Helena entered the cabin, looking nervously at everyone. Although she was a bit freaked out at the amount of people around, she tried at a smile. "Hello, I'll be your new cabin mate, and well I guess, another half sister added to the family," she grinned, "I'm Helena Zacharias. It's very nice to meet you all."

Shaylei snorted as her brothers and sisters barely took notice to the new camper.She stood and smiled lightly"don't mind them...welcome to cabin 10!"Shay laughed lightly sticking out her hand."Shaylei Coal.Nice to meet you Helena."Shaylei grinned tossing red curls behind her back.She wore a plain white tee shirt and jean shorts with pink converse sneakers.She wore no make up yet she still looked stunning.

Helena looked at the kind girl who had offered her hand to her, she smiled. "Thank you very much for welcoming me here, Shaylei." She took the girl's hand and shook it. "In the place I used to live in, everyone wouldn't stop bugging me, so I kind of like it that here no one is making much of a big deal about me." She went to one of the empty bunks and set down her stuff, and lay down... feeling very tired.

Shaylei smiled at the Helena. She looked tired and Shay understood why, she remembered her entry of camp absentmindedly rubbing the scar on her neck. "don't worry it doesn't get much more welcome a lot of us are friendly but some can be uh...how do I put this vain."Shaylei grinned. "And I hope you love vast amounts of perfume."She couldn't help but mention that it was necessary to warn everybody that came into the cabin about the choking amounts of perfume.

Helena grinned at Shaylei, "Are you kidding? I love how it smells in here. It smells like my room, but with more perfume. And more... well, people." She slid her trunk under the bed and rubbed her temples, "I think I'm gonna like it here. A lot."

Shaylei quirked her head."your room smells like this?"She gestured around the pink room."I hope you do enjoy it here Helena.I enjoy it here even if I do choke everytime I enter."Shay laughed tugging on a red curl."Once again welcome to Camp and Cabin 10!"She smiled brightly

Shaylei was very kind to Helena, she found herself grinning. "Yes, Camp Half-Blood really is the place to be. It's better than the monster infested world I used to live in. And don't worry about the perfume, I'm used to the choking smell already." She stretched her arms and crashed on the bed.

Shay smiled brightly at the girl.She seemed nice enough even if she did like the choking smell of perfume,Shay wrinkled her nose at the thought."I agree this place is awesome...I've lived here 3 years."She sighed at the thought of her father.

Helena noticed that Shaylei sighed a bit, "Is something wrong, Shaylei?" It looked like she could see a bit of sadness in her half-sister's eyes.

Shaylei smiled brightly knowing she was letting her sadness show. "its nothing just thinking of my dad...he just dumped me here...watched me get attacked by a fury and drove off like I wasn't his daughter."She smiled lightly rubbing the scar on the back of her neck in memory. "No worries I'll be fine."

Helena frowned, "I'm sorry, Shaylei. I didn't mean to... I'm very sorry." She took her half-sister's hand and squeezed it lightly.

Shay smiled lightly.Helena didn't mean to trigger bad memories."No its fine you didn't know...It happens new campers always see this."She gestured to the scar covering the back of her neck smiling."I always say...Its my show of bravery to show that all of us are different."She sighed."Its not completely true but only a select few do know the truth."She smiled lightly."congratulations for taking the time to get to know me.Not many do so I both thank you and salute you."She giggled smiling at her half sister or in her case the only sisters and brothers she had were her cabinmates.Shaylei squeezed Helena's hand back.

Helena grinned broadly, "Then you must be the bravest person I've ever met. And I'm glad I got the chance to know you. Thanks as well for being there for me, of course." She smiled as they both held hands.

Shay smiled brightly nodding.She didn't worry about hiding things from her."I'll always be there."She grinned."Thats what sisters are for."

Helena grinned, "Thank you so much, Shaylei. I appreciate you being here with me so much." She hugged Shaylei, happy that she had finally made a good friend, and confidante in one of her siblings. "Promise me that if you ever have any problems, tell me. And I promise, if you want me to, I'll tell you everything that's troubling me, if you're willing to listen." She smiled, shyly.
