I ripped off my Starbucks apron. I had just gotten back from my shift at the coffee shop back in the mortal world. I tossed it at a tree, it landing slightly in a branch. I grumbled, being too lazy to pull it down. I walked over to the tree and slid down it. I pulled my knees up to my chest and casually let my arms rest over my knees. I looked out at the calm water.

I pulled my ponytail out and forced the win towards me. It looks like my hair is naturally blowing in the wind. I didn't see the guy, but I heard him come up. I scooted up on the rock. "Hey there," I said.

I turned around on the rock. looked over at the apron he put down. I forced over to me and looked at it. "Starbucks. Nice," I murmured. I put it back. I looked over at him again. "Alice Heart, daughter of Bia. You?" I asked.
