Eli Ken
I winced the whole time Seth carried me to the hospital thingy. He set me down on a cot. I winced. "Hold on," Seth said. He walked away to get something. I looked at Sam. "Told you!" I cried smiling.

I glared at him and leaned against the wall next to his cot. I crossed my arms. "Told me what?" I asked with a sigh. Kat was sitting on the ground pulling out her ipod. She sat cross legged and scrolling through her play lists. She didn't even want to get treated for her arm. I envied her ignorance. I looked at Eli again. He looked terrible. What if something really, really bad happened and he couldn't walk again? I wouldn't be able to live with myself.

I cracked a grin. "We should've stayed. But, it doesn't matter. At least I know you love me," I said. I tried to sit up but fell back. I grumled under my breath. Stupid injuries.

She cracked a wide grin then went back to scrolling through her Ipod. "Okay," I said, "It's my fault we went back out. I'm sorry. You wouldn't be like this if I hadn't been so freaking stubborn." I rested my chin on my hands and looked at him sadly.

I smiled. "It's okay. Just a broken leg and arm. Nothing to worry about," I told her. I smiled weakly at her. Seth came back with a lot of things. "This may--no, this is gonna hurt," Seth told me. I glared at him.

I knit my eyebrows together looking at Eli sadly. Seth came back and told Eli this was going to hurt. Oh joy. More things for me to feel guilty about. I took Eli's hand in mine softly and sat down next to him. I couldn't believe this was happening. Why to him? Why not to me?

I lfocused on Sam's face. "Just make it quick Seth," I told him. He nodded and went to work. Dam this hurt. I winced once in a while when he set my leg. Ow. I winced even more when he set my arm. He gave me some amborsia. "Here," he told me.

"You sound like you're in pain, dude," I said not looking up at Eli. "What happened again?" Sam whipped her head to the side so she could glare at me. I just shrugged and debated with myself if it was a good time to start bothering Seth again. My guess was a no, and Sam would probably kill me if I made him mess up.

I glared at Kat and gave her a WTF gesture. I never let go of Eli's hand the entire time. I was silently praying to the gods for Eli hopeing he would be okay. I know I was over exagerating but I couldn't help it!

I rolled my eyes at Kat. "No kidding Sherlock," I said. I winced again. I put the piece of amborisa in my mouth with my good hand. It tasted like cotton candy. Yum. I sighed as Seth started to wrap my broken bones. I looked at Sam. "You okay?"

I raised my eyebrows at him. "You're asking me that?" I demand. "You're the one that got slapped into a tree."
"I think I got a few bruises from those accorns!" Kat yells. "You should be happy I shielded you!" I rolled my eyes.
"I'm perfectly fine," I assured him. Besides the iritble annoyance my shoulder was giving me. But I didn't say that out loud. Eli would go all baserk.

I rolled my eyes at Kat. "Yes acrons. You should get an award," I said with scracasm. I smiled at Sam. "Don't worry about Eli. He should be fine," I said. I knit my eyebrows together.

I looked at Sam. "Do I get a kiss?" I asked her smirking. I'm sure she would slap me.

I dug in my pockets, found a left over acorn and threw it at Seth as hard as I could, which was pretty hard. "Acorns hurt! Tree nymphs aren't just twigs and leves you know!"

I flicked Eli on the nose because that was pretty much the only place that didn't hurt him. "No," I tell him. "You don't," Kat rolled her eyes at me as if saying, HA! Fail. I glared her way.

I rubbed my head. "Ow," I muttered. I picked up the acorn and threw it back at Kat. "Ha!" I yelled.

I made a poty face. "Why?" I asked Sam. I gave her puppy dog eyes.

I dodged the acorn he flung at me. "Ha! Yourself." I said casually and looked back to my ipod. Guys are idiots. I smiled at the thought.

"Becuase," I said, "You owe me ice cream. Remember? A couple hours ago at the begining of the battle we were like, when we servive this we're going to get ice cream in the city. But you had to get yourself hurt," I held his hand up to my lips and kissed it. "Happy?"

I grumbled under my breath. "Girls," I said under my breath.

I grinned. "Sure, let's go!" I said. I tried to get up but fell back down. I grumbled under my breath. "Stuoid battle," I grumbled under my breath.

"Guys!" I huffed at Seth irritibly.

I rolled my eyes. "You know I was being sarcstic," I tell him. "Stay down. You're hurt. We're not going out there while you're like this." I leaned in towards him more and whispered. "I can't protect you all by myself. I'm not that strong."

I smiled when Sam said that. "But I can protect you," I smiled. I kissed her on the lips. I smiled under the kiss. I loved her.

"Ew," I said crinckling my nose in disgust as Sam and Eli shared a smooch. I looked at Seth with and eyebrow raised as if asking, Are they for real? And then it hit me. "Katty? Really?" I moved my hand into a claw like gesture and pretended to scratch Seth. I gave him a look now that said, Really?

I ignored Kat and kissed Eli back softly. Protect me, Psh, sure. Not in this state he's not. But I wasn't going to ruin the moment and say that out loud.

I swatted Kat's hand away. "Yes Katty. Now go steal something,"I teased. I cracked a smile. She would probably punch me in the gut or something.

I kissed Sam back. I tried to raise my arm to bring her closer but winced. I pulled away and looked at my arm. Ow. I sighed. "Guess I'll be stuck here a while."

"I already did, Motega," I snapped. "I think you might be looking for it later." I rolled my eyes and went back to scrolling through my ipod listening to Eli and Sam's sappy love talk. Gag me with a spoon. Yuck.

"I'll be right here with you," I promised leaning back. "Then, when you're all better, I'll buy you ice cream. Is that good with wittle Eli?" I asked with a smile. I held his hand in mine again.

I smiled. "Sounds like a date," I told Sam. I winked at her. I sat up slowly, trying not to move a lot.

"I can do things you only dream of doing," I sang to Seth. I looked at him with raised eyebrows, and a cocky grin. Of course, I was just being my cocky self. It was normal for me. It's not like I don't do this all the time.

I cringed at the sight of Eli moving. He may not look that bad anymore, but him in pain was enough to see. "Try not to hurt yourself anymore then you already are."

"At least I can out run anybody!" I snap at him, a smug look now on my face. Hermes was so better, but we're just picking favorites of our parents. That's not a very good thing, especially now when the gods are bound to be listening in, maybe even checking up on their children silently.

"Psh," I say and roll my eyes. "just a broken bone, sure, Eli. I'm fine and in a way better condition then you are. Don't strain yourself. Take it easy, okay?" I smile lightly at him.

I rolled my eyes. "Sure, Kat. But, I could beat you at archery," I told her. I crossed my arms and stuck my tounge at her.

I rolled my eyes. "You sure? I'm just worried," I told her honestly. I looked at her shoulder. It seemed okay. Needed to be fixed more.
