The Quest to New York {private}

I cracked a smile. "At least my god parent is better! I mean, Apollo is awesome! I can sing and if it wasn't for me Kat, you'd be dead," I said sumgly. She knnew that was true.

I laughed at Bella. "I wouldn't blame you," I told Bella.

I shrugged. "I would have lived." I told him with a wave of my hand. True or not, my fatal flaw still told me other wise. "But I mean come on. Hermes? He's hard to beat. I mean, he is like the perfect guy. He is athletic and quick and mishchievious. He is awesome."

"Will you guys shut up?!" I yelled. "Athena is obviously better then Apollo and Hermes so you guys should just give it a rest!" I turned back to the monitors. I felt like a mother. I heard Kat mutter something about me and my breaking point. I gritted my teeth.

I looked at both of them. I flipped my hair and laughed. "Athena is the best. Where would we be without her? I mean war and technology!" I exclaimed. I smirked.

I laughed. Fighting was great and all but love... now that was awsome. not to mention my good looks...

"Uh, Izzy," I said. "Technology is all Hermes. Athena gets wisdom, war, battle strategy...gods, I have been hanging with Bella too much." I looked to her just in timefor her toglare daggers at me pver her shoulder. I smiled and waved.

Power is officially back!!....that was much quicker then I thought. Originally we were told Friday!!

I put my hands on my hips. "What's that's suppose to mean Kat? Athena is way better," I said.

I rolled my eyes. "Here comes crazy Izzy," I muttered under my breath. Izzy glared at me. I cracked a smile.

I looked at her with my head cocked slightly to the side. "What?" I asked innocently. I shook my head. "There isn't enough time in the world for mw to explain why my dad is cooler." I wondered if the gpds were listening right now. I silently prayed to Athena that I meant npthing against her. I don't dislike the other gods, actually ot's the complete oposite of hatred, I just like my dad!

I smirked. "Okay, Athena and Hermes are cool. It's just that my dad is five times cooler," I said. Isabella rolled her eyes. "What? It's true!" I exclaimed.

"I'm done talking about this." I uttered. "I really don't want to get awaken by a flock of evil owls in my cabin." I heard Bella mutter, "Owls aren't evil," while she was looking through the camera. I got her attention, a questioning look on my face, and she said. "731."

I got up and looked at camera 731. I gulped. "Monsters," I whispered. There was a Cyclopes and two emposia's. Seth came over and looked. He whistled. "Those girls are hot," He said. "But not hotter than my girlfriend," he added. I gave him a questioning look.
"What are you talking about? Those are emposia's," I said. Seth gaveme a puzzled look.

"Monsters?" I asked leaning on the chair Bella was sotting in. I saw a bunch pf kids. A tall guy maybe in his early twenties and two girls about our age. "What are you talkong about?"

"What are you talking about?" I asked Kat. "What do you see? This camera is on level 33...which we are on right now." I turne bacl to the controls a little cofused. "They are a cpuple halls away. The distance of about a football field," Kat said behind me. "What's the big deal? We've delt woth demigods already." Kat paused and FINALLY took in what Seth said. She whacked his arm.

"OW!" I yelled. I glared at Kat. "What was that for!" I exclaimed. I saw Isabella trying not to laughed.

I sighed. "More demigods?" I asked unsure. I saw monsters....or demigods. I shook my head.

"Something is wrong," I muttered following every camera that the three monsters/demigods were taking. They were mpving away from us surprisenly, but thatdidn't explain why Seth and Kat saw something different then Izzy and I. "The Mist?" I asked Izzy.

I nodded. "I bet the Mist is working. We all see something different. But why?" I asked. What would happen if we fought the monsters/demigods? I studied the screen more.

"They aren't heading towards us," I noticed. "We shouldn't really draw attention to ourselves just yet."

I turned and looked at Kat. "Just yet?" I mimicked. "What's that supposed to mean?" She just shrugged.

I knit my eyebrows together. They turned the corner near us. "Well here they come. Lock it. We should ambush them. What do you guys see?" I asked.

"A monster and two hot girls," I said. I smirked.

I hit Seth again not moving my eyes from te screen. I squinted and Bella swotched the screen again to get a better view. "Three kids. A really tall one and two grls. They look maybe thirteen."

I shook my head. "Three monsters," I say. "What do we believe?"

I studied the moniter. "We fight. Demigods or monsters. But, what if they are demigods and not monsters and we kill them? Then what?" I asked.

I stared at Izzy. "They're kids!" I hissed. "You want us fighting thirteen and twelve year olds? Dp you see how young they are?" Then a thought opccured to me. We weren't all seeing the same thing. "Who knows who's right..." I murmured.

I put my head in my heads. "Let's just let them pass. CLose the door. Who knows who's right. I don't wanna kill a kid," I muttered. Gods, why was this so hard?

The door had been blown off its hinges, but I didn'tt point that out to Izzy. I grabbed Seth and made him, quietly, help me put the dppr back up. Hopefully it would look normal. I watched as Bella's head jerked to the side. She looked at the other door that I had found the coffee in before. The guys were waking up. I had figured out before that they were mortals. Whoever was running this place was using mortals! How pathetic! Well, it was in my mind.

I helped Kat fix the door. Suddenly, two guys were waking up. "They're waking up! They're waking up!" I whispered loudly. I took on of the chairs and knocked one guy out with it again.

I rolled my eyes and kicked the other guy who had come out in the stomach. Then I slammed his head on my knee. Breaking his nose, and knocking him out. I sighed. "That, felt really good." I said and caught a side glare from Bella.

I rolled my eyes. I looked back to the screen. "What do we do? Half of us see monsters and the other half see demigods!" I cried. Seth's face seem to lit up.

"Ignore them and maybe they'll-" I stopped short when I saw Seth's face. Kat graoned lightly, looked at Seth and waved her hand as if saying to him, Well, TELL US. I raised my eyebrows. The three of them were getting closer, but still a good distance away.
