The Quest to New York {private}

I let out a small squeak like scream and fell to the ground landing feet first. I bent my knees and rolled. When I sat up I sighed. My armwas probably still broken but nothing else was damaged. I looked to Izzy to see if she was okay.

I walked over to the two girls. Bella seemed a little dazed. Izzy was...not awake. I ran to her. Oh gods, oh gods. Izzy was knocked out cold. I knelt next to her. I hope she wasn't dead. She was like a sister to me.

When I saw Izzy, she was unconsious. Seth ran over to her and I scrambled over next to him. "Is she okay?" I asked desperately. I started to rub my neck feeling a bit more nervous now. Not only for Izzy, but for Kat, and what the Clyclopes had said. He was bluffing, I knew he was, right?

I started shaking. Isabella was like my sister to me. I couldn't think or speak. "I..uh," was all I managed. Isabella looked pale and had a gash on her cheek.

I put my hand on Seth's shoulder. "It's going to be okay," I said, "Calm down a second. Do what you did to me to her. Can you do that again?" I was trying not to freak out myself.

Suddenly, I got mad. Mad at everything. I didn't even hear what Bella said. Mad at the gods. Mad..well, you get the point. I stood up and kicked the wall.

"Seth!" I hissed. "Do you want them to come find us? We barely survived one attack. One hundred and ninety nine monsters against six demigods. The odds aren't in our favor. Calm down."

"I don't care!" I shouted at Bella. "Why couldn't I been normal?" I half asked half yelled. I slid down the wall and put my hands in my face. To my surprise, I started drying.

I didn't say anything. I just slid down to the floor leaning on the wall. I didn't want to disturb Seth. I'll let him be for a moment. If I have learned anything from my brothers it's don't disrupt a guy when they are upset. I started to try and think up a plan for something. I had nothing.

This sucked, this sucked, this sucked. My best friend was almost dead, we were surrounded my monsters, and Kat was missing. If I didn't pull myself together, we could all die. Damn, this sucked.

I buried my head in my hands and pulled my legs up close. Calm down, that's all we need to do. We have to calm down, and re-think everything, figure out what we are doing, and then do it fast. This was going horribly. I wanted to throw something, but I didn't. But there was one thing we all needed. It had been a long day. "We need to find somewhere safe for the night," I said softly to Seth.

I nodded. "Bella's right, does anybody habe anywhere to stay?"

I nodded my head. "We can stay here. The knock-out gas lasts for a week. It dosen't work on half-god things, like us," I said my voice husky. I looked up. I bet my eyes were red and everything. "Anyone need ambrosia or nectar?"

I shock my head. "I can live without it for now." I said. "We need to help Izzy in any way possible." I said the last part in a soft whisper. I wondered how many more half god things there were lurking in these halls. I swallowed hard and that thought along with it.

I nodded. "I'll take first watch while you guys sleep." I told them. I went over to Isabella. How to wake her up? I could slap her. No, she would be mad. "How should I wake you?" I asked no one in practicular.

I didn't want to go to sleep and I didn't I just lay down using my back pack as a pillow and watche SEth try to wake Izzy. I had no ideas to help, besides giving her nectar. I sighed heavily. She is going to be okay. Everything is going to be okay. We are going to find Kat and kill some monsters. In between the thoughts I was having I slowly fell asleep and the nightmares came.

I slapped Isabella in the face. Her eyes shot open. SHe slapped me. "WHat the heck!" Izzy screamed. I stuck a piece of amborisa in her mouth. Izzy glared at me and ate it. I looked over at Bella. She was sleeping...but not peacefully. Bella was breathing hard. Izzy went over to her.

~Yep! Totally.

Can demigods ever have peaceful dreams? Ever? No? Well maybe I just want to be normal for once! A normal nights sleep would be fantastic. Just one night, that's all I ask for. Apparently that night isnt tonight. It's not like I could've held back sleep. I was exausted and I'm sure everyone else was too.
Images of memories were flying by moving in and out of my vision. Waking up was already out of the question.

Bella started to shake. I shook her. "Bella!" I screamed. Oh, gods, oh gods. Bella was having a nigghtmare. "Bella wake up!"

I heard someone calling my name but i couldn't force myself awake. But then again, no matter how much fear and despare the images were bringing, I saw things that I had never seen before and I was curious to look further.
Images of the halls we were roaming, different monsters, terrifiing ones I couldn't even name, and a locked, large door. I could hear yelling from the other side, and then a scream. A too familiar scream that woke me up.
I sat straight up and looked at the others. Izzy was right next to me. My heart was beating a hundred miles per minute.

Bella's eyes shot open. I looked at her with concern. "You okay?" I asked her. Nightmares always found us demigods no matter what. "You had a nightnmare?" I asked her. I scrunched my eyebrows together.

"I think I know where Kat is," I announce after a moment of catching my breath. "And I think she might be in trouble." I ran my fingers through my hair over and over nervously.

I looked at Bella. "Are you sure?" I asked her. Wait, didn't we find Kat? That hit really messed up my head. I shook my head. "Where?" I asked her.

"Well that's the hard part," I said, "I would have to see it to know it. Like the halls, I know which ones to take, but I don't know where they are located. But..." I said, and paused a moment and looked down the hall both ways.

I looked at Bella. "Do you want to look down the halls? We are going to finish this quest with Kat," I told Bella. I ate another piece of ambrosia. Where should we look?
