The Quest to New York {private}

I cursed from behind Seth. I noticed Bella was gone again. I truned and was now back to back with Seth breathing hard. My sword was raise tip pointed forward. "This isn't happening," I sang lightly with a sigh.

I grabbed Kat's arm. "This is..." I trailed off, not knowing what to say. The smoke was dissapearing a little. I heard a cry of pain from behind us. I turned us around and Izzy, disarmed, wounded, and a blade pointed at her chest. Her knifes were no where to be seen. I squezzed Kat's arm. The girl demigod hadn't noticed us. The girl had an arrow in her shoulder.

I stood frozen still looking at Izzy. I was ready to plunge my sword deep into the new demigod's back but she inched her blade closer to Izzy. I stopped imediatly. With my other hand, i gripped Seth's arm while he gripped mine. I was breathing hard. The girl's smile grew.

I gulped when her blade went closer to my throat. Cuts were all over me. My leg was injured badly. "Now your dead," the girl said. She slashed her sword making a cut on my cheek. I gritted my teeth and pulled on the blade, cutting my hands. She fell forward.

I fell backwards onto my back as soon as Izzy pulled the sword from the girl. The floor beneath my feet had given way and falling save my life. I pulled Seth back too, with me. To my left I saw a large shadow a figure. A cyclopes, maybe...

The floor gave away and Kat pulled me back. A monster came out of the shadows. Two hellhounds. What the Hades? They are not half god but whatever. Inotched a bow and shot.

I now had the sword in my hands. I smriked. Blood was rolling off my hands. I pressed it against her throat. "Looks like you die now," I said.

Bella was still no where to be seen but we had othe problems now. Two hellhoundsbwere approaching. "Why the hell didn't your freaking arrow work, Seth?" I asked with irritation. I lashed down on one hellhound with my sword.

I shrugged. "I don't know!" I yelled back. She's so annoying. I whipped out my dagger and stabbed one hellhound. It instantly turned to dust. I grinned. One down, one more to go.

I watched as Seth kille off one of the Hounds, but tht was when I lost him in the fog. I looked for him urgently. I was alone with my sword raised. "Where di you go?" I whispered irritibly.

I didn't feel Kat's arm anymore. "Kat!" I yelled. Oh gods. I raised my dagger, looking for an emeny. I heard a noise. I ran to it and talcked someone, or something to the ground.

The girl gluped. I knocked her out with the butt of the sword. I asped and fell to the floor. She was a really good fighter.

I cursed, really loudly as someone tackled me to the ground and made me hit my head hard against the marble floor. My vision fuzzed lightly and my world spun for a moment. I reached for my knives still blinded but couldn't seem to get my hand on the weapon.

I looked at the person I had talked. "Bella?" I asked confused. "Sorry," I told Bella. "Kat!" I yelled. I hoped she was okay.

I threw my hand over his mouth. "Shut up," I hissed. "We could get her or ourselve killed. Don't give away our position!" I looked around and grabbed my knives. I heard a muffled cry out.

I tried to stand up but crumpled to the floor. I cried out in pain. That stupid demigod had injured my leg pretty badly. I gasped. "Bella! Seth! Kat!" I yelled out.

Spmething had grabbed me. I was pretty sure Bella had taken out the one demigod left, but something else felt like wrapping their arm around my neck. They also stumbled with their knife which I guessed they were going to stab me with. I elbowed them har in the stomach. I got away but had lost my sword. The fog was too thick to try looking for it. I gasped as my lungs were fille with air as I pulled away. I took a couple steps away from the person holding me so they wouldn't find me easily. I heard Izzy call out for all of us.

I looked around. "Help," I said weakly. I banged my fist on the floor. A huge crack seperated me and my friends.

I held Bella's arm. We took a step forward and bumped into someone. I put my dagger to their throat.

Two shadows crept towards me. I held up my fist read to attack. When a blade went to my throat I closed my eyes punched outwards expecting to be killed. But I opened my eyes to find that I had hit Seth. I cursed. "Uh, sorry?" I shrugged.

I felt someone punch my face. It was Kat. She had hit me right in the nose. "Gods Kat, you need to look before you punch!" I yelled. My nose started to bled.

I narrowed my eyes. "Sorry," I said. "I'm just living out a horror movie right now. Don't mind me if I am paranoid. Ever see the Mist? Well this is freaking living it!" I crossed my arms.

I rolled my eyes that wasthe best apology you could get from Kat mpst of the time.

I rolled my eyes. "thanks for giving me a bloodly nose," I muttered. I soon heard izzy call out our names. I grabbed both of the girls arms do I wouldn't loose them again. "Isabella?" I yelled.

I cursed in annoiance. I couldn't find my stupid sword. "Your welcome," I grumbled to Seth. If he didn't take my apology, fine, I'm still winning in the bet. Punching him surely got extra points. I snirked slightly. The three of us, all locked woth our hands together, made our way towards where Izzy was calling for us. I kept thinking about the other person that grabbed me. There was another person in here. I shivered. "You need to stop watching horror films," I heard Bella say. I scowled at her.

I snickered at Kat. "Is Kat scared?" I asked her. She glared at me. I found where Isabella was. Right infront of us was a huge crack blocking the way. She was laying on the ground wounded. I winced.

"Izzy," I whispered. Before I knew it, Kat ha dvounded over the large trench barely making the jump. Even for an athlete from cabin eleven it was a hard jump. I saw Kat kbeel next tp Izzy, probably happy to be away from Seth.

I looked up at Kat. I swallowed. "I'm sorry, I was stupid and..." I trailed off, knowing I could go on forever.

I looked at Bella and grabbed her. I ran and jumped over the crack. We made it, rolling.

I cursed at Seth as I rolled to the ground with him. "Ow," I said. "That hurt." I would have been perfectly capable of making that jump alone...maybe. I knelt next to Izzy. "You're not stupid," Kat said.
