| Ok, I've read all of theses posts, and I still don't quite know how this works. Where do you try out for a connon charrie? And if I wanna' try out for Aphrodite, would I have to get rid of my big three charrie? And is there a special RP topic that have all the cannon charries? | |

| You're supposed to send that application form within this thread to the admins through PM when tryouts start. Aphrodite is not one of the Big Three, so I doubt she counts. As for the last question not that I know of. Let some staff member chance upon this and answer/confirm my previous answers. | |

Brief description of the character: disliking of boys in general, caring towards her Hunters, good archer, Goddess of the Hunt. Able to look however she likes.

Why do you deserve/want to roleplay this character? Becasue I know a lot about her, and she's my favorite goddess, and I know how to roleplay.

Brief description of the character: Good archer, a good trainer, caring towards his students. A brown beard, long brown hair, and a lower body of a white stallion.

Character you're applying for:
Poseidon, God of the Seas.
Brief description of the character:
Poseidon seems to have a rather strange personality. In some instances and ways, he is exactly like his brothers Zeus and Hades. More specifically; Poseidon has Pride, though as one of "The Big 3" Gods, that's to be expected. However, he is also extremely Stubborn which is a trait that both Poseidon and Zeus possess, however Poseidon seems to be the mature one of the two and is much more reasonable, and also more capable of listening to reason when it's heard. Poseidon is also majorly noted for a last trait which virtually every God and Goddess possesses; he is capable of being extremely temperamental.
Aside from these, Poseidon has been shown to be both very respectful, more specifically to his brother Zeus; As well as extremely loving, caring and a proud father of Perseus. Unlike most of the Gods in Olympus, Poseidon on frequent occasions goes out of his way to 'indirectly' help his children and give them advice if he feels they need it. Poseidon also seems to have a rather strange sense of humour which can often lead others to wonder if he's serious or joking. Unlike most of the other Gods, Poseidon considers the Sea to be his natural home and has shown to be extremely protective, as seen when he chose to defend the Seas instead of Olympus; claiming that the Seas are his home.
Poseidon has indirectly been called "good-looking", more specifically when his brother Hades made a comment to his son Perseus and told him the latter had inherited his father's good-looks. Poseidon has black-hair as well as a neatly trimmed beard that is also black. Fitting in with his title as "God of the Seas"– Poseidon has Green eyes which have been described as being 'sea-green' but he has also been noted with having nicely tanned skin. Around his eyes and cheeks, he has been noted with having crinkles, more commonly known as 'smile crinkles' which isn't really a surprise.
When Poseidon is casually dressed, which is almost always, he is seen wearing a Hawaiian shirt of some kind; though he usually changes the shirts and has a various collection of different coloured shirts. To compliments his shirts, he also wears some Khaki shorts and leather sandals, which completes what one would call a 'beach outfit'... Another theme which fits his title. To complete the outfit, however, Poseidon commonly wears an old and battered hat with the words "Neptune's Lucky Fishing Hat"– The name on the hat obviously referencing to his Roman Counterpart, whom is collectively known as Neptune, though the hat itself has been decorated with multiple fishing lures.
Sample Roleplay:
Poseidon sighed softly from his throne within the Ocean, the God wasn’t bothered by anything – he was simply bored and wanted to go for a swim, so to speak. His piercing Green eyes looked around his small throne room and he saw only a few creatures around, none whom would dare question him, or so he had hoped... And as such, Poseidon removed himself from both his throne and his throne room and took off under the water. Because he was the God of the Sea, he didn’t need to breathe oxygen, so staying underwater for prolonged periods of time was quite literally as breathing, especially since the God didn’t need to do it. As Poseidon swam in the cool Oceans of the Indian ocean, he began to notice that numerous Sea creatures were actually swimming with him, which is what usually happened when none other than their God came swimming out in the open waters of the Ocean. However, the swim hadn’t seemed to cure his boredom and Poseidon realized precisely where he was – An island just off the North Coast of the Bahamas and figured some fishing would be fun.
The God of the Sea had exited the water and was actually casually dressed, which is what he preferred, in a mostly blue and yellow Hawaiian shirt depicting a sun rise in the background along with his usual Khaki short and leather Sandals. Accompanying him was both his trusty fishing hat and his Trident, which had actually been transformed into a rather large fishing rod. With his sights set on some ‘deep’ sea fishing, Poseidon flicked his wrist and sent the lure cascading into the water, though as the reel made its usual whizzing and clicking sound from the spinning; It would seem quite strange to anyone standing around, because the reel had been making the same noise for about 30 seconds and the lure hadn’t touched the water yet... Until plop, the lure hit the water about 300 yards away from where Poseidon was standing on the beach and began to dive immediately to where all the ‘small’ fish were. Whether by luck or pure chance, Poseidon’s rod immediately became hooked on a fish and the 'reel' fun was about to begin.
It was extremely easy for the God of the Sea to reel in the ‘small fish’ he had managed to hook up, though to anyone watching it wouldn’t be so simple to explain. The God of the Sea had managed to catch a Short-Finned Pilot Whale, which were commonly seen off the coast of the Bahama’s and this one was roughly 5 meters long and weighed, oh about, 3 tonnes the God had presumed. Certainly nothing worth keeping and since he found that bringing the fish all the way into shore wouldn’t be much, if any, fun at all; He seemingly cut the line, though it didn’t retract into the water – The line itself disappeared like it was made from Magic. Poseidon sighed and twirled his fishing rod around for a moment before he 'accidentally' dropped it and it smashed into the ground; The small island he was standing on suddenly began to shake with a terrible tremor that quickly subsided when Poseidon picked up what was now a trident and tapped the bottom of the weapon on the ground.
The God of the Sea laughed softly at his joke, though there was someone who hadn’t found it funny... Was someone the right thing to say? Maybe, something? Nevertheless, the sky above darkened almost immediately and a bolt of lightning flash brightly across the almost black canvas – The thunder echoing to show Zeus’ obvious rage at his brother just trying to have a bit of fun. “Oh it was only a joke, don’t be so melodramatic.” Poseidon said rather loudly, he knew his brother could hear him; which is precisely why he had said it. Not wanting to deal with the drama from the beloved ‘God of Theatre’ – Poseidon thought it best that he retreat back to his palace under the sea and continue on with the day ahead – Which is exactly what the God of the Sea decided he would do, he figured he had enough for one day: But tomorrow is a whole new adventure! (;
Why do you deserve/want to roleplay this character?
I don't feel anyone deserves anything, though I would love to portray Poseidon as I feel I can play his part excellently and give justice to one of the most powerful men in existence... Plus he's my favorite Greek God.

| It's only the admins that deal with canons. And each application they get they post in the canon topic and discuss. After a while, and after they have at least three-four "yes's", they decide who gets what. | |
