Alissa raised an eye brow. "Huh and why is that? What one earth would I do?" she asked. Faye was responsible, she would never do anything to hurt Alex. Yet he was overprotective. Aissa didn't think of herself as someone who would cheat on thier boyfriend. That was the Aphrodite kids jobs, not her's

"UUeeerrmm...." i realized that that had been something I shoudln't have said. "nothing!" I didn't want Alissa to think that I thought that...she would do something. "I know that ou woudn't do something, but the boy might do something. Girls as pretty as you, they don't stay single...and when left alone..." I let the last part hang off, hopefully Alissa would see that I knew that she woudln't do anything...

Alissa smiled, happy with Jake's answer. "Okay. Thanks." she said when he called her pretty. Alissa wasn't often called pretty. She liked the comment all the same. "So what now?" she asked looking at Jake. her blue eyes shimmered in the passing sun.

"Uhmm...I don't know." I said. "I would say...maby you and me could, I dunno train but..." my eyes wanderd to my leg. It would be hard enough for me to get out my bow. "wait, Alissa, I have to thank you. If it wasn't for you, I'd probobly be dead right now." I told her, hoping that she woudn't slightly freak out.

Alissa gave Jake a puzzled expression. "What?" she said stupidly. Alissa was confused. Why- how did she save Jake? She would've in any circimstance of course, but she hadn't seen him in forever.

'If you hadn't taught me how to use a sword...well...it's a long story. If you want, I guess that I could tell you." I said. It was a long story, and thankfully I hand't died.

Alissa smiled. "Oh... cool!" she said with another smile. "Can I hear the story? I've got time." Alissa replied, she loved a good story. She liked them more when they were true, it just added to the suspense.

"Well, I was minding my own buisness when I heard a...a little girl scream. I ran to were the noise was when I saw a monster right over Jessie. I jumped from the cliff, and thats how I broke my leg. But at that moment, I could care less. I limped/ran over to the monster and took out my bow, witch he then snapped in half. I picked up a sword and stabbed it. Therefore saving my life and my brothers. The end." I told her, leaving out some of the minor parts.

Alissa's eyes were wide. "A cliff? You jumped of a freaking cliff? What one earth?!" she said, her voice getting quite loud. Did he have any common sense?

"It was a small cliff..." I said, not wanting Alissa to freak out. "I've done more dangerus stuff." I imidiatly took back what I said. That would just make her worry even more...even if it was the truth.

Alissa's face went white. "What? More dangerous? Jake! You could've died! Small cliff or not." she said with a frown. Alissa cared about him, she didn't want him dying for sure.

"I didn't die, though. I just broke my leg. It's not that big of a deal." I told her. "Just...just relax, ok?" I didn't what Alissa to get all worried about me. I was ok...mostly. "All that matters is that I'm ok, and your ok...and so is my brother." I added.

Alissa frowned, but did calm down. "Uh huh." she mumbled. Alissa played with some water droplets in her hands and splashed them at Jake. "That's for breaking your leg and scaring me." she said before kissing his lips lightly. "That's for everything else." Alissa said with a smile.

I could feel my cheeks turning red. I still was't all that...good around girls. That was my brothers thing. "I, I guess that I'm sorry to. For scaring you like that." I told her.

Alissa smiled, and felt her cheeks go warm. "It's okay. I kinda overreacted." she said shrugging slightly. Alissa smiled, Jake was really cute when he blushed.

I gave a sigh of relief. "So, wanna go on a walk?" I asked her, that was kind of our thing. For some reason, I enjoyed going on walkes with Alissa, or by myself, really. It didn't matter in my opinion. I bent over and began picking up my crutches.

Alissa raised an eyebrow. "Huh can you?" she asked. Jake wasn't in the condition where you just ' go on walks'. He was injured, Alissa didn't want him hurt more. that would be bad.

"Yea, I can walk. How do you think I got here?" I said. I hoiseted myself up with only a little difficulty. "See?" I told Alissa. "I'll be ok. No need to worry."

Alissa smiled and replied, "I thought you flew here." She got up and stood next to him for a moment, still considering making him rest. Alissa decided a walk would be fine, not like anything would happen right? She looked at him with her blue eyes and smiled softly. "Ready?" Alssa asked.

"Yea, you bet I am." I told her. "Don't worry, I'll be fine." I still didn't want Alissa to worry. I headed tord the path that Alissa and I had walked on when we had first met.
