I sighed and laid back on my bunk. I had the bottom bunk so I could see everything. “I know I am a daughter of Apollo, but I don’t feel so hot” I mumbled because I didn’t think anyone could hear me. I had just arrived and I was already missing my best friend, Layla. On top of that, I was lonely. Really lonely. I let my fingers trace of my surfboard and thought about riding the waves back home in California. I was so far from there. I wondered if the waves were as high here as they were back home.
