The Quest to New York {private}

"I'm not saying that," I say thinking hard. "I'm saying that we either need to figure out how that guy got in so easily, get Kat to open the door for us, or blow up the door and get arrested. I have no more ideas. You got any?" I sigh deeply we have gotten no where.

I thought hard. "He could be a god or a monster. Something in his body made the door open," I said.
"We could blow up the door," I said repeating Bella's idea.

"Maybe we should ban using sarcasm with you here," I said to Seth while I try not to laugh. "Maybe it has to do with a DNA scan? I like that idea of something in his body made it open."

"Oh ha ha Bella," I told her. "You think it has to do with sight and love?" I asked her.

I nod. "But none of this is making sense!" I hiss. "We shouldn't have even done this. It only got us hurt, and gotten Kat lost. Then prophecy can't be any clearer about this, but...ugh!" I got really frustrated and I really didn't know what else to say. Which is honestly a first. I can't stand the fact that we hit this very large bump in the road.

"Maybe we need to see something to get in? I'm not sure about the love part..does everyone love each other as friends?" I asked.
I rolled my eyes. "No I hate all of you. "Of course I love you as friends! You girls are like the sisters I never wanted," I told them.
"Gee thanks," I told him.

"Well that's nice, Seth," I say with a half smile. I look to the door that led back inept he store and had a thought. "Maybe we should lock up this plae. That guy was the only one working here, abd no one else has come in. We should lock it up and stay in here for a while."

I nodded. No one else shoupd come. I realized I was sweating. If that guy was a monster...maybe Kat could take him. But if he was a big monster, like the sphinx or a hydra, perhaps, then she was most likely doomed.

"Okay then," I say. "I'll be right back." ten I start towards the sportier lead back into the main room. I peaked through it first, then went outside. "We're closesed!" I announce and shuffle everyone out of there not letting them finish their last purchases. As soon as they were out, I closed the doors ad found the keys. The guy at the front desk was still sleeping so I put the keys in his hands, sat him upright on the stool at the cashier, and made it look like he fell a sleep there. I really hoped he wouldn't wake up til morning because it was only five o'clock.

"Now what?" I asked. I looked around the room and saw a shinny thing sticking out of a pile of clothes. I pulled it out and it was a sword. On it it read For the best warrior. "Look,"I say to my friends.

I walked over to Seth. He was holding a shining sword. I leaned closer to see what the engraving said. For the best warrior. [i]

After turning the lights off, I slipped back into the the back room. I left the lights off in there but there was some light coming in from the window on the ceiling. I walked up to everyone else. "Okay we are-," I stopped and looked at the sword that rested in Seth's hand. "What is-?" I didn't even finish my thought.

"It's a sword. It reads for the best warrior," I said. "Why is this here?" I asked my friends.

I examine the sword over Seth's shoulder. It was silver, unlike normal weapons of celestial bronze. There is solve celestial, but it's rare. This is either that, or real steal that could hurt mortals. I sigh. That doesn't sound so good. "Another question could be is what does it mean?"

I looked at the sword. It was meant for me. "This sword belongs to me; I'm the best warrior," I say.
I snort. "Yeah okay."
OOC- This was what started the Trojian War in Greek Mythology. Except it was with a golden apple.

"Okay, you can't just declare that," I say narrowing my eyes. "How do you know it belongs to you. That doesn't make much sense."

Oh yeah!! I remember that!!

"Of course it belongs to me," I said. Something filled my body. I had to have that sword. I bet my green eyes looked hungry for the sword.
I rolled my eyes. "It belongs to me."
OOC- I changed it to a sword instead of an apple. This could be the sight part. Eris the godness of discord did the apple thing.

"Why would it belong to you?" I snap. "What if it belongs to me. It probably does anyway. I've been at camp longer then any of you. I'm the better warrior of all of us."

OOC: oh yeah I get it. So it would kind of turn into a greed of power type of thing.

I looked at Bella and snorted. "Yeah, okay. I'm a male and guys are always better than girls. Guys were here first."

I glared at him. "It's mine. I lost everything so it should belong to me," I snapped at Seth. He glared at me and stuck out his tounge.

OOC- Yup!

"How do you know none of us lost everything Izzy?!" I yell in frustation. "Most of my family was killed in an attack when I was eleven. The rest of them kicked me out. I made to camp half dead! I couldn't help but hold in my anger before. I don't care if you have it worse then me, but most of us have gone through loses too. Kat goes around feeling guilty for her mom's death. I can't help but think of my dad, and my siblings dying every day of my life. You may have it bad, but that doesn't mean none of us do too!" The tears were running down my face now. I wanted to scream. What were we doing. We were fighting over a freaking sword with writing on it. The others were so silent, it almost scared me.

I glared at her. "You don't know me! I saw my own father get shred to pieces by a hellhound right in front of my face! My step-mom died the same way! You know what she yelled before she died? she said 'This is all your fault! If you were dead none of this would had happened!' I don't even know why I was born!" I yell right back. Both of our faces had tears falling down.
I looked at the sword again. Then I realized why it was here. To see each other better.

I couldn"t take it. I wanted to punch her. She was doing it again. Going on about how her life sucked. All our lives sucked. I'm glad I mentioned Kat in there becuase I'm sure she would have said the same thing as me. I didn't touch Izzy, though how much I wanted to. Instead I turned on my heels tore off my backpack threw it at the nearest rack of clothes and boxes and stormed out of the room and back into the main one. I slammed the door bhind me and went to the dressing rooms and cried. I hadn't cried in years about this, but I cried and cried for everything. For the past years when I have been holding it in. I cried for my friends, I cried for my family and I cried for myself. I cried for Izzy most of all. I of all people know how she feels but I couldnt help but be angry with her. I wanted to apologize, but I couldnt find the strength.

OOC: Wow. This is very powerful I am almost making myself cry.... :(

OOC- I feel bad making my character yell at yours. It feels like I'm yelling at you =o.

[color=cyan]I just stare at the empty space in front of me. Tears just roll down my face and I can't control them. My fist are clenched. I hate myself for making Bella cry.

I put the sword back in the clothing pile and go find Bella. I hear crying in one of the dressing rooms. I knock on the door. "Can I come in?"

OOC: I know!!! It feels so weird!

"Why?" I snap through sobs. "So you can yell at me for making Izzy cry?" I puase for a second. Seth didnt leave. I sighed. "Come in." I was curled up in a ball on the bench pulling at my hair probably looking like I'm insane.
