In the Alley... fighting... [B R E N N A N, and anyone who asks!]

I handed the waitress fifty dollars, which was probably a generous tip because she looked about to faint. I drank down my iced tea nervously, and only ate a couple bites from my sandwich even though I was pretty hungry, I was nervous that we didn't sacrifice to the gods, and there was a creepy stalker.

At that moment, I was desperate. The guy had somehow moved to the closer table without me seeing him. I prayed to my dad. Uh, hey dad, there's this creepy guy here. I don't want Nikky to get hurt, and I'm also pretty scared.

I glanced behind me. The guy had moved closer. I had already paid for my food, so I stood up. "Hey, dude, I think we should scram," I urged him. I didn't care what he said this time. I was getting out of here.

I nodded and said quietly, "Yeah, good idea." I started following her, when I heard screams behind me. I groaned, and looked behind me. Of course, it was an empousa. I closed my eyes and sighed. "Ok, I have a quick and easy way to get out of this, but you have to do exactly as I say? Got it?" I didn't wait for her to answer. "Ok, just, for as long as you can, when I say 'go' hold your breath, and close your eyes. Then, count to ten, and when you open your eyes, you'll see a snake. Just open the door for the snake and yourself, and we'll be good. Ok? Ready..." I got my ring ready. "GO!!" I yelled and I rubbed my ring, and suddenly, a toxic green gas was spreding around the room. It wouldn't kill them... but it'd take care of them for now. I felt myself molding, and shifting as the seconds ticked by. Then, I was a black snake, with dark red diamonds of my head.

It seemed like weird instructions but I did as I was told. When I opened my eyes the sight put me in temporary shock. A huge snack was coiled in front of me with green smoke curling around the cafe. The blood drained from my face leaving me pale. Once I got back to my senses, I had no trouble opening the door and scramming from the smoke, letting the snake out behind me. Though the idea of the snake following me didn't seem better than facing an empousa.

After I was let out, I slithered to the corner so I would be out of sight. I morphed untill I was myself again, and stretched. After being a snake in poisenes green smoke, you'd need a little streching and fresh air. I walked back from the corner to meet the astonished gaze of Nikky.
