly laughed a bit. "You're awesome, you know that?" Tilly said to his face, looking him directly in his blue-green eyes.

((Have you read his profile? Not to be mean but, Will doesn't have dark features. Will has strong, proud, almost broad features. With blue-green-gray eyes.

Will shrugged. "It happens." He said with chuckle. Will walked over to a small, golden machine. It had about a dozen spouts and didn't look mortal. But it did look like a coffee/hot chocolate dispenser.
Will pulled a Styrofoam cup from the bag of stacked cups and looked around for a lever. He found one and suck the cup underneath the nozzle and pulled the lever. Steamy, hot chocolate was dispensed from the machine and the steam tendrils curled up into the air like smoke. The tendrils curled around Will's cheeks, making his cheeks a bit wet from the steam.
Will looked around for a bag of lids. Hopefully there was a bag for that. He spotted one, not too far away, next to another machine. He walked over and picked one and screwed it on tight to his cup. Will turned back to Tilly and leaned against the counter of the machines. He brought the cup up to his lips and sipped carefully.

Tilly grinned and walked over to the hot chocolate dispenser, and put her old styrofoam cup under the spout. Being green means reusing! Smiling, she waited until it was about 3/4ths full. Grabbing the Reddy Whip bottle, She sprayed about 3 inches of cream on top of the hot chocolate. Nodding, Tilly sprinked some cinnamon on top of it. Feeling satisfied, Tilly dipped her finger in the cream, and popped it into her mouth. "I can go get my dress from my cabin, It'll just be a bit." Tilly says, her stone grey/blue eyes peering down at her ugg boots.

Will peered at her through confused eyes. "What do you mean? You want to go now?" He asked cocking his head a bit. She wanted to go now? It was, like, three in the morning. Will shook his head. She was a crazy child, but he was alright with that.
