The Quest to New York {private}

I pulled on Seth's arm. "C'mon!" I yelled. He glanced at me and back a the man who was on the floor coughing hard. I pulled his arm harder, dragging him with me as we ran into the mall.
Isabella dragged me into the mall by my arm. I was muttering 'ow, ow' th whole way there. "Why did you stay!" Isabella half whispered, half screamed.

"What was that?" I demand. "We ran straight here. What happened to you guys?" I sigh an put my hands on my hips. I look up and see the man out in the parking lot stumle to his feet. I pulled Izzy and Ally by the arms hoping the others would follow into the coffee store I was dragging Ally and Izzy into.

I followed Bella into the coffe shop. I was about to say something when the man came into the mall. He was looking around for us. "Hide!" I hissed as I talcked all of them to the ground. Everyone in the coffe shop gave me weird looks.

I ducked down behind a shelf. On my way to the ground I accidently hit it and everything on the whole rack came crashing down on me. "Holy crap!" i yelled, a little bit to loud.

I grunt as Seth tackles most of us to the ground. "Great procedure," I mutter. I get onto my hands and knees and crawl to the back of the counter. A few cashiers were about to throw us out when I pulled one o the ground. I looked him straight in the eye and said, "We are workers here. We are late for work. Remember?" I snapped my fingers. The guy looked dazed for a moment then nodded. I let go of his shirt collar and I led the others into the back kitchen. They all Egan to clean up Ally's mess.

I cover Ally's mouth so she wouldn't scream 'holy crap!' again. I looked at my friends concered that the fart smelling man would find us.

"Maybe we shouldn't be hiding," I whisper. "We're demigods. There's six of us amd one of him," I said. I pull out my dagger.

"He could be a hydra or something," I whisper to Ally. One guy could transform to a huge monster. And I mean huge.

"It'll keep him of our case," I say. "We can use the back door back here anyway." I push through the kitchen door. My sword was in my hand. The last time I was back here, it wasn't pretty.

"I still think we can take him," I growl. But not really. Hydras are near impossible to beat. I didnt see how we could do it. I flicked Abbadon's tail and she obeyed. She prowled around the edge of the store, unseen, and was on the opposite side from us, ready to attack from behind if we needed help.

Asia wanted to go after the tiger but I held her down. She was much bigger and would attract more attention. I look at the others pitifully we cant take whatever that thing is alone. It's most defiantly something powerful. It made it's way through Seth's fart arrow.

"What are we supossed to do?" I questioned. "We can't keep running forever. Seth do you have anymore useful arrows?" I hoped.

I tried to think of the other arrows I had. "I have sonic. Oh yeah," I pulled an arrow that had a granade attached to it. "How's this?" I asked.
I grinned. "That could work. But, there's mortals. We need him to get to monster form, open his mouth, and then shoot the arrow," I said.

"Whoa wait," I say. "First off, we need to be at least a hundred yards away for the arrow not to take much effect on us. Two, it would shatter every window in this place. Three, the mortals, like you have already pointed out and four, this guy could be an average everyday mortal stalker. Why don't we just shake him off. It'll be easy." I instantly regretted my words as soon as the left my lips.

"I hope it's going to be easy," I tell Bella. How could we shake him off? Seth's face instantly lit up.
"I have an idea. I'll go out and be all tough and stuff. I'll be all 'What you looking at punk.' Could that work?" I ask my friends.

I look at Seth doubtfully, my eyebrows raised. Bella clamped her hand over her mouth to keep froml laughing. A smile creeped onto my face no matter how much I tried to hide it. "Well that's an idea." I say sarcastically. "Good luck with that."

I started to laugh. Seth gave me a look. "Just really Seth? Really?" I laughed again.
I looked at my friends who were laughing or trying not to laugh. I gave them the puppy dog eyes. "Please can I try it?"

"I think we should leave that up to Izzy," I announce clutching my wrist tightly. I was trying to hold my self from laughing. Seth, what are we going to do with you?

I looked at Izzy. "Please?" I asked her. She shook her head. I gave her puppy dog eyes. Still no for an answer. I leaned in and whispered, "If you don't let me, I'll put spiders in your bed." her eyes grew wide. She knows I would do that. "Go," she told me. I grinned and walked out. The guy was looking at me. I crossed my arms and glared at him. "What you looking at homie?"

I really had to try hard not to laugh. I watched as the man slowly turned to Seth. The man was bald and towered over Seth. Somehow baldness made you look evil because if you looked evil up in the dictionary, there was probably a bald guy picture by the word.

"I am looking for a decent coffee shop that has my specific brand of coffee," the man paused then added. "Homie," in a mocking tone. His eyes flashed an orangey gold color, and then he turned back to the menu looking pissed.

I glared at the man. I poked him in the chest. "This is my territory homie and people who I know can only be here. Watch," I told him. I waved to a buch of girls. "Whazzz up ladies?" They giggled and waved back. "See what I mean. Now leave."

"What is he doing?" I hiss to the others. "He is being a moron!" To my left, Kat was trying hard not to laugh out loud. Instead she was doom it silently.

"He is brilliant!" she exclaims softly. I just roll my eyes.

"Hey man, what's up with your eyes?" I ask him. Okay, he needs to leave. He is breaking Seth by this talk. I pushed him out of the door. I patt him on the back. "Nice knowing you. Leave now please and go raise the roof of your...house...homie."

The man didn't mind he was being pushed out. He simply accepted the push and then continued through the mall. The doors shut silently behind him.
"He is psycho." I say. "He just walked off like he was some kid at an amusement park!"

I laughed. Seth talking like that was pretty funny, but at thesame time, it sounded stupid. "Okay, so this is definetly a monster. Did you see his eyes?"
