I look at Dani from across the path. This path was a very commonly traveled path by monsters. The plan was something would come, I'd fire an arrow, and hopefully give Danit a clear drop shot... Far to much that could go wrong... yeah, I probably should've thought this out more. Oh well, I could always run. My thoughts stop. Something down the road moved. I nod at Dani and notch an arrow. It was go time.

Dani notched an arrow as Thais did. Her senses were sharp, like a hawks. She was listening to the forest, a place she had been many times before. Monsters were always in the forest, but this time more than one were coming. Dani could tell by the sounds. The monsters were big too, really big.

She looked to where Thais' arrow was pointing and peered into the forest. Two fully grown cyclopes were coming at them. Dani tried to stay focused, she needed to right?

It was to late to change the plan now, even though there was more then one... I draw the arrow back, and aim through the brush. The arrow pierced the brush and hit it's target. There was a blood curtailing cry, that froze my veins. Cyclopes, two of them at once. I look over at Dani in panic, but trying to hide it. Instinctively I notch and draw another arrow.

Dani looked at Thais and knew what he was thinking, panic. The arrow hit one of the cyclopes in the arm, or something like that. The scream of the monster was enough to petrify some one. The one cyclopes turned and looked at the two demigods, smiling widely. The other seemed to see them too. Dani aimed and let an arrow fly at the firsts one's head. She watched it slice through the air and hit the cyclopes in the eye. Dani backed up a step as another cry pierced the sky.

She reached for another arrow and notched it. The first cyclops held his eye in pain, wailing about how much it hurt. The second seemed to interested in killing Thais and Dani to care. He was coming at them in alarming speed. Dani shot her first arrow, then a few others.

I shot my second arrow at the charging cyclops, but my hand was so shaky it hit the other one. I roll backwards (a move I learned from a kid of Nike) dodging a foot to find another one coming for me. I roll again, and grab on to it's toe. I climb on to it's foot... not the smartest move. it pick it's foot up throwing me all the way to it's shoulder. In case you didn't know, that's a far distance. "Dear gods help me!" I shout. I shoot an arrow attempting to glance it's one eyeball, instead I shoot it's ear. Which seemed just as effective. It throw it's head, hitting me. The air rushed around my ears. I knew I was falling.

Dani raced towards the second cyclopes, seeing the first was injured enough. She shot some arrows at the second one, then panicked. Thais was falling, and one of her arrows had almost hit him!"Thais!" Dani screamed, putting her bow on her back. She grabbed her dagger. Even though the blade was a foot long, it seemed tiny to the cyclopes. She reached for a small knife and threw it at the monster's face.Dani looked at Thais, who was still falling. She looked to where he might land and felt somewhat better knowing it was in bushes, which was better than the hard ground.

Dani's aura glowed bright yellow, as it did when she was mad. She went into rage, slashing the monster on it's legs, throwing more knives at it's face until it retreated. When the cyclopes were gone she raced over to Thais.

I sit up rubbing the back of my head. Ichor was coming from more places then I knew I had. "This is where being immortal comes in handy." I sigh looking at myself. "A few broken ribs, a broken arm, judging by the headache a fracture skull. At least I can still move... You alright?"

Dani smiled softly and nodded. She didn't notice the gash on her forehead at all. Dani in fact, didn't really remember fighting the cyclopes at all. She closed her eyes and shook her head. "What just happened? I don't remember that..." Dani said slowly. She never remembered anything when she went into... well rage mode.

"I don't know. I was to busy falling. Whatever you did, it scared them," I stated examining the dust cloud left behind from the retreating cyclopes. I chuckle. "aren't we a sight? the campers'll think we came back from the dead. Maybe that's enough hunting for one day."

Dani smiled, agreeing with Thais completely."Yeah you're right." she said staggering to her feet. Once she stood up she shook her head. Dani had scratches and gashes all over her. Thais was right, they do look like they just died. "Επουλώσει τις πληγές σου" she spoke softly. It was a healing spell. The spell went like, " heal thy wounds", or something. Dani didn't know exactly what she was saying, she just said it knowing it would heal her.

"Great healing spell," I state through a chuckle. "Now can you pull a rabbit out of a hat?" I laugh. I pull out the arrow and twill it around. I wasn't sure I was quite ready to go to the graves... "Where next?"
