The Quest to New York {private}

I shrugged. "Eh, I guess we could just wait Ally. See what happens," I told her. I whistled a song.

I dug the knife a little deeper in her throat, breaking the skin. "Amy, I think we are better then you," I spat at her. I looked at Bella. "What do we do with the trash?" I asked her.

"Alright," I said to Seth. I tried to joke and whistle along but I totally failed. I never learned to whistle. Is that possible, to learn to whistle? Aah, that's my stupid ADHD catching up with me.

And gone again...freaking soccer practice.....

"I tied up Jakob," I said. "There are no vents in there, I'm surprised we made it through the nght in there unless we only slept a couple ours. We can keep them in there. Kat can do her trick and according to Amy no one came looking for her before so why should we expect them to now?"

I shrugged. I really didn't care what we did with them. We could throw them in that giant hole for all I cared. I gritted my teeth. "Why don't we just dump them in the wayer.." I muttered. Amy heard me and her eyes widened.

"Well they are watching us..." I hesitated. I looked up to the top corner of the room and saw a tiny camera focused on us. I took out my dagger and threw it at the wall. The tiny camera was smashed and fell down, crumpled, along with my dagger. I pocketed it.

My head shot up as I heard th faintest of laughter that soundrd far off, to my right. I could tell no one else heard it because they didn't react. Kat looked at me eyebrows raised. I could have sworn I was hearing things, but I don't just hear things. Maybe my special hearing will actualy come in handy now. I closed my eyes mapped out how the sound waves traveled in my mind. Not through any too solid walls, so it had to be close. My eyes shot open again. "I know where we need to go," I say. "Put her in there," I said pointing at Amy. "Quickly. We hae to move." I hoped no one thought I was tok crazy right now.

I shrugged and pulled Amy by her hair. I tied her up and kicked her in the closet. I let Kat do her thing. I crossed my arms. "What did you hear Bella?" I asked her. I turned my knives into bracelets.

I looked at Bella strangley. I didn't hear anything. But I guess the Athena kid is smartest, right? I had a feeling this wouldn't be the last we saw of Amy and Jakob.

"Laughter," I said. "Light, subtle laughter. In that direction." i pointed down the hall. "It was right after Ally took out te camera." Meanwhile, Kat was birning the door.

"Laughing?" I asked Bella. I listened closely. Sure enough, I heard it. "We should go. NOW."

"Oh crap," I mumbled. I agreed with Seth. If there was laughter after I disabled the camera, that wasn't good. At least I think. What was it supposed to mean?

"No," I said quickly startling Kat a bit. She looked at me as if I was crazy. Maybe I was. "I think it's the cintrol room." I rubbed my neck. "I can hear thigs a little better then most people, and I think I just barely picked uo that laughter. I think they were laughing at Ally for destroying the camera. If we need to get there, this is our chance."

I nodded. "C'mon let's move. Let's just get outta here. The faster the better," I told them. Seth seemed fine to walk. I stapped my backbag on my chest.

I nodded. "Okay, well the sound came from this direction. We should be on the right floor now because sound won't travel through this much tile." It was thick. The clyclopes' bqrly fell through it and he wouldn't have unless he used all his dtrength to try and bash me down on the head with his club. I shiok my head. Focuss. I started off to my right as soon as Kat closed the closet door.

We all followed Bella. She knew better then me. She had those cool senses. There was that noise again. Please don't be a cyclopes please, I prayed to the gods.

"Let's go beat up some demigods--Er, monsters! Whatever! Nobody laughs at me!" I smiled, raising my dagger in the air. After a moment of akward silence I laughed.

I spun around quickly pulling out my sword. I did a three-sixty lookibg around us. I didn't see anything. Bella ha stopped us on our journey to the control room and was now listening closely trying to spot something, or catch a scuffle of a shoe to indicate were someone was. She found nothing though.

~YES!!!! cough cough I mean okay xD~

We all stopped. I looked around for a few moments. There was nothing there. Then, something came out of the shadows. I dropped my weapons. It was my dad? "Dad?" I asked him. He sneered. "Oh, so you now you fight. Were where you when I died! You should had died instead!"

~P.S. Seth's ghost is going to be really funny~

I cocked my head sideways. "What?" I asked. I looked at Izzy with confusion. Bella was staring at the man Izzy called dad. That rung a bell...why?
My heart best quickened. I was almosy gasping for air I was so shocked. Izzy told me her dad was dead. Who was this?

"Dad?" I asked again. My dad. He was back!. I went towards him to give me a hug. He pushed me away. I fell on my butt. Tears rolled down my cheeks.
"Thanks for saving me kid! Now you fight! You saved your friends now! But you didn't save me!" My dad scream. I was sobbing now. "I was ten!" I screamed. He raised his hand.

Whoa, isn't Isabella's dad dead? Who the heck is this? Oh my gods, please don't change. Please don't change. I stood there in shoo\ck, unable to move.

I knely down next to Izzy keepin my eyes on the man. I didn't get this one bit. I tore my eues from the man for a split second. "Are you okay?" I asked then turned my eyes back to the man, but there was no longer a man there. It was a little girl. My little girl. My little sister who died five years ago. I gasped and fell backwards onto the floor.

I blinked and the image changed. A little girl. I gasped. Holy crap, it's the exorcits girl. I screamed. "Run! She's possed!" I screamed faling my arms. Kat punched me.

I didn't know what my friends were talking about, but by the sounds of it, it was someone importnant to each of them. I guess that's why it looked like a normal old man to me. I didnt have anyone at home that I cared about. My family hated me and I hated them. "Bella," I said, grabbing her wrist, "Snap out of it."

"You left me there," Alicia said sadly. "Even after I was gone, you didn't try. You havn't seen mommy and daddy in years."
"Ally," I said softly to my sister. That was always my nickname for her and I hoped the Ally with us didn't think I was talking to her. But, my six year old sister, snapped me away.
"You left me there!" She yelled. I couldn't focus on Ally's attempts to snao me out of it.

I shook Bella. "Bella, she's not real," I told her. "She's dead. You told me that remember?" I asked Bella. I shook her again.
