The Quest to New York {private}

"We should rest a little longer." I said. "Maybe this place is safe. It's been almost twelve hours I would guess. New record in this place." I looked around. I had examkned this place when we came in, and it still looked perfecty fine.

I sighed. "I can't and don't wanna sleep. Wen is it that you have a dreamless sleep?" I asked Bella. I lookd through my bag and found it. abottle of perfume. I looked at Bella. "Want some?"

I shook my head. "I hate the smell of that stuff," I told Izzy. "It smells fake. If I want to smell like lavender, or bubble gum I'll rub lavebder or bubble gum on myself." I smiled.

I smiled. "It's just the smell of vanilla. Besides I don't like to smell bad. I don't have an lavender on me," I told her, smiling.

I shook my head. "I'm good," I told her. I didn't really care if I smelled. I just cared about living through the next day. "The only thing I need to bring is a brush," I said. "And I forgot it. I never forget things."

I laughed and looked through my bag. I pulled out a comb and tossed it to Bella. "Here you go sis. I'm always prepared," I told her smiling.

"Oh, gods, thanks!" I started to comb through my curly hair softly after letting it down. Keeping it jn a pony tail made it less knotted. I looked at everyone again. "If we all didn't look like crap, this could almost be normal.

I nodded. "Yeah I bet we would." I redid my ponytail. "Should we wake them up?" I turned and saw Kat's head on Seth's shoulder. Seth's head was lulled to the side, mouth open. I snickered. He was drooling and snoring.

I smiled. "Maybe let them sleep for a little while longer." I said to Izzy. "We need the rest a lot more then we are letting on. I feel my eyes getting heavy again." I blinked a couple times to try and wake myself up bit more.

I shrugged. "Yeah I guess." Suddenly there was a loud banging on the door. I pulled out my two long knives. I went to the door and listened for some more noise. I looked at Bella confused.

My knives were out and ready. I noticed no one else woke. I looked at Izzy just as confused as she was. I shrugged with and odd look on my face. I had no clue on what to expect. I pressed my ear to te door and listened.

We put our ears against the door. It was quiet. Suddenly, the door kinda busted open. Bella and I fell to the ground with a thud.

I woke up at the sound of crashing and the door bursting open. Bella falling on my legs helped too, but, I wasnt as worried about that then what was outside. My eeyes had trouble adjusting to the light and I had to squint to even be able to see Bella who was right next to me.

My eyes shot open when there was a loud noise. Isabella rolled of me and groaned. I rubbed my eyes. "What happened?" There was something by the door.

My eyes adjusted to the light and I saw in frot of us, another cyclopes and two demugods. The ine girl was vaguly familiar. I cursed a few time and reached for my bracelet, but it wasn't on my wrist. I had a little heart attack. I never took it off. I searched around quickly. How could it had fallen off.

I stood up. I saw a cyclopws and two demigods. IT'S THEM. I ran forward and kicked the guy in the chest, knocking the wind out of him. I lunged on top of him and put my knife to his throat. "That's for my cheek," I snapped.

I cursed again. Trying to find my bracelet. Note to self: Get bracelet enchanted like Bella's so it will always return to my wrist.

I attacked the Cyclopes trying to lead it away from the closet so the others could get out eqsily. I stabbed it in the thigh and it kicked at me missing by only inches.

I loaded my bow and shot at the monster. A bracelet was laying on the floor. I threw it to Kat. I shot more arrows.

THe guy pushed me. I stumbled off. He lunged at me and I rolled away, landing on my feet crouched. I slashed at him.

I sighed and nodded to Seth a thanks. Then my sword flipped into my hand. Gods, I guess life would realy suck without Seth. I tried to count how many times he saved our lives during the quest. He did to everyone at least once. I attacked the girl and gave her a long scar acrosss her forehead. "Thanks for breaking my ribs again," I tell her and lash out again she fought back with her knife.

The biy and I fought. I kicked him in the stomach and sent him flyig. I smirked.He came at me kncoking me to the ground. He put his sword against my throat. "Not so brave now." I spat in his face.

I was able to knock the girl's knife from her hands. It was easy. Unless you practice a whole lot, you can never beat a sword with a knife. But what sucked was the the Cyclopes that stood above me fighting Bella, snatched up my sword. I sighed. "C'mon!" I yelled. The girl threw a punch at me and I dodged it. Hand to hand combat. Dam.

I struggled under his weight. I gasped and tried to wiggle free. He smirked. Suddenly, something knocked into him, making him land on the floor. Seth. I got up quickly and saw him and Seth fighting. The guy twisted Seth's dagger out of his hand. I jumped on the guy, causing us both to roll.

I put my dagger back in my hand. I watched as the guy and Isabella went rolling. Kat and the girl were in hand to hand combat. I went over and knocked the girl out with the hilt of my dagger.

I attacked and retreated a few steps while fighting the Cyclopes at every blow. Always being caustious to dodge and not alwys attack. I kept my eyes on the four main blows he beast used. Punch, Jump, kick, swat. Sometimes he used a pattern but rarely. The Jumps are what would kill me.

I shot arrows at the cyclopes, trying to help Bella. The cyclopes roared at me and swatted me away, knocking me into the wall. I gasped and held my side.

The guy hit his head on the wall. He stayed dazed but lunged at me. I stepped-aside and blocked his blow. I swiped against his cheek, making a cut.

How this girl seemed to dodge and deflect every one of my swipes WITHOUT a weapon, I have no idea. Maybe her buddy the cyclopes was helping when I didn't notice. But she wsas quick an managed to hit me a few tines in the chest or come close to tackleing me. I blamed my injuries.
