It was a bright warm day. There was a slight breeze that circulated fresh air around the sparkling blue lake Logan had his toes dipped in. He was lying on the wooden dock, shirt off with his hands cradling the back of his head and his legs strewn casually over the edge. He moved his legs in slow, small circles and his toes grazed the water, forming small repels that repelled away any fish or crabs that might've found amusement in taking his toes. It also gave the water nymphs something to laugh at and occasionally prod for amusement.
The sun beat down on his close eyelids, face, and chest, and he soaked it up delightfully. Waves washed over the shoreline delicately and supplied the soft, therapeutic noise of salt tumbling over sand. It lingered in the back of his mind, as well as the birds chirping out to one another, kids splashing about playing water polo and the nymphs giggling and gossiping about the cutest demi-god. It was like a perfect day, but that was to be expected from camp half-blood, where any weather that wasn't absolutely splendid was pushed away from the camp boundaries.
All noises were tuned out, and all Logan heard was the soft humming that vibrated from his throat. He smiled and blinked dark blue eyes open, peering into the sky and watching the clouds roll by.
