| Okay, so I know your aloud to have two people share a Cabin Leadership, but... are you aloud to challenge a cabin leader? If so, what are the requirements. If not, I suggest we add an option where you can challenge a cabin leader, but make a number of requirements to be able to challenge them. | |

| Well... you would need a number of requirements like, a certain amount of posts, you would have to be active, and you would need to be supported by atleast a small number of people in that Cabin. (The number depending on how many people in that cabin.) Then, people who have a character in that cabin can have a vote, and then everyone counts it up. And whoever has the most votes, is the Cabin Leader. Just a thought, so were not always having the same leaders. | |

| There would have to be loads of requirements, though. Pushing those beside, and admin would have to approve you challenging the cabin leader. But, I'm still a no-go on this idea. People spend a lot of time into their cabin leader campaign, just to lose it all to a battle. Whilst it's a good idea, it would then ruin the point of having elections (in my opinion.) We could have some impeachment thing, though. That's loads more civil, and fair. If the cabin leader is doing a bad job, 2/3 of his or her cabiners could vote on demoting them, but they have to break some rules given. Though, I don't really like that idea, either xD | |

| Still, yes, you had an election; but other people are coming in. I think they should have to work extremely hard for it, and there should be a list of requirements, but still, how long has it been since we have had an election? O.O | |

| Like Moo said, I don't believe this is the best option for the site. When we have CL elections, people work hard to get their spots. These spots are earned, and to have to give it up to another person because the other person won a mock battle isn't fair. This is the exact reason we have CL elections. While in the books a cabinmate can challenge authority, CLs take on a new meaning on our site.
I'm sorry, but we won't be having CL Challenges, I can already just stop a debate from occurring.
And to anwser your question, our last elections was under a month ago.

| Yeah, Nico's right. The elections weren't too long ago. I know that if I lost my spot as Poseidon Cabin Leader because someone challenged me, I'd be really upset. So I say no to this idea. | |

| I have to agree with Skye and Nico. I understand if you want to be CL, lots of people do! I just don't think a challenge is the best way to solve it. If someone gives up their CL spot that's different, but a challenge just sounds mean. | |

| Or maybe you could ask to be the Co-Cabin Leader? That worked out for Bre and Selene, but I'm pretty sure you'd have to be pretty qualified to be granted that by the Admins. | |

Well really a CL has to make such a request and then the admin has to approve it.

| To become a co-cabin leader, like Rhyme said, the desired cabin leader must accept it. Then, an admin must approve that. So, basically, you need both of their approval. | |

| Personally, I think the idea is a good idea. As far as I'm concerned, we have an election every year. For this site, I think it may be too long a time. We had a challenge thing on another site I've been to. Of course it was a pokemon forum and they connected via DS and whoever won the battle got the position. BUT THAT'S BESIDE THE POINT. Some new members come in and some old members go out, therefore, the support group of CLs grows and shrinks. So, if the opinion changes enough where a certain amount of people want to elect a new leader, than we can have another mini election for that cabin. Of course, the reason can't just be "I want to be a CL so I don't want you in." It would need reasoning behind your wanting to run. And, maybe instead of an election every 12 months, it could be every 6 months or 5 months? Those are just suggestions. Anyway, just my thoughts, but I believe this idea should be considered. | |

| Well, I dont mean you can just say 'Bam, I challenge you!' I mean, I was thinking ALOT about this, and maybe you could do that, but only like once every 6 months? 12 months? And like I said earlier: There would need to be any many requirements for you to challenge them. Then, the members of THAT cabin vote. And maybe only members who have been active members for awhile can vote? So we know that someone isnt just making up someone to aid themselves in the vote Anyways, what im trying to say is: It wouldnt just be an RP where the person with the lucky posts gets to be Cabin Leader. | |

| 1 admin said no, there are 3 more, therefore, this still has a chance, plus there are mods left. And we can still tweak and compromise the idea here as well. | |

| Okay. I never doubted you would, knowing how persistent some of you can be, but take my word for it. For a notion like this to pass, you would need all Admin's approval, and for us all to be on the same page. I don't appreciate being belittled, either. 1 Admins opinion is enough to stop this notion. I'm glad you feel strongly about something, but CLs don't have many events they get to take part in, so 1 year gives them only a few opportunities to be a CL. Our current system works great, and before we make any changes, we will be staying the same and letting everything straighten itself out. Several major changes are about to occur, and I don't want to add this to the pile. Members voted, Cabin Leaders were elected. It is the best thing we can do to make everyone happy. Please just trust me on this. | |

| Okay, I understand, this debate is closed. But I, myself, do plan on posting a revised version of this up for discussion. This isn't to say I'm ignoring what you said Nico, that's the last thing I want to imply, I'm just saying Toast had some good points in this and if we bring those out along with some major adjustments, this may work. | |
