Polishing the Fish-Ponies [Open to One]

Tyson was back at Camp. Again. He was a kid, and kids can't work every awake moment of their life. Not cool.

Tyson stood in his floral apron tidying his bunk. It was a worn-out bunk, with the mattress slowly creeping lower and lower, down to the floor. It was slowly breaking under Tyson's weight. The Cyclopes was a Cyclopes, and with that came a little extra body mass.

Tyson finished with his pedantic bunk-tidying, and moved on to polishing the little metal fish-ponies (Hippocampi) hanging from the ceiling he had made.

The Cabin was mostly empty, but Tyson could tell there were a few more Campers than there had been during his last visit. Someone walked into the doorway, a silhouette with the sun shining behind them...

Kylee walked into cabin 3. She was sad, depressed. Breaking up with Aiden was hard. She spotted Tyson, her cylcops half brother. "Hi Tyson..." Kylee said trying to look happy. Happy, huh the one thing she didn't remember how to be right now.

Tyson frowned, "You are sad," he said. You could never hide feelings from Tyson - it was one of his Cyclopes talents to be able to sort of read feelings. Some people found it freaky. Some people liked it because it made it easier to tell him stuff.

"What is the matter?"

Kylee nodded with a frown. "Well. I broke someone's heart, and it's breaking me." she said sadly. Kylee propped herself up on pillows on her bed. She liked pillows they were so comfy.

Tyson paused for a second or too. Then, he walked over to Kylee, and awkwardly patted her on the back with the force of a rhino or two. "It will be okay!" he told her. The Cyclopes really didn't know what to say. He was great at cheering people up - it was just this subject he wasn't as good with.

Kylee smiled softly. She felt somewhat better, but not much. " Thanks Tyson." she said kindly. He was trying to help, which others didn't put a care too. That meant a lot for the Poseidon girl[color]

"It is okay!" he beamed at Kylee. But she still seemed... sad. Obviously. Her smile still carried sadness. Tyson could see that. While he thought of what he could do to help, he tinkered with a little building kit he always carried, his single calf-brown eye still looking at Kylee, and full of concern.
