I run and slip on the bank of the lake, falling on my butt. "Beat ya!" I yell at Aelia. "Looks like I'm trumping you on land and in water!"

I catch up to Andromeda. "No fair!" I yell. "I got stuck in between a horde of Hermes campers heading towards archery!"

I stick my tongue out at her and dive into the water. I love the water. This is where I was meant to be. I shoot up to the surface and order it to become like land. I stand on top and yell at Aelia, "Come on in! The water's fine!"

I cannonball in, providing a decent splash. I surface and shake my hair. "You ready to beat me in that race of yours?" I ask.

I do the breast stroke all the way to the tree and stop. I don't see Andy anywhere, but hey, for all I know, she could have swum halfway around the world by now.

I swim to the tree and sit at the bottom of the lake. I look up and see that Aelia has made it. I shoot up and say, "I'm going to count the first race as a tie because of those pesky Hermes kids. But I won, fair and square here!"

"Fine, fine!" I say. I glance up and notice Percy, on Blackjack. I shield my eyes and yell up, "Hey Percy, hi Blackjack!"
"Hi Andy, and Andy's friend," he laughs.
"This is Aelia, daughter of Athena," I introduce.

He laughs, and I laugh too. "What're you doing?"
"Oh, stuff," he says vaguely, and flies off.
"Well, bye!" I say in a mock annoyed tone, and roll my eyes at Aelia. "Percy. Ever so mysterious," I wink.

I smile. "Nobody said I can't do--this!" I sit on top of a geyser in the water so she can't reach me. I splash her, laughing maliciously.

"I hate you!" I yell up to her, laughing. This is the fun I can have everyday when I go into the water with Andy. I realize laughing was a mistake as water comes down at me and gets into my mouth. Unfortunately, that only makes me laugh more.

I approach the lake, looking for Andromeda. Chances are she'll be with Aelia, as always. I arrive at the lake, and as expected Andy and Aelia are fooling around in the water. "Hey guys," I call out.

"Sure, why not ?" I quickly strip down to my bikini and jump in. "Guess what ? Travis and I smuggled in some Coke and chips, and we were planning on meeting at the beach tonight after curfew. You guys up for it ?"

"Hey, Ebony!" I say. "Oh, Cokes and chips? How could I say no! I am totally in!" For an Athena camper, I'm pretty leiniet (sp?) about following the rules and such.
