The Quest to New York {private}

I push the girls out of the way. "I'll do this," I told them. "Cocky much," I heard Izzy mutter. I glared at her. I started at it for a moment and entered a code.
The next line of the prophecy popped in my mind. "I think it has to do with sight and love."

"Kit Kat and Seth would be the love," I giggled under my breath. "What do you think it would mean by sight?" Gods, I was stupid. I wished I was an Athena kid.

"Perfect," I hear Bella mutter. But I don't ask about it. Instead I ask Somethig staying on the subject of Love. "Love?" I look around at everyone. "What is that supposed to mean?"

I blushed when Ally said Kit-Kat and me are love. My face was red. "Uh..I'm not sure. I'm okay with love though." I said smiling.
"Love godness?" I asked.

"Adonis?" I asked. Maybe since he was a child of Aphrodite, he would know.

Wait Allary Wa still is here, right...?

"Friendly love?" I suggest, because that meant less of a challenge. Kat look at me with weird eyes as if trying to read my emotions. I shoo her off and assure her mentally I'm okay. When clearly I'm not.

Yeah him/her and Naimikins are still in the picture jus they haven't been on in almost a week. :/

I snorted. "I hope it's friendly love and not the kind of love Seth over here wants," I said looking at Seth. he blushed. He put up his hands. "I'm a guy okay."

"Hmm. Well..Theia is the goddess of sight, I think...but nobody is a child of her, here. So I don't know. Im stumped. ".

"Oh that gives me great mental images." I say sarcastically closing my eyes. I'm pretty sure Kit-Kat was blushing. "Can you not be a guy for like ten minutes?"

I resist the urge to even speak. It has nothing to do with me. I assure myself.

I roll my eyes at Kat. "So how do you want me to act? Like a girl? 'Cause I ain't doing that," I told her.
Bella looked unsure. "What's wrong?" I asked Bella softly.

"Noth-" I began today but stop. Something was outside in the main room making their way to the door. It wasdoing faint, even I could barely hear it. I wanted to smack Athena for giving me these weird senses, but then again, the weird ability has helped me multiple times. Like now. "Hide!" I hiss.

I dove into a huge pile of clothing. I pulled out my dagger ready to fight.
I hid behind a box. I was ready to fight something.

I was gal no one questioned me. I scurried to the back wall taking out my knives. I crouched down next to a few boxes that faced the door and gave me a line of hidden protection. Kat quickly swept past the lights, turned them off then hid in a rack of clothing..

I looked around and saw Bella. "What is it?" I asked her.

I shook my head and closed my eyes. My head began to hurt. The door opened letting in streams of light that illuminated the boxes I was hiding behind I prayed I wouldn't be seen. The man walked straight past everyone of us that was hidden and straight to the door. It opened at his touch. He let the door slowly swing closed behind him, but not before Kat could silently slip through the remaining space for the door to close. Before she could attempt to keep the door open, it closed, locking herself in and locking us out. Kat was always super quick and could move at amazing speeds, but only at certain times. She some how had made it through that door. Which scared me greatly. My eyes grew wide, but I didn't move.

I felt my jaw drop. Kat did not just do that. I ran to the door. I despertly tried to tug it open. "Open, open," I muttered.
I did not know what to do. I got out of the clothes and walked to Izzy. "It's okay," I told her.

"Of course," I mutter sadly. "It's always her. She is always slipping away." I find the strength to stand an ignore the pain in my head. I walk over to Izzy and Seth who were now at the door.

"No, no, no," I muttered. I kicked the door. "Gods dammit," I whispered.
"It's okay," I told Izzy. She looked up and glared at me. "You loose all the people who are close to you and tell me how you feel when your friend gets locked somewhere," she snapped at me.

I take in Izzy's comment, and it somewhat hurt to hear it. Don't ask me why cause I don't know, but it did. I swallowed. I reached over and put my hands on Izzy's shoulders. "Izzy, look at me." I tell her. "She's going to be alright. We'll find her. I promise. You won't loose anyone else. I promise." I repeated. I was somewhat reassuring myself also. I had been friends with Kat sense my first days here. I couldn't explain how close we were. Izzy was just getting to know her. It must be just as bad for her though.

I realized how crappy my comment sounded. "Sorry about that guys. I-Im , I don't know." I looked up at Bella. "Thanks Bella," I told her.

"Don't sweat it," I say flatly. "Now let's pry this door open. I'm pretty sure it is either sound proof or Kat isnt even trying to communicate. Either way, it's a highly secured door." I didn't even want to nation another reason. That would be dangerous for the condition we were all in.

I glanced at my friends. I got up and dug out my dagger. I slid my dagger in between the slips of the door, trying to pry it open.

"I was beig sarcastic," I told Seth before he breaks his knife. "We need a way in, but doing that with a knife won't work. I think what Kat did to the door before," I continue after I grab my hair pin off the floor. "Brought that coding to come up, but when that man came in he just opened the door by touching the handle."

I looked at Bella. "So all we had to do was touch the handle?" I asked her, eyebrows raised.
