Crystal Ball of Worries: The Neverending Party

Welcome my friend to our great party
One that'll never end
There's a couple of host/hostesses
Some great technicians
And plenty of partiers
'Cause you see thus far we have gone on a year
Bit over a year actually
We have kept running and running and running
But not everything's cheery as be

You see, some time ago problems a-muck
With our big spinning crystal ball
It was simply our symbol
Our Pride
Our Unity
And spun with flashing lights
But then the ball shaked
Trembled it did
And new problems began to arise
But no one could see
Could see in fact
The problems beyond their eyes

A hostess had left
And in her place
A new one had been assigned
But this hostess was wrong
And her and her friends
All overrode the staff one night
So then the party was under new management
No one had seen it come
The good times were gone
Chaos had won
Yet still people could not see

So then the ball grew more cracks
People fought back
But everyone wanted normalcy
So the hostesses yelled
Hiding within their shell
Saying everything was fine

The ball kept shaking
Falling and breaking
It was not going to survive
But the protestors shut
People a-line a-muck
They could not say a word

Then the crystall ball's fall
Had went and hurt them all
The chaos had finally won
Pieces shattered everywhere
All the hurtings were fair
The new wounds opening up inside

People with all their cuts
Their bruises, their ruts
Had to do something 'bout this mess
And so it was cleaned up
The hostesses were fired
And everything was up to snuff

So now things have changed
Peace has come on the land
And the people have been freed
Freed of all the strictness
The wrongs that had been done
The old crystal ball's treachery

A new one was in its place
People went back to normal
Just danced around the place
Now more people have joined
The space had gotten bigger
And the people are even cheerier

But now the staff has gone sour
Things are closing up
The ball is shaking again once more
The technicians must fix it
And so must the host/hostesses
And most importantly all the members
But now ignorance has spread
People have once again
Forgotten all about the past
When the old crystal ball fell
Leaving pain everywhere
And ruining the party for all

So my reader my reader
Welcome to the party
Which is now filled with ignorance
Do you see the ball shaking
Failing and quaking
Or will you just ignore it all?
