The Quest to New York {private}

We ran into the halls looking for Kat. We made turns and went down long hallways. I looked at the walls and saw that marking. "Kat's was here!" I yelled. I heard a voice.

After we ran for about fifteen minutes hrough the halls, Izzy slider to a stop and pointed out a long sratch on the wall. "This is where we saw her before," I said. "She could be anywhere by now."

There was a voice. "Hey guys you here that?" I asked. It sounded like a women's voice but, motherly. Just like mother nature, I thought. I wanted to slap myself. That thought din't help.

"Huh?" I asked. "What are you talking about Seth. I didn't hear anything." And I hear everything. I took a double take and looked down the halls twice. "No one else is here."

I looked at Bella confused. I heard a voice again. It sounded like my mom's voice. "Mom?" I asked. Maybe I should mention the gas didn't work on certain monsters because one of their parents could be a god.

"Seth what are you talking about?" I asked. Then I heard it. A soft whisper. Something easy to pass up as air from a wind duct. But it sounded more like a voice. I pulled out my knives and walked down the hall slowly.

I heard the voice again, but louder. "Mom? Mom!" I shouted. I dropped my bow and started looking around for her.

My eyes widened and I turned back to Seth. "Seth, It's not her." I said. "Forget about it. It's not really her." Then heard it again. A little girl's voice calling my name softly. There was pain in her voice.

I shook my head. "Guys stop. No one is--" I stopped short when I heard a male voice. "Isabella," it said. I felt tears in my eyes. "Dad?" I bet I looked like a little girl right now.

Three voices sounded. I could hear them all now, maybe even more. The only one I recognized was the litte girl's. "Bella, help me!" It called, the voice cracking. The agonizing memories fludded back. The images that always enter my nightmares flashed through my mind. I stood my ground though as my little sister called for help. I wanted so much to run to her, but I somehow knew it wasnt real. It couldn't be. She was dead.

I heard my dad's voice again. "Dad!" I shouted again. I went up the hall and looked for my dad. Wait, wasn't he dead? I ignored the feeling that I should go back. I heard his voice again. I looked around. "Dad!" I heard a grunt and something came out of the shadow.

I watched as Izzy ran by me and down the hall. "Guys?" Someone asked. It was Kat's voice. No, It's not. It's an illusion, it's..."Izzy!" I yelled down the hall. "Move! Run! Something!"

I watched as the monster came out of the shadow. I screamed. "Help!" It was a cyclopes. It grinned. "Help me!" The monster said in my voice. The monster came at me.

I heard Izzy's voice. I picked up my bow and went toward the sound.

Okay, scream for help is something. I think I had been too stunned to run after her, but watching Seth and the others run after her, I sprang into action bolting down the hall. I looked up and down the hall. It was abandoned except for the Cyclopes and us. Good, we won't be having any more compainy. I attacked the 12 foot tall Cyclopes.

I watched as Bella attacked the Clyclopes. I shook my head and rubbed my bracelets. They turned into long knives. I attacked just as Bella did. The monster zoned in on me. "Why would you attack your dad?" It asked in my dad's voice. I froze as it came towards me.

I watched as Isabella froze. I shot at it. It roared and took it's focus off of Izzy.

The cyclopes swiched voices again but this time into his own. "You don't want your friend hurt, do you?" That didn' stop me. "You're bluffing," I cried and attacked again at his legs, which seemed to be the only thing I could reach. "Am I?" He said, and knocked me aside. I hit the wall hard.

"Bella!" I screamed. Oh, he just made things personal. He better run. I ran towards him and slashed. He swatted at me. As his hand came by, I jumped on it and climbed up his arm. I stuck my knife in his arm.

I ran over to Bella. "You okay?"

I didn't open my eyes. I put my hand to my head and shook my head saying no. My head hurt. I felt my arm and I could tell, not only by the pain, that it was broken or at least badly sprained. I wanted to curse like crazy. How could I be so stupid? We all fell into the trap, but I was the first to attack, and attack weakly at that!

I put a hand on Bella's forehead. "rElax and I'm going to heal you," I told her. I concentrated and Bella got this sparkly glow. I sat down. Whoah, that was tiring.

The monster roared as I struck it. It shook it's arm but I managed to hold on. I climbed up more and was on the monster's head. This was like riding a bull! I gritted my teeth. I shakliy stabbed him in the eye. It screamed and shook me off. I fell to the ground.

I let my eyes flutter open. Seth sat down hard next to me. My arm still hurt like Hades, but felt a a whole lot better. My head seemed to be drained of all pain what so ever. I looked at Seth he looked exhausted. I stood up shakily only to have to duck again from a blow of the Cyclopes' club. I let out a short scream as I dove down again. I flung my knife at his face only to miss and hit the wall behind him. Fantastic.

I stood up quickly. Bella seemed weak. "Bella stay down, I got this." I quickly stabbed the monster again. Sice I stabbed it in it's eye, it was using smell. I stabbed it again.

"Yeah," I muttered under my breath, "That's a Heck, and a No." One large Cyclopes on three kids. not even. With four of us not likely. I wondered if Seth could get up, but even with five this would be tricky. My other knife was in my hand I stabbed the cyclopes in the foot. It jumped and hit his head on the ceiling with a roar.

I watched as Bella stabbed the Cyclopes. I watched as arrows shot the the monster. "Try to distract it!" Seth yelled. I stabbed and slashed along side with Bella. I told her to stay down! The monster roared and grabbed me. I screamed. An arrow was shot into the monster's eye. Make that five arrows.

I jumped at Izzy and the arm carrying her. I clutched the monster's fingers and tried to pry them open by stabbing the fingers, but he wouldn't let go of Izzy. It started to attempy shake me off by waving his hand. It was like a roller coaster. I felt like getting sick, and I'm sure Izzy didn't feel much better. I held on never the less having my head rattled back to pain.

The monster started to shake me. I turned and saw why. Bella was on his arm. I was getting sick. This monster needed to die. He was wailng around, cluching his eye. I tried to pry open his fingers. Seth shot five more arrows at one. The monster stopped moving and moaned, "Stupid demigods," before turning to dust. Both Bella and I fell to the ground with a thud.
