Mark smiled and looked at her while wrapping one arm around her and he kissed her forehead lightly "True, but with our training we'd kick its a** back to tartarus" He stretched back a little and cracked his back "so then, seeing as we have spent the whole day together, I don't know anything about you...like any talents I should be aware of if we end up fighting a monster anytime soon?"

Nevaeh laughed a bit. "Well, my mom is the goddess of marshes and swamps so I'm stronger when I'm in a marsh and swamp. I can control certain plants, like flowers," she told Mark proudly. "She also has a small influenece on love," Nevaeh said in a small voice. She didn't know if that bothered Mark. All she knew was she inherited plant powers, nothing more.

Mark grinned lightly and said in a light playful tone "So, that's how you got me to like you this quick huh??" He smiled and shrugged lightly "Well that's cool, Unlike me the 'Jack-of-all-trades' master of none" He looked around "So like what certain plants?"

Nevaeh blushed when Mark said that's how he got him that fast. "No, I can't control love," Nevaeh said, smiling. Nevaeh thought for a moment. What plants could she control? "Well, I can control flowers, grass, and if I'm lucky, sometimes vines," she told Mark. She gave mark a smile. "Being a son of Hermes isn't that bad."

Mark smiled and nodded, he thought it was cool she could control plants in any case. "Yeah being a son of Hermes does have its perks, like getting away with anything stolen-wise and actually knowing road maps without needing one so I don't get lost"

Nevaeh smiled. She reached up and brushed a piece of Mark's hair out of his eyes. "I wish I could do that. I get lost all the time!" Nevaeh cried, throwing her arms in the air for effect. She laughed a bit and looked at Mark's eyes. His eyes seemed to be a bright gold. "You have nice eyes," she muttered.

Mark smiled and laughed lightly at her arms throwing up, He kept his arm around her and drew her t him and he kissed her forehead lightly "Thanks, I like my eyes...got them from my mom...you have beautiful eyes as well"

Nevah blushed. She was only told she had nice green eyes. Mark's were better though. "Your are better," Nevaeh whispered. She leaned in a kissed Mark on the lips. Nevaeh felt happy. Someone actually cared about her.

Mark kissed her back and smiled and held her closely, not really wanting to let go of her, until she wanted him too but he hoped that wouldn't be for awhile. H stared into her green eyes, he didn't know why or how but he felt them pierce through him so he smiled, feeling that finally someone cared for him as much as he cared for her."Well I think yours are better, they are so calming and so vibrant that it is entrancing..."

Nevaeh blushed and hit his arm playfully. "Stop it," she muttered. But, she would never admit it, she loved how Mark complamented her. She studied him. "Your eyes are gold. No one has gold eyes," she told him, smiling. she leaned forward and leaned her head on his chest. she hugged him.

Mark smiled and hugged her gently and rested his chin lightly on the top of her head "yeah that's true my eyes are an unnatural occurrence but that's what helps make any person different from each other" He moved his head and gently ran his hand through her hair and continued to hold her with one arm "So, other than being amazing with plants, any other talents I should be aware of so I know what to expect if a monster ruined our evening?"

Nevaeh laughed a bit. "Nope, that's it, really. Plants are the only thing I can control," she told Mark, smiling. That would just be their luck. A monster coming and ruining everything. "I can't really run fast," she said with a smirk. Nevaeh reached up and kissed Mark quickly on his lips.

Mark smiled as she kissed him quickly and he leaned down and kissed her slightly longer then looked at her "Well then I might just have to carry you around if we have to run somewhere" He looked over at the sun as it dipped lower so only half was showing and the light made the water look like a lake of golden drachmas and he smiled thinking of how his father Hermes once sent him a stack of twenty drachmas to keep in touch with home for awhile...

Nevaeh laughed. "Well, that would be funny," she teased, smiling. She watched as the sun set all the way. She sighed happily. "The sunset looks really nice," she whispered to Mark. Soon though, Nevaeh started tapping her finger or foot. Her ADHD was gettting to her.

Mark noticed this and smiled, his own ADHD was starting to act up, with his drumming his fingers lightly on the sand. He looked at her and said "SO, before our ADHD starts kicking our butts, wanna go for a walk or anywhere in particular you would want to go?"

Nevaeh smiled and jumped up. "Yes, let's go to the forest," she told Mark. She loved the forest. Plants and flowers, so Nevaeh's thing. She slipped on her shirt and jean shorts over her bikini. Lacing up her Converse, she looked up and smiled at Mark. "C'mon slowpoke," she teased.
