The Quest to New York {private}

We walked foe some time. I tapped my fingers against my leg. "What was the next line in the prochepy?" I asked. We had to firgue this out before it was too late.

I thpught a moment. Then I shrugged. "I have no idea. I think it had something todo with an altar." I rubbed my neck and moved my tense muscles. I need to get up and do something.

"Isn't an altar the thing in church?" I asked. I frowned. Obviously there was more than one kind of altar.

I nodded half way. "Kind of," I said. "I mean, yes, but there are different kinds. There are ceremonial altars, memorial alters, I think there are some...sacraficial altars..." I looked up at the group. Why did I sy that?

I could feel the color drain from my face. A sacrifice? "So...you mean...one of us is going to have to volunteer to die?" I gulped.

"What?" I asked abruptly. "Why would that mean thing? The prohpecy line was...uh...and never forget what at the altar?" Bella nodded softly. "I think that's it." She said.

I rubbed my head. "Then, let's find an altar somewhere. Like, an altar thingy," I said. I sighed. We had to fond thid weapon.

I rubbed myneck woth both of my hands. "Honestly," I said. "I really just want tp get this over with and get back home." I glanced behind me and let my hands fall to my side. The smoked in area was still dense with the unseeing substance. It seemed almos like a death trap looking back in it. I never wanted to enter it again. I still blamed Seth's stupid arrow.

I looked at Kat. "Tell me about it. Once we get home, I'm annoying you more and playing a prank on you," I said with a smirk. Izzy rolled her eyes.

"You know," I said, "I may have told you this before, but I would love to see you even try to get into the Hermes cabin without something happening to you when you reach for the door. Want me to name a few things that have happened?" I asked. I started counting off my fingures in my mind just in case he actually wanted to know.

I snorted. "Yeah okay. I'm Seth Motega, the super fly on the wall," I said. I walked a few steps and tripped. I got up quickly. "Stupid gravity."

I burst out lauging like a crazy person. "Gravity has nothing to do with it!" I yell to him through heavy laughter. "Oh, oh, ppffttt-haha!" I couldnt't control my self. "You're such an idiot!"

I grumbled under my breath. "Yeah, I'm an idiot. Well, since you've been hanging out with me, you must be a moron," I told her. I smirked. Izzy sighed and shook her head.

I smirked. "Yeah," I taunted. "The Idiot's Moron. Two negatives in my name. That equals a positive! Ha! So I'm actually the normal one!" I stuck my tongue out at him. Bella huffed. "Normal," and rolled her eyes.

I rolled my eyes at both of them. "You guys...just shut up. Your giving me a headache," I said, rubbing my temples. Seth smiled. "Got her breaking point!" He yelled.

I rolled my eyes. "We got them both a while ago, Seth," I tell him. "My goal is to get to yours." I pursed my lips and looke him up and down as if I were planning something.

I grinned. "Well good luck with that!" I exclaimed, throwing my arms in the air for effect. Kat looked like she was thinking hard. "Don't hurt yourself Kat," I said.

I rolled my eyes at him. "Whatever," I huff. I lag behind him a little then jump onto his back. "Mush, I say! Mush!" He probably couldn't carry me. Which, made me laugh, but I wpuld just have to wait him out. Bella looked at me like I was crazy. I smiled.

I grunted under Kat's weight. I shrugged. Why not? She wasn't that heavy. I ran to the other end of the hall with kat on my back.

I rolled my eyes. "Oh gods, what are we gonna do with them?"

I groaned with laughter. "You weren't supossed to accept it," I whinned. I almost hoped my arms that were locked around his neck. Maybe I xpuld make him give in and I could win. But, it might have been to gpod to be true.

I rolled my eyes. "I've been asking yself that question for four years."

I laughed a bit. My friends were crazy, but i didn't mind as much. We walked down the halls, trying to find this stupid altar thingy. I rubbed my temples. what weapon coud be so powerful to bring down the gods? Seth grunted under Kat's weight. "Okay, get off," he told Kat. I rolled my eyes once more. Boys. My eyes scanned the surroundings. I squinted my eyes when I saw something shinny and shooting sparks. Yet, it seemed to be raidiating death and darkness as well. I froze and my eyes went wide. That couldn't be it, right?

I laughed and slid off his back. "What?" I said. "Can't take a little extra weight?" I turned back to look at the others and saw Izzy's eyes land on something. I followed her gaze and saw spmwthing sparking. What in the world...?

I rolled my eyes. "I can take a little extra weight. You are just-" I stopped short when I saw Izzy freeze. My green eyes followed her gray eye gaze. Something shinny, liquidly, and death like was at the other end of the hall. Suddenly, Izzy ran forward. "Isabella! WAIT!" I screamed. For all we knew, it could have been a trap. I rushed forward just as those two demigods apperead. That boy and girl. "Your tricks ar-" She never got to finish because Izzy kicked her in the chest, sending her flying.

~I found the my fir topic! Omg, it sucked! And then the beach where all our charries first met...*swoons* good times. Oh and looking back, i now remember the bot and girl's names. Amy and Jakob. (: I'm amazing, I know. xD~

"Oh crap." I muttered and unleashed my sword. We just couldn't get a break could we? It was Jakob and Amy again. Izzy cut off Amy fast with quick kick. I charged at Jakob with my sword and swung it straight at him, though my hilt went first and hit his temple hard. "Quit following us!" I yelled agrivated. I had had enough of him at camp those few years ago. I was really hoping I had never seen him again, but pbviously, my wishes never come true. Bella attacked the girl Izzy was attacking with her two knives.

I ran to Kat, who was battling the ugly boy. Then, suddenly, new footsteps were heard. I turned and saw another kid. Holy crap. It was girl, but she had piercing blue eyes and brown hair that was pulled into a braid then hung over her shoulder. In other words, she was hot. She started me down. Her sword was pointed at my chest. "Who are thee?" She asked. Oh joy, a girl who was stuck in the 16th century. I rolled my eyes. "I art thou here to kick thy a**," I told her, smirking. her face scrunched up as she tried to decode what I just spoke. I took out my dagger fast and striked.

Man, this kid was annoying. Amy kicked away Bella. My eyes flashed with anger. I slashed at her chest, causing her to fall. For good measure, I kicked her in the chest once more. She grunted and fell. I narrowed my eyes at her. I put my knife to her throat. "Who the heck are you?" I hissed. She grinned and put a finger to her lips. "Ssshh," she said. And with that, she disappeared into darkness.
