FAYE'S B-DAY!!! she's 14!!! YAY!{open}

I saw some scars. "The other me did that?" I asked. If he was even a little like me, then he would have not done that at all. That makes me even ngrier than I already was, which wasn't good.

Faye nodded sighing a bit. "Yeah, I don't blame you because I know. Carter on the other hand... he's never thought of you the same. Never. If I mention you Carter finds another thing to talk about." she explained. The past was hard for Carter. Memories that would never fade.

"He tried to train him the way my dad trained me didn't he?" I asked. I meant my adopted father but Faye probably knew that. My father trained me and I am a great fighter for it, but... well on my sleevless shirt I was wearing at this moment in time, most poeple can clearly see my scars on my chest, arms, neck, shoulder, and hands. My dad was a brutal fighter. My other me should have known not to train others the way he trained me.

Faye nodded. "Alex, Carter died for a minute that night. He died. An Apollo kid brought him back, but Alex HE DIED!" she said feeling little tears come back from that night. "I know it's not your fault, but that's what Carter sees when he looks at you." Faye said quietly.

Something snapped. Everyone who has wronged me here at this camp is lucky that it was my birthday, cause if it wasn't... Well there would be blood. I clenched my fist to the point where my very shirt fingernails started to dig into my skin.
"Hm," I remarked calmly but this is when most people can tell my voice is full of rage.

Faye stood up and unwrapped Alex's fist. "Alex, calm down. I'll tell Carter tonight. He'll understand.. hopefully." she said sighing. Faye looekd over to where Carter was playing with his toys. "He will understand." she said.

A trickle of blood started to go down my palm. Then I realized what this was all about. I started to whisper to myself. "I'm not strong enough, if I was strong enough Titus wouldn't have killed me. I wouldn't have let Carter die, and I wouldn't have been captured by them..." I said. "I have to get stronger,"

Faye stood back and shook her head, "No Alex listen to me! You don't- listen!" she said. Faye wiped the blood on Alex's hands away. "Listen! You are fine, safe, everyone here is!" she said.

"Faye,Happy Birthday!" I cry as I walk into the cabin. "Here," I say holding a present in my hands, " It's not much but I hope you like it."

Faye smiled and took the present. "Thanks Quell!" she said giving her sibling a hug. "What is it?" Faye asked with a warm smile.

"You'll just have to find out," I smile mischievously, " open it!" I was pretty happy with it. It was one of my better presents seeing that I have so many siblings, it was kind of hard to remember birthdays. this time though, I made sure I remembered it.

Faye smiled and unwrapped the gift. Inside was a Greek combat book, cool "Thanks Quell, it looks interseting." she said with a smile.

"Welcome Faye." I say with a smile. I glance at my watch, " Oh, I'd better get going, Dad's going to pick me up in 15 minutes. We're going surfing in Mountauk" I give Faye a smile. " Happy B-day!" I call behind me as I walk out the door. I'll get Faye something special while I was out, I though to myself, some Coke or something.
