I walked in with my girlfriend Amelia. It was an 'eventful night. Or day. Depends on what you call eventful. I was really tired.

I smiled as I walked into the cabin with Brandon. I said, "You know? I am actually starting to like this place. And though I know that it's going to be different than my previous life before all of this madness, I'm okay with that. Coming here is like starting out with a full block of ice or a blank canvas. It's what I shape my being here into that counts not what happened in the past. Today I started my life anew."

I looked straight into her eyes. "If you don't feel comfortable with anything, then you can talk to be about it." I reminded her. "And if anyone hurts you. They may never see light again." I tell her. I was't joking. I was willing to punch the light outta anyone for this girl. Thats called crazy, mad in love.

I smiled knowing that if anything were to happen to me I would be protected. I hugged Brandon and said, "Thank you so much, Brandon. You have no idea how much this means to me." All my life it was up to me to protect myself and so I had become fierce in battle not showing any mercy if I was prepared. On the rare occasion that I was caught off guard I could run and lose them pretty easily most of the time. The two draconae earlier were the exception and I would have crossed the camps boundaries without having to fight them if I had not tripped. I sat down on the bed smiling up at Brandon and I patted the spot next to me for him to sit down as well.

I sat down behind her. I held her tight to me. I was happy I finally found someone that I could love. I hope this lasts. I really did. I promised that I would never do anything to hurt her. "Forever and Always." I promised.

I smiled and said, "I feel the same way, Brandon. I could never love somebody as much as I love you." I laid down next to him hoping he would lay with me and I closed my eyes peacefully. The moon shone in through the cracks of the cabin walls.

I looked at her. She looked so peaceful while sleeping. I fell aslepp next ot her. I held her close. I didn't want to lose her. And I would never will in my power. I kissed her head and fell asleep. A dreamless sleep.

I fell asleep as well smiling as Brandon's arm came around me. I had a dream in which I was sitting in my room back at my mansion. I was doing homework that my Dad had assigned me. All of a sudden a man came into the room that I didn't recognize. I asked, "Who are you?" I didn't get a verbal response. At least not one that I could understand. The man let out a terrified gasping sound and fell to the ground. Behind him was a black robed figure with a knife. He snickered and said, "Amelia, I'll find you and when I do you will pay for what you did to my brethren." I then felt a giant blast that hurt my entire body. I jolted out of bed screaming and then started crying. I was so confused and I didn't know if my father was okay or if he was dead just like the man I just saw in my dream.

I woke up in the middle of the night to Amelia crying. "Shh, shh. Its okay. Its just a dream. Calm down. It's okay." I camforted. I hugged her. The other ingored her, due to the fact that people scream and wake up all the time in the middle of the night. "Tell me. What happened in youu dream." I asked. It was important for her to tell someone, because most demigod dreams are dangerous. And most of the time, they mean something.

I looked at Brandon and said, "I don't know. There was a man I didn't even know and there was this robed person that I couldn't see any features of. The robed person killed the guy with a knife and then said that he was coming for me. He was at my house. I'm scared that my father might be dead." Tears streamed down my eyes due to the fear I felt.

"Amelia. You must know that demigod dreams usually have a second meaning. We could Iris message him to see of he'se okay. Right now, you need to sleep right now." I told her. I hoped her dad would be alright. She would break if her dad wasn't okay. I was pretty sure of that. Her tears soaked into my shirt once again. I hugged her tightly. She didn't deserve to be messed around like that. It was cruel of the fates. She was innocent. Why can't they just leave us along for now? I wondered.

I nodded and said, "I'll try to get some sleep. I just hope he's okay. I have to check first thing in the morning." I then got back into bed and laid my head down on the pillow. I closed my eyes and tried to get back to sleep.

I was sure that was her first demigod dream. I held an arm around her and closed my eyes. I teird to sleep, but I couldn't. I don't know why, but sometimes when I needed rest the most, I couln't sleep. It's annoying. Trust me. I stared ah her peaceful expression. She was so cute when she was like that. All worry free. Did I tell you that I loved with my life right now? Yes? To bad. I love her with my life, I love her with my life. I love her with my life.

I slept peacefully until the morning when the sun shone in through the cabin. I opened my eyes and then the worry began to sink in again. I got up and walked down to the lake. I really needed to see if my father was okay.

I woke up. The sun shone through the window. And Amelia wan;t there. I started to panic. She better not have done anything stupid. I got out of bed, changed, and ran out of the cabin to the lake. She was probrably there. I saw her figure and ran towards her.

I looked across the water and then splashed some water and threw a drachma inside. I said, "Goddess, Isis, please allow me to see my father." The message remained blank and a strange monotonous voice said, "Isis is busy right now but I can direct you to who you're looking to talk to. Let me see... That's strange I can't find your father anywhere. I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I hope everything's okay." The spray then disappeared and I fell to my knees completely broken. If my father was missing there was no way of telling if he was alive or dead. I cried while I sat on my legs. I didn't notice Brandon there.

A\N: Isis is the egyptian godess and wife of Osiris. Iris is the greek godess of rainbows. (Just to let you know:)

I found her, sitting beside the lake, crying. I hugged her from behind. "We'll find him." I promised. She's innocent. Why do the gods have to do this to her. Why? Why can't the gods just leave us demigods alone for once. Stop making us and their lovers the targets for their enemies. It's not fair. I'm sure everything on olmpys right now is all fine and dandy. Everyone was worryfree. everyone didn't even give a crap what we were going through.

I looked at Brandon and said, "You promise we'll find him? I can't stand to think if something bad happened to him. He's all I really have of my family. I have no grandparents and no complete brothers or sisters." I looked at him hoping he would help me find my father.

I kissed her lightly on the lips. "Yeah, I promise." I said. I would try everything in my power to help her. I was willing to do everything I could do. I promised myself. But something at the back of my brain nagged me. It was dangerous promising her. It would risk our relationship. I was willing to take that risk.
